What a very pleasant surprise. Several of us stopped by the vineyard to try a tasting after a hike in the area. We have been to local vineyards before and didn't have great expectations. WOW were we surprised. The vintner grows all his grapes onsite. Production is limited. The quality of the wines was surprisingly good. We were all blown away by the how balanced and complex most of the wines presented. We had the Whites -Vidal, Chardonel, Edelweiss, and Reds - Marquette, Vincent, Frontenac. Most of the wines were aged 6-7 yrs. We bought 11 mixed bottles. They do tastings only, no food of opening of purchased bottles. The owner was very nice and fun to talk to. The wines we tasted were awesome and our group bought a couple bottles! Definitely recommend!

What a wonderful host and yummy wine! Great ride on the bikes too . Roy is knowledgeable about wine making while sharing fun and interesting stories regarding his wine making experiences. Looking forward to the day he can open a bottle for us to enjoy on their lovely property. That is our 5 star caveat. read more

I visited this vineyard with a small group ( there were 4 of us). The owner was the sweetest, he stayed open after his scheduled hours to accommodate our group. We sampled 5 wines (3 whites and 2 reds). All wines were very tasty and he has different types of grapes, not your typical reisling, Chardonnay, etc. I would highly recommend Queen Bee Vineyard, if you are looking to try some unique wines. read more

It is located on a suburban/rural neighborhood at a residential house. It has about 4-5 parking spots and has a tasting room in the basement. The tasting room is done very well and the owner is so nice. He is a great conversationalist. The wine is ok and they have only been in business a little bit. I had a great time and thought the backyard was so pretty with views of the grapes and hills. I do recommend a visit, but not for large groups. read more

What a wonderful, quaint place to visit. Not to mention, the wine was pretty yummy as well. My sister-in-law and I visited on a whim and we were both delighted with not only the hospitality we received, but the great selection and varieties of wine we got to sample. read more
