Great service, food selection and quality was excellent. Great to see a restaurant on the waterfront that can go anywhere from burgers to decadent seafood platters and desserts! Will be back! (One suggestion: toast your gluten-free buns before putting them on your burgers. Untoasted GF buns instantly crumble in your hands, making a mess of your meal. One minute under the broiler to brown the cut side of the buns would keep them together and make for a 5 star burger.) read more

Good food! Not the cheapest but considering the location and the atmosphere, the prices are not so unreasonable compared to other places. Respectful staff! I got the sushi and steak and I really enjoyed every bite of my steak. The sushi also had about 12 pieces which is considered a huge portion compared to other places like Earls that have the same option on their menu. As for the drinks, we got some cocktails. While they were a bit on the pricy side, it wasn't anything special. I'll probably stick to beer next time. read more

I wanted to really like the Queen Harbour- but knew it probably wouldn't live up to all the expectations from their viral videos. We booked a table in the Garden room, for those that were just as confused as I was when booking- the Garden room is towards the back and more "casual" then their regular dinning room but offers the same menu. It's definitely louder (got super loud towards the end of our dinner was hard to her each other), and seemed to be their "lounge" spot later in the night? There was were definitely lots of ladies dressed up and camped out at the bar area taking selfies and groups of men walking in looking to mingle. lol. I would suggest if you were on a date night or nice dinner with friends to book in their regular dinning room as when we walked by post dinner it still seemed very calm and enjoyable without a high pitched laughing drunk girls from the bar. In terms of service, our bus boy was lovely and so on top of things!!! He got us water right away and always knew when we needed something, sadly the server herself was not as on top of it as he was- she kinda wandered in late, took the orders then came back as we were midst first bites to have a convo... I would say as they are new and quite busy I didn't expect service to be top notch, and you shouldn't either as it definitely is not. There's a lot of men dressed in black suits (I think they work there) standing near the the front with glazed looks as well as over the balcony just eyeing the crowd- was definitely an odd addition. The manager came by to introduce himself but also at the most inconvenient time (while we were mid chewing- extending his hand for a handshake- double odd as people use their hands to eat the fries and pita with..). Food was really just mediocre, the drinks were good!! I would definitely say this would be a great spot pre dinner or midday to meet up with friends and grab light apps but for dinner I was disappointed. We ordered a whole bunch of sharing plates and when they arrived realized majority of them shared the same dips as the dip plate we ordered (servers usually would point this out as we ended up with very similar plates). They also give you WAY too many pitas!! To the point when they brought out another with another dish we asked them to just take it back as no way we were going to eat it and it was just wasteful at this point. The highlight would be the dip plate, and the roasted carrots. Aside from that, the rest of the menu was just lacking in anything that made it memorable. Overall Queens Harbour was an interesting experience. We had went for my girlfriends birthday as we heard good reviews. Upon entering I was a bit surprised as to how causal people were dressed. Flip flops, basketball jerseys, ripped pants etc. My assumption was that it was a bit more elevated. Along with that I had put on our reservation that we were celebrating my girlfriend's birthday as I had said. But there was no mention of it during our time there even after saying it again. It was unfortunate because I'm not sure if it was our waitress who wasn't listening, but a table a few down from us had the little dessert with sparkler on it for a birthday and it made me wonder where the miscommunication was... Nonetheless the food was pretty good. Based on my experience I personally won't be going back. But if you are looking for a causal spot on the harbour, check it out. read more

New hot spot on Harbour Front that you should add to your list of restaurants to check out this Summer. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food- DELICIOUS, great service and mid-tier prices. I would recommend the classic margarita, Harbour salad and maki roll appetizer! All so flavourful and satisfying. Overall 9/10. The music was slightly too loud for enjoying conversation but I recognize that with a large open space the noise level with many people is also a factor. read more

The place is very large and I loved the Christmas decor. Great views of the city skyline if you're on the top floor. For starters, my wife and I ordered their olives and feta cheese dish and a platter of oysters. I loved the feta cheese dip and used it as a spread for the bread they gave us with the dish. The oysters were PEI Malpeque and tasted great. For our entree, we ordered their OG Platter. The steaks were cooked a nice medium rare and were seasoned well. We also loved the sliders and the Mac and cheese. Lastly, the waiter talked us into getting a Ferrero Rocher cheesecake for dessert. It was great ending to the meal. The service was a little slow but our server was enthusiastic and helpful. I'm also impressed that they validated our parking! I had a great time and would definitely recommend this place. read more

