I come here to get pedicures. I've been coming here since it opened and they service and results are always great. Probably one of the only places that doesn't nip me or make it painful and uncomfortable. I definitely recommend Albert, he always does a great job on me. I went in to get my acrylic nails removed the other day and the nail tech who did it, I don't remember her name, did a horrible job. She had me soak my nails in a BOWL of acetone and proceeded to lift my acrylics from my already RAW nail bed with a plastic nail tip practically ripping the acrylic nail off of my real nails. I could've just done that on my own if I knew that's the technique she was going to utilize. I left with acrylic powder still on my nails leaving my nails looking all bumpy and gross. To add, she was truly rushing the process while also going back and forth working with myself and another client. Also, I swear I was sat in that chair for only about 15 minutes when I'm sure the process usually takes a bit more time since you want to ensure the nails are left in a relatively healthy state once all of the acrylic is removed. This was my first time getting the service done here and it's MOST definitely my last. I'm sure the other nail technicians would've done a better job compared to the one I was assigned. So I came here to get a pedicure for the first time, as I walked in, the workers would just look at me and not ask anything. The vibe felt weird and not welcoming. One of the girls finally made solid eye contact and I let her know I wanted a pedicure, so she said to pick a color. I picked color and waited for 20 minutes until I was sat down. While waiting all of them started to talk in their language, and let me tel you, you don't have to understand the language to know the obvious. They were quiet when I arrived and once I was here they started saying things and laughing. Regardless if it was bad talking or not, they sure make it feel that way. Anyways, I was finally attended to , one of employees girls filled the water tub and told me to soak my feet. I sat there for 20 minutes just waiting. (By the way I always turn my timer on with new places I visit , that's how I know the amount of time they take to provide service ) Finally someone came to start my pedicure. I even forgot the color I chose because I was waiting there so long. Ok So, I've never experienced a pedicure that felt so lazy and careless, the girl was supposedly pushing my cuticle back but literally wasn't doing anything! And to top it off while she was doing that, she was looking away being nosy with another customers complaint not noticing that she wasn't even near my cuticle. The only toe she kinda focused on more was the big toes. I've always been used to getting a pedicure where they focus on really cleaning your cuticle, so maybe my expectations are high, but this was a pedicure express in my opinion. I took longer waiting, than the actual pedicure. Maybe it was the person who attended to me, I don't know. The girl was friendly, I will give her that. But her painting skills are not too good as well as her cuticle cleaning. Sorry but it's true and I like to leave honest reviews. This place lacks good customer service, I feel like they care for the customers they already have and don't really pay attention to new ones. To me customer service is crucial for any business so I hope they take that in consideration. Maybe learn to be more polite and welcoming. read more

I've been coming here for some time, mainly out of convenience. The salon is fine and they do decent work. I usually just get regular pedicures. That being said they need to work on their time management skills. Multiple times I've attempted to make an appointment they have not kept my time. They are 30 to 50 minutes behind. What's the point of making an appointment? My suggestion would be to advertise as a walk-in only so people who make appointments aren't always disappointed. read more

I'll never come back to this place. I've been coming here for a bit to do regular pedicures and decided to get gel and put acrylics on my 2 big toes. I went back to get it removed 6 weeks later and the man doing the service said no because it was too new and to get it removed next time. I said okay because he refused to remove it.Came back 2 weeks later and got the same man and he didn't know how to remove the acrylic and asked someone else. I came from a removal and they ripped them off and used a tip to take it off instead of soaking them off. It was the most painful experience and they saw I was in pain. Ripping off acrylic definitely is not a proper way to take them off. Also, appointments don't really mean anything. I had an appointment at 2pm I was seated at 2:25. This has happened several times. It's time I leave a review, I've been coming here for a while now. I usually see Ani for my nails and usually just ask for anyone for a pedicure because they're all great. This last pedicure I received was amazing. Not only did Michelle take her time and really thoroughly clean all my toenails, but she also got out some ingrown toenails, which had been bothering me for a while. Ani is amazing at what she does. Not only is she quick, but she's thorough as well so I'm able to get in and out on a lunch break if I need to. Love this place. read more

