Came here for a cocktail after eating elsewhere, it's smedium sized, I love the little two-person booths they have in there. They also have an outside patio. Had a lemon drop and it was strong and declines, just how I like them! Service was friendly and prompt and the music was jamming.

A great place to start out the night with! Has cheap drinks and is a good time to sit around with friends and chat. Had a more older bar feel with wooden panels and decorations. Got multiple drinks with fast and for a good price. Might be smart to get there relatively early as there was a line that formed starting around 11 PM.

Queens has a cool atmosphere, and if you get there early enough diner-style seating. The drinks are fairly-priced, but the bartender was quite short and rude. Note that you have to order at the bar and there was never more than 2 bartenders serving regardless of the amount of people in the bar. The Kitchen closes extremely early so don't make plans to get food there. Overall, the decor is nice and Queens maintained its original Detroit ambience, but the service could be greatly improved.

We were out hopping around Detroit to celebrate my birthday and we happened upon this bar. We got here just in time!! We were able to sit at the bar and order our drinks. As we were sitting there the bar got extremely busy you could tell it was a popular spot! There ended up being a line out the door! We talked to a few regulars who worked in the area and were having a drink before their shifts. We were already getting a bit boozed up, so we needed to start rapping things up or our evening plans would be spoiled. A great place to check out if you're in the area!!

My coworkers and I decided to stop by this place together. A few others have visited here quite a few times, so we decided to give it a try. There was plenty of bar seating open and some good tunes were playing as well. It seemed like a really chill vibe. A gentleman came over and got everyone's order. We places our card on file. We celebrated a few birthdays, so it was a fun place that was not too crowded. The bartender made my boyfriend's drink pretty strong. He did not cheap out at all. We watched him poor a happy and heavy serving for his drink. He was impressed as no other place has made it this good for him in Michigan. The gentleman was funny and talked with us for minute. He checked on us frequently, even when more people came in. The only reason it is a 4 star is I believe it was a manager or owner but he had an attitude with everyone. He was rude and cold. My friend spilled his birthday drink and he did not give him a rag to dry his pants off. He just glared and quickly wiped the counteer. My friend made a joke and said I guess I cant get a refill for spilling it and laughed. He was rude about it saying he is not held accountable for something he did and walked off. It was a simple joke and he could not have a personality for that. The baretender was perfect. I would still come back in the future.

Great spot for good drinks and great music. Typically crowded on a Saturday night in the summer with a solid vibe.

Such a bummer because they do make good cocktails occasionally. We were one and done this evening due to the bad drinks and loads of people who brought their kids to this bar. The decor is great. We were definitely a little uncertain walking down a dumpster-filled alley, but once we stepped inside we were pleasantly surprised at how elegant, well-designed, and beautiful the interior was. We went around 6PM on a Thursday before a Red Wings game, and while there were 2-3 people seated at the bar, we were the only ones seated at a table. Service was attentive and quick. They served us a complimentary warm dark rum honey tea to start, and honestly I should have ordered a whole cup! It was delicious and unique, and I hope I can find something like it again. I would order it in a heartbeat. The drinks themselves were a little on the pricey end and since I wasn't in the mood for drinking a lot, I didn't end up ordering anything, but my boyfriend got The Hammer. Unfortunately he didn't realize it would be smoked and doesn't love the flavor of butane, but the presentation of the drink and the smoked spiced cashews that came with them were excellent! If it weren't for the butane flavor (which he believes not many others taste), my boyfriend would have really enjoyed his drink. I think it's definitely worth a visit for the ambiance and welcome drink alone, but be prepared to spend a little!

I took one look at the menu and cocktail list, and determed that we would be going somewhere else to eat afterwards, thinking, "this won't be a long visit at all." But oh was I pleasantly surprised. First round of cocktails set the tone and gave us the courage to go ahead and try some of the plates. We decided on the shrimp, pork belly and gorgonzola cheese ones. Absolutely delicious. So then we decided on round two of cocktails the plate of chips, avocado toast and another round of pork belly! Again, divine. Although I will admit, everything got dipped into the pork belly sauce. Was tempted to do a round three to try the highly recommended lobster rolls but decided to save something for the next visit because there will be one. They executed all the small plates exceptionally well. And the cocktails were top quality! Only complaint was the seats are very low to the ground. I'm short and my legs were aching. I can only imagine how uncomfortable those with normal legs feel after dining. BTW my daughter and her friends had a wonderful birthday celebration but ended up leaving us adults there because we were having such a good time!
