My hair is blonde so it's hard to see and I'm pretty happy with the shapes of my brow and lip threading. She recommended chin as well and all 3 was $40. Not bad. The location is beautiful lots of natural light so I was confident she'd catch all my blondies. Though I did see a few hairs left behind when I went home it wasn't enough to go back in for. She was very meticulous and was quick, this is the first time I've felt like someone really took the care to make sure to make sure she did an extra good job and get every hair needed even one stray by my hairline. Pratima is my gurl!! She's so awesome and remembered me after all these years . I used to be a regular before the pandemic and it's so sweet she recognized me. The salon is close-by to my office and the quality is really good. Threading service is great and brow tinting is AMAZING. Pratima is good at her job and listens well. She made my tint lighter and removed some when I expressed it was too dark. (your brows are SUPPOSED to be a little dark because the tint will fade/get lighter after a day or two but I had to go back to work and didn't want to look that intense walking out the door) read more

I stumbled across this place cause I was in the area. It's a little hard to find and on the 3rd floor of the building. You need to call the number on their sign to get into the building. While the person who did my brows wasn't one for conversation, and the price was much more than I've ever paid, my brows did indeed slay after. I hadn't been to a threading salon in SF since before the pandemic so was at a loss, but was recommended QueenP by a friend. Made an appointment with Roshni for the same day (called to schedule) and I'm so happy w the results!! Roshni had such a gentle touch and was kind in directing me. Overall service for brow and lip was $30 and about 10 min. Perfect to get done on lunch break if you work in the area. Note that the salon is on the third floor of the building - no elevator that I could see but I could be mistaken. The exterior door is locked, but a clear sign states to call or text for the door code. Again, shout out to Roshni! I'm only coming her from now on!! read more

I guess I'm lucky because I plucked my eyebrows once in college (many, many moons ago) and haven't really had to do much since. I've been using a brow serum and my brows looked like they could use a little shape so I made an appointment with QueenP mostly because appointments are offered online and I'm kinda a last minute gal. The location is easy to find - just past all of the high end luxury stores on Geary if you're coming from Union Square. Unsafe salon - do not go here! I went in for a lash lift and left with swollen eyes with my eyelashes glued to my eyelids. On top of that, she had the audacity to charge me as I left the salon in panic tears! I then disputed the charge via Amex, and only then did the owner reach out to apologize, admitting the staff was not properly trained. Terrible, unsafe service. Update: literally 20 minutes after I posted this review, the owner texts me again trying to guilt trip me into deleting it! After I left with my eyes burning!!! Mind blown. STAY AWAY!! read more

I've been here twice and my experience yesterday was stellar! Pratima does a great job shaping my brows and the service is quick/precise. I'm always super happy with my brows when I leave but what led to me writing this review was the eyebrow lamination I received yesterday. I attached a photo and the eyebrow lamination turned out exactly the way I wanted it to (as I showed her a reference photo). I have never had such horrendous service before. My eyebrows are completely different shapes - not even cousins, they're from two different planets at this point. On top of being terribly shaped, whoever my person was told me "this is what YOU wanted" and "it was uneven before I even started!" OK??!! I was legit in shock and after telling her how I wasn't happy with the shape she told me "if you don't like the service you can leave. And don't ever come back" I'm still reeling at this statement after she fucked up my eyebrows and tells me never to come back. TLDR; DON'T COME HERE. Don't even try to give them a chance or think that there are other 5 star reviews and surely this was a one off bad experience. If gaslighting and telling a customer to never come back is her response to this situation then that speaks volumes to how she runs a business and her character. This is my go to eyebrow threading place in San Francisco. It's pretty hidden but there's a cluster of salons and various beauty services in the building. The sisters are very responsive on Yelp messaging so it's a great way to check they're open and not super busy. The threading is top notch and you can ask them to fix if it's not quite what you prefer. I come out with great looking eyebrows, though the process can be quite painful. They could also do with upgrading their chairs, as I sometimes feel they are close to breaking. Definitely book an appointment via their online system that you can access through their Yelp page. Eyebrow threading usually only takes 10 minutes; quick and efficient. I've been coming to QueenP Threading Salon since 2017. It's been a while since I've had my eyebrows threaded, so I booked an appointment through Yelp. Susma was running a bit late due to traffic, so I appreciated that she texted me to let me know ahead of time. I also appreciated the cleanliness and safety precautions in the salon. The threading session took about 10 minutes to complete. Susma offered some aloe gel to reduce the redness from threading. I am satisfied with how my brows were threaded to highlight the natural shape. I haven't visited the salon in a while, but I am always pleased with the results and customer service. read more

I prefer threading to waxing. It's less painful and also seems easier on my skin. I usually go to a place near Westfield, but QueenP has more stars on yelp and was closer. It's in the same building at the Ginto restaurant. I popped up to the 2nd floors which was a whole row of independent salons! I popped into QueenP. Another customer was just paying. They asked if I had a reservatio and I said no. They had me sit in a big comfy chair. 5-10min and $15 later, eyebrows are all cleaned up! They didn't ask me my preferences (thin, think, shape), but it turned out fine. Quick and easy. read more

Super convenient spot in FiDi led by two friendly sisters from Nepal! I'm pretty sure their expertise is in eyebrow threading, but I've only seen them for waxing services. This is done in a separate room around the corner from their main threading area, and I've only had good experiences with them so far. They do a pretty good job for the price; the space is clean and sanitary (they DO change and use those doctor's office paper things), they don't double dip, use hard and soft wax depending on the region, and the whole process is pretty quick. If you've been waxed regularly, or just before, it's no more uncomfortable than anywhere else. PS - they have a Groupon! read more

I'm so glad they are open again! I haven't had my eyebrows done since March due to sheltering in place. Pratima gave my brows a great and much needed clean up & trim. Very clean and very safe. She has adjusted to low-contact threading (using her neck to anchor the thread now instead of the mouth) and wears disposable gloves and a face mask. read more

I wanted to like this place sooo badly because it is a convenient walk from my office. I showed the lady photos of how they are supposed to look after I get them threaded and she barely glanced at the photos. When I showed her two different style brows to see which one looked better, she said they look the same, which should have been my first clue that it wouldn't be good, but I was already in the chair. She made my eyebrows soooo uneven I think it will take months to grow back. It is very disappointing because my wedding is coming up and I really hope they grow back evenly before then. This salon is at 660 market between 2nd and 3rd street. You have to dial in to get in after 6? There are various salons - tons of wax, haircut , etc - so a true one stop shop before an event! I have been going to Pratima for about 2 months now and my previously distorted brows are starting to shape nicely ,. she doesn't ask too much about how you want your brows which i like because really there is only one way to do it right and she knows how to. I had only experienced QueenP's threading services (since 2016) but today I tried the Brazilian wax with Susma for the first time. I recently moved back to the Bay Area and was looking for a new waxing spot - after finding out Pratima and Susma offered waxing services the last time I went for eyebrow/lip/chin threading. Onto the waxing review: I love how professional, clean, and painless it felt in comparison to other waxing salons I've been to. Susma uses a combination of soft wax (for thicker hairs) with strips and hard wax (for thinner hairs). The hard wax is dark blue and she leaves it on for a few seconds to dry and pulls - it doesn't require any strips. It was my first time using hard wax and I thought the process felt less painful. She was very calm and reassuring - definitely a plus. I will definitely be going back for the waxing services. Susma was also ready to accommodate a last minute request for eyebrow and upper lip threading and she is very talented in that realm too. I'm happy to support Pratima and her sister Susma for this long and will continue to do so while I live in the Bay Area. read more
