I'm honestly very very very disappointed. I would have never expected this from queen bee. I took my little sister out for us both to get regular gel pedicures. I made sure to call in advance to book our appointments and tell them what I wanted so there wouldn't be any misunderstandings when it comes time to pay. This was my little sisters first time ever getting a pedicure. My sister sat in front of me, I heard the lady doing my sisters nails ask her questions about who she was here with, her age, etc. (which was fine with me). When it came time to pay my total was $100. I paid it and tipped then realized something wasn't right after. A gel pedicure was $40. Turned out they did a "lavender spa" for my sister. I didn't ask for that. They took advantage of us. I told them exactly what we we're getting done and charged me for an extra service. I just couldn't believe that they would do this, take advantage of a little child who doesn't know anything about getting nails done. The lady doing her nails knew I was her older sister and didn't ask my if it was ok to add a service and instead did it. UNBELIEVABLE. They didn't ask for my permission or anything. They did the service then charged me for it. I will never be coming back even though I used to be a customer. read more

This salon is absolutely the worst one i've been to in my life. First off, I went in for a new set which was $55 and I was fine with that. At the end of everything it ended up being $75 which is so overpriced especially for the job they did. I had two different people switching off and on working on my nails. Then, I asked for long coffin nails (which was extra money) and got short uneven squared nails. After the guy painted my nails and did the design I could tell how much I was going to dislike it. The paint was streaky and see through because he did 2 coats instead of 3. The paint started turning a brown color after 1 day. The design looked like 2 completely different designs on each hand and was so uneven and bumpy. Then the matte topcoat was ALSO extra money. Usually everything is included for a full set and is 55$ at most every other place!!! I paid and left and was so unhappy with my nails that I went back 2 days later. I told them every problem I had and that I either wanted a refund or it fixed. They refused to do a new set only repaint my nails but it had to be the same color or they wouldn't do it. They were clearly annoyed that I came in and said something and that they had to do the nails for FREE but I was not paying to fix their mistakes when I paid $75. The paint job is more opaque now but is still very streaky and already turning that same brown color again. She then continued to blame the brown coloring on the matte top coat so I asked for shiny yet they still gave me matte. I had never had a matte top coat do that to any other nails I ever got done. I have been going here since they opened and in the beginning the staff was wonderful. Since the owners girlfriend left to open another salon the staff has changed and Frankly it seems like she took all the experienced and friendly people With her. I have had my cuticles and feet cut multiple times. The last time I was there the tool they were going to use had a prior customers skin on it, I had to tell them to sterilize it. My last trip here I was there for 1.5 hours for the powder dip and it didn't dry so they proceeded to take it all off and said it had to be redone. The product they are using for the powder is a name brand but they don't use the same brand top coat which I think is the issue as they aren't compatible. I love getting pedicures here. You have to get one of the specialty ones though. A regular pedicure doesn't include all the bells and whistles. I have gotten gel manicures but nothing spectacular. They are slow so only plan on coming on a day when you have time to relax. Some of the techs are nice and others aren't but I guess that's common. Its okay. Polish, even on my toes, tends to chip in less than 1 day. I agree with previous comments that they use cheap polish. I like that they time the massage portion, I feel great leaving. But don't depend on a long lasting pedi, let alone mani. read more

Very nice. Super clean. They use all new tools for every person and even put a liner in the pedicure tub. Relaxing atmosphere and they have all the latest including gels and powder polish. Loved my gel manicure and gel pedicure the first time I was here. Today was my second visit and I was not happy with my visit. I got a regular pedicure and it looks like a child painted my toenails. When this place first opened, it was my go to nail spot, but I won't be back! I made an appointment for my mom and I at 1:30pm and at 2pm we still haven't been started on. Why take appointments if you arent going to honor them? My time is important and if someone says I have an appointment, I expect them to be on time! Went there three times to get my eyebrows waxed. Each time I went in they made one of my eyebrows uneven. I always tell them exactly what I want and they mess it up. Its local to me so when I'm in a rush they're easy to get too. But I gave them one last chance, the woman made my left eye brow significantly thinner than my right, I had her try and fix it 4 times but she just laughed at me. I had someone else try to come in and they made it worse. The lighting is not efficient enough in the room so they can't even see all of the hair. They need better lighting, more training, and better customer service. It's not okay to laugh at someone when they're upset. read more

