Well I'm not going to be too hard on them since my first visit here was at 10pm. I've been really wanting to come here and try these donuts people have been talking about. As you can guess, at about 10pm, there really isn't much to be offered or considered "fresh". A place would go out of business if they had 12 varieties of fresh donuts 24/7. The place may be open 24/7 but it's really silly to think a place can honestly be expected to have fresh donuts all hours of the day. I like Krispy Kreme, but even at 11 when I go there, the donuts sometimes taste dried out and reaching the end of their "shelf life". So I grabbed some tiger tails and a couple cake donuts. They were pretty good actually. A couple things to keep in mind. It's in *deep* Pomona. While it's no Downtown LA at night, it still can be not the best place to take kids or your gf at night/near night. And payment method. I've worked with small businesses enough to understand that credit cards are convenient but they absolutely wreck mom and pop donut shops. I forgot to bring cash with me and I paid with my card. I could tell the older, tan man at the register wasn't too happy to see a card being used for 5 donuts, but...I don't carry cash with me in general and probably wouldn't carry much in the heart of Pomona at 10pm. If you really like this place (i.e. Want to support them), I'd suggest paying cash whenever you can. It really helps. Compared to these places, Queen's is; good/better than (Krispy Kreme) waaaaay better than (Yum Yum Donuts) not quite as good as (Donut Man) read more

They're open 24 hours, but if you go at night you can expect just regular glazed donuts. I recommend pulling up to the side and using the drive up window. If you come earlier in the day they usually have a good selection of classic donuts. Like chocolate, maple, sprinkles, pink frosting, etc. They also offer coffee, milks, and sodas. read more

Seeing the fresh donuts and people standing outside in the early morning made me stop by and give it a try. Their donuts are made fresh daily and its quite tasty. I ended up going for seconds. Since I was close by the area at lunch time I ended up trying out their sandwiches as well. It's pretty good, the bread is soft and they put a good amount of meat for you. We ordered half dozen blueberry donuts plus others they messages us saying they were out of everything and our order was cancelled. We called and asked personally they said they only had glazed. So we then proceeded with an order of ALL glazed because that's all they had and then we got ANOTHER txt that they were completely out of donuts. Queen's Donuts, how I want to give you a 5 star rating so bad but I can't. Here's why: So I hear about this place from my Yelp BFF Joe G, and decide to check it out. My first visit was on a Friday around noon. I picked up some blueberry donuts, a tiger tail, sugar coat, buttermilk, and an apple fritter. I was very pleased with all of them. (helpful hint: I microwaved each one for about 12 seconds to make them warm and soft). The blueberry donuts were off the hook for real. The best part was that my dozen plus milk only cost about $6. My parents and I ate that whole dozen like there was no tomorrow. So here's the problem. I brag to my wife about how good this place is and of course and offer to pick some up and drop it off at her work for a potluck. I came by 3 Sundays ago around 8 pm and asked for the same order. Dude tells me he ran out of blueberry, apple fritters and buttermilk and can only sell me one tiger tail! I was in shock. I could clearly see about a dozen tiger tails at the window but he will only sell me one! I said 'Yo, I am trying to buy donuts, not a highly sought after pair of Jordans'. I ended up saying forget it and cruised to Manna Donuts off Fairfield Ranch Rd in Chino Hills (also open 24 hrs, read my review for that place). I decided to forgive the Queen and come back last Thursday. Yet again I am tantalized by the blueberry donuts and pick up a chocolate twist for my wife. Then I make the same mistake this Sunday evening around 10pm. I swoop by for a blueberry and the guy tells me he ran out of all donuts and only has muffins! WTF! I asked if he will make more, and he says 'No". I was seriously very disappointed.I drove out of my way in the rain, with two crying kids from Chino Hills for nothing. The worst part is the guy is wearing a cooking apron but he ain't cooking nothing! I guess they get there donuts delivered in the morning and probably sell out every Sunday from church-goers. I'm on a quest to find the perfect donut. I tried the blueberry donut that everyone raves about. I'm not a cake donut fan because I always thought cake donuts are too dense and dry. Not this donut! It is moist and speckled with blueberries. So good!!! I also tried the raspberry filled donut. It was light, fluffy and generously filled. The young man who was working was very nice and helpful. Queens donuts have good donuts.. there's one problem, he doesn't sell you his donuts! when you come at night and request to buy a dozen donuts, he tells you he doesnt have enough donuts for the dozen! his display window has at least three dozen available, but he hordes them like they are the last donuts on earth. when you try and reason with him he tells you to come back tomorrow and becomes upset. but I guess we don't learn our lesson because we keep going hoping that maybe this time it will be different. but this time was the last time. going there is a waste of gas and time. read more

This place serves up hot/warm donuts that aren't so sweet! They have the regular usual items, glazed, sugar, buttermilk, traditional, cakes, twists etc...but they also have a few other items such as, Concha for the pan dulce panaderia loving crowd, carrot cakes some other things I didn't recognize and even a host of danishes. The best part about them is their dough. I don't know what they put in it but it IS NOT like the typical donut. You'll just have to try it out for yourself. It's more delicate in flavor and less sweet. IT doesn't leave that strange tart after taste in your mouth. Even their jelly and custard donuts won't make your mouth pucker up and leave you with a strange unidentifiable tartness in your mouth. Have been helped by other women there and they are so nice and polite but that one person is all it takes to loose my service. The donuts are not that's great had better. It's hard to find good quality donuts really late at night, especially when your pastry/donut cravings are at their peak! Thank goodness that this place was not too far from home. The surrounding area and general location is quite janky, but you forget about all that when your eyes are immediately drawn to the colorful trays of freshly baked donuts. It was late so there weren't that many options, but it was easy to pick out the one I wanted, the Tiger Tail. I hadn't seen anything like it before, and I wasn't sure what it was, but it looked delicious and I knew I must have it. First bite I knew I picked the right choice...glaze with chocolate swirl. The Blueberry Donut: Wow. Absolutely delicious. This captures the essence of blueberry in a donut vehicle. Imagine a fragrant blueberry muffin but prepped like a donut. The Bear-claw: I don't usually eat bear claws, but my wife got one. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Not greasy like other bear-claws. The filling was a bit sweet for my taste, but that's why I don't usually get bear-claws. The tenderness reminds of Krispy-Kreme Can't wait to go back for the others. read more

I love donuts but have not found a great place since moving to SoCal from the bay area. I saw the reviews for Queens and had to give it a try. This place is my official new donut spot. It's a small stand with very friendly staff. The donuts are all very fresh and very tasty! The tiger tails are a must if you stop by, but their standard glazed donuts are also really good. Their prices are also pretty cheap. The only down side to this place is its location...it's bad...REALLY bad. But the upside is that they have a drive thru. So if you are craving some donuts really late at night you won't even have to get out of your car! read more
