We've been to this location several times since we moved to our Encanterra community, just a mile away. We've consistently had friendly and fast service along with delicious food. A typical go-to order for us is one orders one pancake and the other orders the 2-eggs, tater tots, sausage with sourdough toast and jam. It's the perfect amount of food to share since we typically walk from our community. We wish that they offered lates as their coffee is good, but a little dark for us. For hot drinks, they only serve regular coffee. They seem to have a nice variety of iced coffee drinks on tap for those who like ice coffee. We'll be back again! read more

I've only been here at this location one time but it was for take out. I've been to an Over Easy by Lifetime in Gilbert many years ago and wasn't too thrilled but I wanted to give this location a shot. Unfortunately, the biscuits and gravy were not good. The gravy tasted burnt for some reason. Maybe they used bacon grease that was left on the burner too long? It wasn't burnt but tasted like it. They also didn't give nearly enough gravy. So it was quite dry. Crackers & Co off the 60 & country club is still the hands down winner of biscuits and gravy in the east valley. Fresh squeezed OJ was good. Pricy. But you can taste that they for sure were squeezing their oranges fresh in the back. Pancake dog was pretty good nothing to run home about though. Scrambled eggs were really tasty - not liquid fake egg or powder. We sat outside and even though we were in the shade now I was concerned that the sun may of been hitting the area we were sitting earlier in the day. And this concerned me because they don't mind having the cholula and ketchup baking in the sun. So be aware of you use their condiments they may of been outside baking in the az sun (as shown in my pic). The service was respectful and nice. Don't think I'll be back especially if I want biscuits and gravy... may try something else in take out in the future. read more

This was our first time eating at Over Easy. The entrance to the restaurant opened up to a bright locally decorated dining area with a country good morning flair. I love the local decor on the walls. Please see my photos below. When we entered the restaurant, we were pleasantly greeted by the hostesses. We were quickly seated and welcomed by our fantastic server Jacob. Jacob made some great recommendations which we took. My husband had the chilaquiles Christmas style, it had delicious green and red chili flavor and was a sizable portion. I had the green chili omelette. The eggs were light and fluffy and the omelette was pretty large. I opted for the tater tots on the side. They were crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. I like that they had a few different types of hot sauces on the table to choose from. My breakfast entrée came with a side of toast. I chose the sourdough toast and the from scratch jelly which was scrumptious. One thing Jacob was super proud of was the fact that they were a from scratch kitchen. Many dishes on the menu do not come with bread, it is an extra, charge,similar to Dennys. The food was really good I loved the pancakes I got mine with Reeses Pieces and my friend got m & ms and we both loved ours. The coffee I got was really good as well. The omlette my other friend got she said wasnt all that good and should have been fluffier and didnt seem like it was a 3 egg omlette and didnt have a lot of ham like it listed on the menu. This is our local location we have visited on numerous times. We have been a fan of over easy for many years dated back when they only had one location in the city. This location still has good food and service. Yes, over easy has changed a lot with the growth of the company. It's nothing like how it used to be back in the days. Two bites into the blueberry cornbread at Over Easy Queen Creek, I realized there was visible mold inside. The blueberry sauce made it hard to notice at first, but once I saw it, I was done. I have a mold allergy and ended up getting sick--nausea and vomiting not long after. What really bothered me is that no one came over to apologize or acknowledge what happened. I was just told, "We'll take it off the bill." I left immediately, feeling upset and honestly unsafe. The food was pretty good! Loved the protein pancakes but the service was a bit lack luster. We were seated by a door and one of the girls opened it and started spraying aerosol window cleaner that ended up on my husband's breakfast! Eek! Attention to timing and detail needed. Son visiting from Montana, we needed a hearty send off breakfast before flight home. Son and I both had chicken fried steak, eggs, hash browns and toast. Wife had bacon, eggs, hash browns and English muffin. Food arrived quickly, and piping hot. Excellent CFS. Large, tender, crisp and with just the right amount of tasty creamy gravy. Good portion of hash browns, perfect eggs. Minor issue, and easily fixed, my sourdough toast was a small misshapen slice, barely toasted. Wife's English muffin was good, but again, barely toasted. We just went yesterday for breakfast to kick off our LNY celebration. Unfortunately we didn't know there was a virtual line that you could join prior but it was okay. Wait time was 50 minutes and they seated us at around the 35 minutes wait. There wasn't much room to wait inside but the front wait staff said my little girls and I could wait there to keep warm instead of freezing outside. That made the wait bearable for sure. Once we were seated, Scooter helped us. He got my kids their order in stat and came back around promptly to get the adult orders. He was on the ball! My eldest said that he was very nice and he really was. We ended up ordering two kids breakfast, steak and eggs, biscuits and gravy and the OG Wolfpack. I'll start with the positives. The OG Wolfpack was delicious! Biscuits and gravy were good too but lacked a little more gravy. Steak and eggs had decent steak but I didn't enjoy the sauce. I think others will though. The kids French toast was great but the kids waffle was like eating cardboard. Kids loved the wix sticks during breakfast. Very enjoyable for the kids to play with and the peace during breakfast for the adults was a win!! Bathrooms were clean and you could tell that it was regularly cleaned. Baby change table was out of order. Thankfully I didn't need to change a diaper while there. Overall, I would definitely come back and try the OG Wolfpack for myself. Staff were excellent. read more

This place is definitely the closest you'll get to a southern home cooked meal, if you ask me. I got the California Omelet. It was delicious and it was fresh. The fresh feta cheese really makes the omelet! The side of diced potatoes with peppers was pretty tasty and a nice touch! We also got the eggs benedict to share, and the sweet potatoes on the side were cooked to perfection (these bad boys are definitely difficult to cook just right!). Though it was pretty busy, we were seated right away in a large booth. Our friendly server came over shortly after. I ordered a coffee then an avocado benedict. It comes with two eggs over easy on avocado split halves topped with pico de gallo and feta, hollandaise sauce on the side as well as fresh fruit. I added a side of two eggs for extra protein, and because I just love eggs! The ingredients were fresh. I really enjoyed this fun twist on the classic. I don't remember what my husband ordered, but he also enjoyed it. He actually loved the whole experience so much he said he found his new favorite brunch spot! read more

The day starts with breakfast! Over Easy has a selection of various drinks and breakfast dishes on their menu. This place gets busy but my husband and I were seated right away as we didn't mind sitting at the bar area. Otherwise, it was a 45 minute wait for a table for two. Parking wasn't too limited but keep in mind that it is a shared parking lot with several other businesses in that same plaza. Service from start to end was friendly and attentive. Mimosa flight - 4 flavors I ordered a flight with kiwi, peach, mango, & guava flavored mimosas. I believe the drinks were a concoction of flavored syrup with champagne. The peach and mango flavors were decent and on the sweeter side. Overall, this was ok. It just tasted very artificial. I personally wouldn't recommend the kiwi flavor. Golden waffle dogs - Basically, these were sausage corn dogs. Nothing too special but they were tasty. They weren't too greasy or too salty. This was paired with syrup on the side. Brioche French toast - The consistency was good but I think this dish could've been paired with some fresh berries. This comes with salted butter on the side and you can ask for syrup. TIP: this may sound silly but if you're sitting outside and there is a slight breeze, anything topped with powder sugar may get on your clothes. Overall, I would recommend to try this if you're in the area. I'll probably return to try some of the other dishes on the menu. Happy eating! read more