I feel like one star is too generous!! I walked in to this beautiful, clean nail salon and was surprised they weren't more crowded. I found out why!! One tech put the acetone and foil on my fingers to remove my gel polish. Without a word, she went to start another clients manicure. Meanwhile, a client stands up and announces that she has waited an hour at a station for HER gel manicure, and the client walked out. 45 MINUTES LATER a different tech sits down and starts unwrapping one of my fingers. I asked if I could be finished in 20-25 min and she laughed and said yeah, maybe 25. WHAT??? I told her I'd had acetone on my fingers for 45 minutes and they were dry and stung--SHE LAUGHED AGAIN!!! Long story short, she removed my gel polish, then I removed myself from the establishment. DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON. THEY ARE SLOW, RUDE,AND COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I'm very disappointed with the way things are being managed at this salon. I really loved coming here when I first started going. My nails looked great and always left feeling pampered with my money being well spent. Service has declined a great deal with this salon becoming so popular. They are not trained or equip to handle the high demand Hamilton has placed on them since becoming so popular. Several times now I have made an appointment and have NOT been taken at the time of my appointment. Having an appointment is not honored. I'm beginning to believe there is no point in making one! I do not mind waiting five or ten minutes for my appointment but being made to wait a half hour to 45 minutes or more is ridiculous!!!!!!! I don't know about anyone else in Hamilton but my time is worth more to me than a free five minute massage at the close of service. If appointments are not going to be honored then perhaps this business should function on walk in service only. The last time I made an appointment walk ins' were taken before me. WTF?!?!?!?!!!!!!!! Tonight after waiting 25 minutes past my appointment and deciding not to waste my entire evening ONCE AGAIN waiting for an APPOINTMENT. I walked out and returned to my old Salon in Robbinsville (US Nails) where I have never once have EVER had to wait as a walk in. I have always liked going there because you are pampered as soon as you walk in the door with or without an appointment but had switched to Queen Bee when they first opened because it is much closer to home and enjoyed the free massage. US Nails is fast and efficient!!!!! I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. I am greatly saddened that Queen Bees service has declined to the point that a WALK IN appointment at one salon equals the wait time for an actual appointment. Perhaps Queen Bee staff should visit US Nails as a costumer and witness their efficiency. Queen Bees facility is immaculate and craftsmanship is impeccable! They are equally staffed as US Nails or possibly have even more staff members. There is no reason why they shouldn't be able to operate at the same level of service and efficiency!Also just as an added observation, why on earth do they have so many beautiful large screen televisions and they are rarely ever on? Once in a while one big screen TV is on but always with something extremely boring to watch. They are making loads of money with all those customers willing to wait around all day and night for an appointment. Netflix or Hulu connections would be a near drop in the bucket. ***TL;dr, pretty place, few nice workers, expensive and raising prices over little things, very shady owner/manager, like, illegally shady. When the salon first opened I was so in love! I'd go every 2 weeks for a refill and pedicure and the ladies and one man (not the owner/manager) would do such a great job and be very sweet and friendly towards me. The salon is still quite clean and the same people still work there, but now theres like 15 other people who have know clue how to do nails and be nice. I got a new set of acrylics for a prom I was going to, and the girl who was doing my nails was so damn rude for no reason. She even told me my nails would look ugly because I wanted them long (she tried to tell me to paint my nails with regular red nail polish and not get tips at all when what I wanted was gold gel tips). She refused to give me the shape I wanted (almond, she left them square) and didn't even paint the entire nail. She also cut my fingers numerous times and each time I told her that it hurt she was look at me and pull my hand/finger. Took me a while to go back, I went to a different salon down the street for a few refills. Eventually I went back to get a new set again, and I got the owner/manager. I told him my nail under the tip was somewhat broken and if they do that technique where they slide a fake nail underneath would really hurt me. He told me that he'll be gentle and if I don't like it he'll let the nails soak. As soon as he slide the nail I could feel it underneath my actual nail, and I told