I specifically came out of my way to come to this location because it only had 5 start reviews on yelp and I want to find a consistent place to go to for an eyebrow wax. I'm giving 2 stars because the woman was nice but she firstly got the wax into some pieces of my hair somehow, which she didn't even acknowledge, even though I could see her trying to pull the dried wax out of my hair. So, I had dried wax in my hair all day. Then she burned both of my brow bones with the wax. It was very painful and the shop itself is overcrowded and not relaxing at all. I would not recommend this place.

If there is one thing I love; is consistency. This is what I get when I visit Queens Beauty Parlor. I love Farjana and her staff; they are true professionals. This is the place you go to when you want perfect eyebrows, silky legs, and a smooth Brazilian wax. No double dip! This location is the smallest one out of their three locations. Make sure to schedule an appointment if possible. Menuka is faster than a ninja and gives useful tips so that your skin is perfect for the wax before and after. Aside from the great service; the prices are cheap. A pack of five Brazilians is $100, and five eyebrows threading $25: a steal. The place is tiny as can be but it is spotless. Parking on Manhattan Ave is no biggie if you wait a few minutes for someone to pull out of a spot. The other two locations are in Astoria and Rego Park. Please tip well, ladies. You're in good hands.

I've been coming to Queens Beauty Parlor for past 3 years. Sanam is my girl! She does my eyebrow threading with tint so well. I always feel like a brand new women after having her slay my brows. She also does wonders on my Brazilian wax! Whenever I have an event coming up she makes sure to deliver great results each and every time. Thank you Sanam and staff for making your customers look and feel beautiful! Your mannerisms and professionalism are unmatched.

Finally found my golden eyebrow lady MENUKA. This review is for her! I've been coming here ever since they opened last year after the consistency and services received here. I live a block away and used to go to Sika religiously until I started having mediocre eyebrows. Then I stumbled upon the grand opening promotions being passed out on the sidewalk and decided to take a chance. So glad that I did. Every single time my eyebrows are so finessed and beautiful. People always ask me where I get it done and presume it's some fancy overcharging place in the city. Not only the great work, the salon is brand new and in excellent condition. It's always clean and refreshing to visit and there is hardly a long wait time. Menuka is always there and she's a very sweet person, she takes her time and is so graceful. If you purchase the prepaid eyebrow cards you're only paying $4 per eyebrow and that's so hard to find. I'm on my 3rd loyalty card and will always continue to support this business. Thank you so much! :)

I stumbled upon this place the other day and wanted to give it a try because of all the amazing reviews. I got lash extensions which were supposed to be $35 but since it was my first time there, they gave me 20% off so it came out to like $30!! I wanted them to be natural and not look too fake and I think they came out good. They really did a good job and the price is reasonable. I don't have a good before picture but you can see how the lashes look now

The waxes themselves are great and I have appreciated the staff and their technique. 1. I signed up for the Face Fix Membership. In the buying process, the Face Fix does not have a description of what it includes/excludes. I only discovered that it included 2 services/month when I tried to book a third service in the same month. Sure - ok maybe just a website issue... so I emailed them and have not heard back for a week+. But then, on top of that... 2. I canceled before my billing date (a day or two before), and for some reason, it's locking me into this membership until THE END OF SEPTEMBER - TWO months from now. I will obviously be disputing this with my credit card company, but it's pretty sus to me that it takes a month to "process by cancellation request." I've checked my confirmation email and there is nothing about a membership cancellation notice. There is also a "processing fee" of $15 to get your membership set up, which I accepted when I bought the membership. Anyways, my advice is to use the services at Uni Wax, but be very careful about what you're signing up for because they are employing some pretty sketchy practices.

Prior to this location, I was a customer at the location near Union Square for about 4 years but thankfully, the Williamsburg location is closer to my home so I switched. I started out going to Shivani who went out on maternity leave and recommended Emely so I have been going to her for over a year now. Emely is amazing! She's very good at her job but she's also friendly and attentive. I have made it clear that the products aren't the best for my skin so I only buy the body butter. As a result, she does not push me to purchase products which can be frustrating to constantly have products pushed on you. If Emely leaves, I'm going wherever she goes!

She is an overweight woman with short hair. My friend called me crying after being waxed by her. The first thing albina said to her when she walked in was "where are you from?" My friend is Palestinian, so when she said she was, albina continued for the entire session to proceed to say to my friend disgusting, terrible, uneducated opinions on politics and religion. She asked intrusive questions and argued with my friend, while my friend was spread eagle and vulnerable on the table getting waxed. This is another example of terrible, uneducated white Europeans and Americans that just think they can say whatever they've been reading their whole lives, with zero consequence. Palestinians are not responsible for the miss-education of white Europeans in this country. Albina also didn't provide any type of cooling or oil support after the wax, nor did she tweeze out any ingrown hairs, and didn't do a good job, proving this racist encounter further. Do not go to European wax center, there are a million other brown waxers in NY that won't make you cry, and actually do the job right. Albina, you deserve to be fired.