If I could I would give this place 0 starts for their lack of scheduling and professionalism. I made my regular monthly appointment for 1:30 PM to get a gel pedicure with Candice at 10 AM in the morning. The owner- Jenny, is the one who gave me the appointment, she's the skinny blonde haired girl. I arrive for my appointment at 1:28 PM and a gentleman asked me to sit down by the drying area after I told him I'm there for an appointment at 1:30 with Candice. I sat there and I waited quietly for 25 minutes. I turned around to see that Candice was barely beginning to scrub the bottom of the clients foot. Which means she was only half way done. I decided to interrupt and ask how much longer I need to wait because I had an appointment that I scheduled at 1:30 PM and it's now 1:55 PM and I'm still sitting here. Candace and then owner went back-and-forth in their language and decide to come up with - another 10 minutes. Anyone that gets a pedicure on the regular, knows that after the scrub, it doesn't take 10 minutes to apply the nail polish and clean around each toenail and and repeat the process for multiple coats. I don't think the owner understand what an appointment means and the purpose it's serves. The hours of operation on the door and online list 9am, but anytime you call, the owner answers the phone while she's driving to work. I usually call around 10-10:30 and she's never in the salon to look at the schedule of the technicians in order to give you a proper appointment. As a customer when you get upset because you've been waiting for so long, she doesn't bother taking the blame upon herself and instead defers to the technician to work faster. I've wanted to write this review for months now but refrained because Candice is such a great tech. Even though I've had to wait every single time I've made an appointment. But the owner and the way she runs her business is horrible and gives 0 care to her clients and their schedules. She tends to forget that if she continues, she will continue to loose clients. I've seen multiple clients walk in, wait for at least 20 minutes and then get up and leave. I was one of those clients today, because enough is enough. You don't respect my time and appointment slot, you don't deserve my business. It's that simple. read more

First off the lady with glasses who did the job was rushing. With both my manicure and waxing. Once she finished she goes and sits down and she's on her phone like really!!!?? What was all the rush for !!! And now second of all..... my underarms look horrible now !!! thanks to her waxing service. I still love coming here for my pedicures and manicures! There was an old reviewer that got mad because the nail techs would warn them that colors they chose were sheer and trying to dissuade the reviewer from getting those. Looking at the book of nail colors, it's hard to tell if the colors are going to be sheer or not. I chose a pale pink and the nail tech told me it was actually going to be sheer. Did I get mad? Nope! Why? Because she was doing her job of warning me it wouldn't be opaque so I could decide if I wanted to do that color. I'm not going to lower stars for her warning me. You can see the finished results and I love them! Sheer but a hint of pink and overall adds shine. Plus they're gel so it'll keep my nails looking nice for the next two weeks. read more

7/10/18: just got my nails done! IM IN LOVE! The esthetician recommended I try the white ombré. I'm glad I went with her suggestions because it did not disappoint! I spoke to the nail technician, and it turns out that this business had a change of ownership recently. I really liked my nail technician. I was a chronic nail biter so my nail beds are damaged. She took the time to reshape them and I like my acrylic nails to be short so she made sure to cut only a little amount off each time until it was the length that I wanted it to be! The place is really cute and clean and the color selection is huge for gel polish (that's why I just went with a classic nude because I couldn't decide). I had to physically stop her from going back and cutting my cuticles over n over so we can move on. So easy to just walk in took about 5 minutes for me to get my toe nails started. some people not though there's only about 4 people working. for a pedicure it cost 28 and for callous scrub it was an additional 10$. first thing that caught my eye was the stained hot towels they put on after. my toe nails were a bit small so they did what they could wasn't satisfied but the experience was nice. most of my toe wasn't painted though. now the next day at home my toes started to hurt and that's how ik they did something wrong or their tools weren't cleaned now forward my toes are red w puss coming out the side of my toe nail. very nice looking chairs and feet bowls. read more

I'm a very loyal customer here at queen spa & nails so it makes me very disappointed that I have to write this review, considering I refer so many of my friends to this place. On this specific visit I came to get a gel mani and a pedi. The nail tech started to work on my toes she asked if I wanted to remove calluses. So I said yes and she took out the tool ( it was metal / sandpaper with a handle ) and started rubbing it against my foot. She didn't take it out of a new plastic seal package so that itself was a red flag. She then scrubbed the side of my foot and I told her it hurt and she kept going and that's when she gave me not one but 3 cuts which were honestly soo deep that I thought I needed stitches. The worker then saw that I was bleeding and put an alcohol wipe and a large bandage. And laughed and said " oops sorry ". She tried to hide the fact that she cut me from other workers and manager so she never told her. I then paid and told her " I don't think I should pay for this " and the manager charged me full amount. I called the next morning bc I couldn't walk on that foot and the manager said " go to the doctors and get a note and then you can get a refund " As if the pictures I sent her weren't enough to show her that my foot was cut and swollen. what is a doctors note going to do ??? I will be honest. They do a great job at gel manicures but they have no sense of hospitality and their management is very unprofessional. read more