him right away. Didn't stop: my actual nail ended up split and throbbing. Had a bomb ass manicure afterwards but it wasn't worth the pain. Now the last time I went, I went with 2 friends and was offering to pay for the whole thing. We all got manipedis. To start off, my pedicure looks fucking awful lmao it was supposed to be white and it looks pink because the woman only did one coat. It's also very spotty for some reason. She also cut my toenails down to the the nub so it looks like my toes are fuckin baby carrots. One of my friends didn't even get the color she wanted due to issues with communication, but that wasn't a big deal to us. Then for my manicure, all my nails are different lengths, widths, thickness, and the design I got was such a disappointment lol. The girl who did them was very rude and actually made one nail almond shaped, a few coffin shaped, and the rest square shaped. They're very bumpy and she left lots of acrylic underneath the tips. I ended up having to pay 275 for 3 mani pedis. We all got the regular pedicure for $25, one just got a polish change, and the other had a regular manicure while I had a refill and design. I was told the total was going to be 225 so I was extra confused, but I let it slide because I just wanted to eat lol. NOW ONTO THE OWNER GUY. Idk what happened to him, but now he seems so greedy. The last times I went all he would do was smoke outside and tell some girls to get out of their chairs so he could make the manicures/pedicures go faster. As for the really fucked up part, he makes the employees work 30 days straight when they first start, they all live in the same building and he drives them everywhere in that fat ass van in the parking lot by shoprite. I don't know if he mistreats them or anything, but I know around prom season he hired a bunch of random people that are no longer there. Also out of curiosity from a review I read back when I was questioning if I still like the place or not, I asked the owner/manager why don't they display their license like all the other establishments do, he then went to the back which made me think he was getting it or something but he just stayed out back while I got my manicure so idkkkk seems sus. When it first opened it was pretty great, since then it's been in decline. Staff is great and accommodating but it seems they are thinning the nail polish and my nails and toes don't last a week! Honestly a hit or miss, and it shouldn't be. Been here multiple times, all different nail technicians, disappointed a majority of the time, yet unfortunately end up coming back due to this being the least dirtiest pedicure I can receive in Hamilton. Their customer service is very poor, I can tell some employees are trying but it's still not enough. I was a nail tech in the past for many years and based on the pedicure I received here I can tell they are very sanitary, however the polish was very spotty and uneven, and the woman doing my nails did not paint the entire nail despite me pointing it out to her and asking. I assume it was the difficulty of understanding me. Besides the paint job, phenomenal pedicure. Good use of the tools and very clean. My manicure was terrible sadly, and not as sanitary. I came in wanting a set removal and new set using forms. Did not receive forms and received tips instead like my previous manicure I got from here (hence why I wanted a removal). Not a huge deal to me, I just prefer my nails being sculpted versus just glued on. To remove the set, the nail tech first began using the drill to file my nails, like they should be done. Had high hopes for this, but then she grabbed an unused tip to pry the nail off. YOU SHOULD NEVER HAVE YOUR NAILS RIPPED OFF. You should always soak and allow the acrylic to bloat and come off in warm acetone. Another review had the same experience I did, when I told her I wanted to soak my nails she told me that this method is much more quicker. After constant complaining she finally soaked cotton balls in acetone and allowed the acrylic to soak off. Yes, this method is more time consuming, but that's how they teach you to do nails if you go to Nail Technician School (WHICH IS REQUIRED IN BOTH NJ AND NY, it is illegal to be unlicensed). I definitely do doubt any of the nail techs I've had are licensed, mainly because it requires 300 hours of schooling, which includes anatomy of the foot leg arm and hand, understanding of the chemicals used and chemistry, and many other courses. I doubt the licenses mainly because they are NOT displayed like it is required by businesses in NJ. NJ is a very strict states. She then tried to use the drill on my bare nail, which again, one of the basics they teach you in school is that you do NOT use the drill on bare nails or cuticles because it causes "Rings of Fire" which are divots in the nail bed (if you ever feel that burning sensation and noticed tiny red rings on your nail bed) that take 6 months to grow out, no cure for the damage besides that. It's a shame that they cause people to suffer with weak, thin, and damaged nails!!!! She also nicked my skin and did nothing else to it to disinfect the cut. The final look was disappointing because she used too much monomer with the powder, and had bubbles in the acrylic. The reason for the terrible review is because they have a factory set up of manicure and pedicure tables/chairs like many other nail salons, yet they charge the same prices as people who actually cherish the art of doing nails. It wouldn't matter if the quality was better. Also very shocked that their price quotes are less than their checkout price. Very unprofessional. I truly hope they clean up their act and get things in order soon because my friends and I will be sure to make FORMAL REPORTS and not just yelp and google reviews. I will never come back to this place again! I even have a gift certificate I forgot to bring for $85. I asked for a basic pedicure which is $25. The girl said OK and asked if I wanted a 10 minute massage, which I assumed was part of the $25 pedicure call. Well apparently that 10 minute massage upgraded my pedicure to $35. Then I asked for a full set with gel nail polish to match my toes. Of course they were out of the matching gel polish for my nails. As the gentleman started to put my full set on I could tell I should've just left after the pedicure. He had no idea what he was doing. He cut me three times and wouldn't listen to me when I kept correcting him about the shape of my nails. So I ended up using regular nail polish on my hands the same as my toes. I walked out paying $70 plus tips-$35 for a pedicure and $35 for a full set with regular nail polish. Worst part is my nails look like garbage and I can't wait to pay to have them taken off! I have acrylic all over my hands and nail shavings stuck to every finger! Not to mention the acrylic is half an inch thick, wider at the tips than my nail, and it looks like I already need a refill. I went to this salon to get a manicure and pedicure at 2 in the afternoon on a Monday, which most would think a salon would not be busy. I waited for about a half hour before they took me to the back to soak My feet. This salon puts a plastic bag in the foot part so that it's sterile, the person who set mine up got the plastic stuck in the part of the machine that makes the water blow bubbles, so it was not working. They left me sitting for an hour soaking my feet in cold and draining water. Multiple times I had tried to get someone's attention but they all acted so busy they just walked hastefully by without acknowledging me. By the time someone started doing my pedicure my feet were pruning. Then after an hour it was time to get my manicure, it was not the same person who did my toes, I waited for ten minutes for someone to start doing my nails and then halfway through a man came into the salon and I guess was hired to do something in the back so the technician doing my nails got up and left to deal with the man and said would be right back after ten minutes of waiting he finally came back. After being at the nail salon for 3 and a half hours I had a manicure and pedicure. I was very disappointed because the first time I went to this newer salon it was wonderful, but this time was a terrible experience and after trying to say something multiple times not one person even attempted to apologize for the inconvience of waiting or having a pedicure seat that did not work. read more

The first time I went here, when they first opened, I thought I found my new nail place. They were very patient and accommodating. I was getting my nails and a pedicure for a friends wedding and I needed just the right color to not clash with the dress. They took the time to get the color right and offer suggestions. Every time since, I have to wait at least 45 minutes to be sat in a chair with still standing water in the tub which is then filled on top of making it cold and possibly already used?!?! I'm not sure. When I ask for warmer water, they take out a few inches and add more lukewarm water on top. It's still cold! This has happened 2 or 3 times already. It's severely gone downhill since opening just a year ago! Also, while I was there, not 1 but 2 people came in complaining that their polish chipped off in less than a week. One was told to come back another time and the other waited 45 minutes for someone to come over and try to paint over the chipped paint until the lady kindly told them they better take the paint off and redo them completely. It seems they can not handle the amount of people that come in and then they over promise and under deliver. If I was told they couldn't take me that close to closing (I came in at 5:45 when they close at 7 and was sat in a chair at 6:30 only to sit another 20 minutes) I would have come back another time, but the guy told me to sign in and it would be 30 minutes. read more