**** PLEASE READ AND DON'T GO HERE!! *** I called to make an appt for Saturday night and the owner schedule me for at 7 p.m. (Full set with Jenny & gel pedi with LIsa). I arrived 15 min before my appt. I was sat down in a chair and Lisa began to work on pedi. She showed me their polish book & I soon picked one out. I had nothing on my nails so I wasn't worried Jenny hadn't started on my set. But then 15 mins go by, 30 mins... then 45 and still nothing. Mind you, this entire time the staff was screaming and running around & joking and laughing super loudly!!! This was not a relaxing atmosphere by any means. As it gets closer to closing time (8pm) I'm just getting down with my pedi and the Lisa tells me, Jenny was running late with a customer and when she's done, she'll help you!! I was so annoyed at this point because for several minutes the owner and another employee was screaming at each other in their language and it that just wasn't very professional. So Jenny (who I'm assuming is the owner since she was the one answering the phones), calls me over and asks me to take a seat. She pulls my hand in kind of aggressively. She begins to sand my nails using the machine and you can tell she was so angry that her hands were shaking and I thought to myself, "I'M GOING TO LOSE A FINGER!!!" By now it's 8 o'clock and I tell her, I can come back tomorrow if it's too late. Even though she made the mistake of over-booking it, I didn't want my nails to come out horrible because she's rushing. So she goes, "no, it's ok". Then I see her bring out dirty tools from her drawers! So I pulled my hands away and asked her to get clean ones. She seemed bother by it but I didn't care. I'm not going to get an infection. She pulled another tool out and said it was clean. Mind you, there are no blue water containers or packets around that I can see (Lisa pulled one packet, that I assume was clean from her drawers). I felt so uncomfortable that I ended up pulling my hand away and asked her to reschedule me for the next day. I know, why would I go back?! Well, my friend comes here all the time and her nails always look good. So I figured, I'll give them a shot, maybe she was just having a bad night? So Jenny schedules me for the next afternoon at 3pm. I get there 5 mins early and she was still with a customer no where near done. I wait almost 30 mins!! Even after she scheduled me. She finally calls me over and she hadn't finished with the previous customer she just moved her over one seat and continued to finish her top coat. She finally gets to working on my set, again, I had to ask her to show me the clean tools. Her work came out very pretty. I went to pay and she charged me the credit card fee again!! So I told her, I was just here last night, why are you charging me again? I would have only been charge one fee but because of her dumb butt, I had to use my card again. She goes, "sorry, I have to charge it". Whatever. The set last just under 4 weeks. I just went to my usually nail salon and as she was taking off the acrylic set she showed me the nasty, gooey residue left behind! Yup!! This company is using MMA, A LIQUID IS ILLEGAL AND HAS BEEN BANNED IN THE U.S. FOR ALMOST 20 YEARS BECAUSE IT CAUSES PERMANENT LOSS AND DAMAGE TO NATURAL NAILS!!! However, some places still purchase it from China. I was wondering how they could afford to charge such cheap prices. Well, there is my answer. read more

I decided to give this place a second shot before leaving a review since everyone makes mistakes. I'm never going back again. The only pro of this place is that it's in a good location with easy parking and the salon is spacious. They have the worst nail polish selection. There's one small wall of colors and most of them are unknown brands or so old/clumpy that you can't use them. I went in for a pedicure and the tech finished my pedicure in less than 25 minutes. I don't have high expectations but if I'm paying for a service, don't half-ass the service. He tried to persuade me to pay extra for callus remover. I don't even have calluses. I told him a regular scrub is fine. He pointed at my heels and claimed I have a lot of dead skin. I reiterated that a regular scrub is fine and callus remover hurts my feet since it burns the skin. He proceeded to scrub my feet for less than 10 seconds each, which was more like a tickle than a scrub. It wasn't even long enough to scrub the dirt off. It's almost as if he was upset that I didn't pay extra for the callus remover. He then applied my nail polish in a clumpy fashion and kept returning to another toe to fix it, resulting in ugly streaks and layers. The top coat was applied so thick that it was running down the sides of my toenails. Shouldn't an experienced tech be able to apply nail polish nicely at the minimum? At the end, he dipped the tools he used on my feet in the same dirty water that my feet were soaking in and placed the tools back in his basket! I'm convinced that those tools are not going to be sanitized because why dip them in dirty water to begin with? I've only had a pedicure here so I can't comment on their nail design ability but their cleanliness and customer service is subpar. Needless to say, I'm not going back there again. read more