There's maybe two people there that know how to do nails the owner and another lady but you can never remember anyone's name...everyone else is a disappointment the service is not consistent and they use whatever on your nails just so you leave with something to break off two days later I went because my mother wanted to pay for my nails for my birthday which was a couple of days ago and they already broke off I'm so disappointed I even told the older man who kept asking the older lady doing my moms nails what to use which I understood every word he was saying and making fun of the fact that he was just "going to use whatever" product on my nails, I was there for my bday and the older gentlemen, the only old guy there who did my "dip nails" used a bunch of random products to stick the powder to my nails the older people there should really not do nails they messed up mine and my mothers nails.....please just hire good nail techs because a lot of them don't care how your nails look after you leave I'm too nice to say he did a shitty job to his face and still tipped him anyway but I will never go back after spending so much money there....it's so rude and disgusting read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is awful. I went once awhile ago for a pedicure and 3 days later the polish was chipping and peeling off. I decided to give it another shot and took my daughter yesterday. She went in for a manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax but only got the pedicure because it took well over an hour due to all the massaging they did on her legs that she did not ask for or want. She told them she only wanted a regular pedicure. It took her forever just to do her nails and she cut her toe nails way too short. The polish on her toes looks like it was done by a 5 year old and I was charged $40 for this. When I called to complain, because we had to leave because I had to get back to work and she had to get to practice so I couldn't go back in person, they said they didn't have a $40 pedicure. I thought that was interesting. Now I know why the technician wouldn't let go of the receipt when I tried to take it so I could see what it said because I couldn't understand how much she was telling me it was. They also put the wrong color nail polish on and it was on so think you can see her nail through the polish. I won't go back here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

I've been to this place about three times for the dip powder, which I was very happy with how it turned out each time. But today was a terrible experience. I had David do my nails. And while at first he seemed nice; he quickly started rushing doing my nails. He was filing so roughly, scraping my skin and actually cutting me twice. He was quickly and constantly dipping my fingers into the powder not noticing how clumpy it was getting. So when I pointed it out, he told me he would file them down anyways. In which this case again he filed so rough, I began to bleed on my pointer finger. (Now this is where I got really upset). When he went to go wipe the blood off, it smeered on to the nail . Instead of cleaning it off, he continued to put a clear coat on top. At this point, I was running late and had somewhere to be. And I mentioned I would be coming back. I came back two hours later and spoke to someone and showed them what happened. First, they thought that the blood was on top and I had to firmly say ITS ON THE ACTUAL POWDER/NAIL COLOR. So they got David to fix it again which he seemed annoyed in doing so. I never got an apology or anything. I understand it's busy but by rushing and doing a half ass job is not the way to handle business. Especially when you're causing your customers to bleed from being so rough. Today was the first day that I visited this salon. Its very close to my house, it looked very nice, and I heard great things but it was a huge mistake. I am not picky with my nails and they did not do a terrible job but I have never been treated so badly by a business in my life. This was literally one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I got a manicure and a pedicure. The girl who did my nails seemed extremely bothered by me from the second I sat down and it made me extremely uncomfortable. She had a terrible attitude and was very frustrated with me because I didn't understand what she was saying the first time she said something. She was extremely aggressive with me throughout the entire appointment and at one point, picked my hand up and slammed it down on the table because i did not have my hand inside the dryer far enough and she had to adjust it. I wanted to walk out but my nails were already half way done. Once the appointment was over, i paid her and gave her a tip for doing my manicure/pedicure and she didn't even say thank you, she just walked away. I left feeling very disrespected, upset, and uncomfortable. I will never be back to this location. It is pricey and the service is absolutely terrible. read more

Be prepared to be there for a WHILE. The only really good thing I can say is that it was clean. I read reviews and heard from people who have been there before about it not being very fast paced but I wanted to check it out for myself. I went just for a gel manicure and pedicure. the place was very clean, the prices were reasonable for what I was getting done and the employees seemed friendly I guess. They give a 5 minute shoulder massage after a manicure which was nice and relaxing. But it was definitely too slow paced for me, I was there about 2 and a half hours, no designs nothing special. My feet didn't actually go in any water until they did everything besides the nail polish which was new for me. I thought while you wait you soak your feet in the water, but they told me to wait with my feet in the liner with no water so that was strange. After my slow, okay pedicure I waited 20 mins to get a manicure. I think the ladies I got were new and didn't really know what they were doing.