New to the waterfront this is a massive new bar/eatery that can seat hundreds (up to 800 apparently). For those familiar with the area the building used to house PawLinks (?), an animal rescue shelter. There is a main entrance off the street but there is an another one down the side of the building. We had reservations and were directed to this entrance where there was a hostess as well. Again, this is a big building and we were taken to the upper section that was a bit too sunny for our preference they were able to accommodate us on the main floor. From where we sat the interior looked like a cruise ship deck. The restrooms were on the second floor and I did not see an elevator but with the size of the building there may have been one. Lots of choice on the menu that ranges from sushi to middle eastern flavours. A lot of the dishes are shareable. As this is a bar as well the drink options are almost limitless. The food was actually decent. We ordered a shareable platter that came with sliders, steak, rapini, calamari and a pasta. Small dessert selection with only 4 items and 2 of them unavailable. Service was great! Our server was really helpful in making suggestions. We also got our plates changed mid meal. From where I sat I watched her check each plate and wipe down when needed. There was alot of staff! This places oozes young, hip and waiting to be seen. By 2:00 pm the place was almost full with music coming from the in house DJ. If in the area we would consider coming again to try some other items. read more

This massive new complex is beautifully built with tons of indoor and outdoor space, a great addition to the water front. The vibes are great, drinks are solid, but food and service is not quite up to snuff as they get through their growing pains. Only food dish we liked was the chicken wings. Beautiful venue for this massive restaurant, it seems it is brand new creating the hype for this establishment. The detail into making this place look beautiful inside and out is noticeable. With three floors and different types of seating, I would be sure to make a reservation. The menu has plenty variation for food connoisseurs of all sorts. The starters we tried came out quickly and had plenty of flavor. Drinks were the only thing we felt took quite a while which led to them being watered down by the time they got to us. Fantastic surprise to have Queens Harbour open now. The place somehow feels different from other GTA restos, and the food and service certainly complement an amazing environment. We tried the queens crispy sushi and Wagyu gyoza to kick off and both dishes were quality. The chef was also accomodating enough to ensure the spice level stayed low to our tastes. Mains covered beef - one ribeye and one steak frites which was a juicy picanha. Both were complemented with a delicate garlic compound butter that blended very well with the fatty cuts. Sides were generously offerings of mashed potato, charred broccoli, rocket leaves with Parmesan and, of course, fries. All of these were executed to great standards. The hostesses were friendly, and our server Dallah a great guide through the menu and the venue. He was professional and made us feel at home. We will be back to journey through the rest of the menu and the other spaces for sure. We ate in the main dining room, but there are more spaces inside and out. read more

The service was terrible. We waited over an hour to get our appetizers. The food was average. It then took half an hour to get our bill. There were also mistakes on the bill that needed to get corrected. They weren't corrected. I had invited colleagues from out of town so it was so embarrassing. Good Potential, But Service Needs Major Overhaul This is a new, upscale restaurant with many positive reviews, so I went in expecting a certain level of service--and was disappointed. While the atmosphere is great and the decor is excellent, the service severely needs improvement across the board, from the hosts to the floor staff. On my first visit (with a reservation), I was left waiting 10 minutes past my time. The servers seem completely overwhelmed, running around and struggling to pay attention to their tables. I assume they are severely understaffed. My second visit highlighted the operational issues. I was told by the person opening the door that the restaurant was "fully booked" because I didn't have a reservation. I stepped two meters away, checked online, immediately booked a table, walked back in, and was seated--proving they were not fully booked. This kind of inconsistency is unacceptable at this price point. The food is fine, but could definitely improve, and the drinks are just okay. The layout is also problematic; it's a little difficult walking around because the dining room feels oversaturated with tables. Also, be prepared for noise--the music is too loud, making it impossible to hold a comfortable conversation. Overall, the venue has potential, but the management needs to address staffing, service flow, and consistency before it truly lives up to its "upscale" reputation read more

Queens? Not quite majestic... Been a minute since I last came to Toronto and its downtown core area. My friends and I decided on checking out this new place since I got inside news that a lot of money has been invested into renovating and building up this place. We managed to find parking in a nearby parkade since parking on the street was almost impossible. The restaurant is located right on the side of the harbour. inside is well lit and freshly renovated with a modern layout. It's almost like a fusion of a restaurant, lounge and club. After greeted by the friendly hostesses and seated, here were the food I ordered; 1. Dozen of PEI Malpeque oysters. Pretty fresh and cleanly shucked. 2. Kalamari. A little bit dry and its more of a pub style than restaurant style. I personally prefer the chunky and juicier version more. 3. Beef carpaccio. The beef was very tender and flavourful, all the ingredients were quite well balanced. 4. Scorpion wings (chilli lime). The wings were meaty and juicy with a nice little kick of the chilli lime flavour. 5. Wagyu sliders. Although I am always weary in ordering sliders but these little guys were pretty good. 6. Greek village salad. I am so so on this one, a thin brick of feta but didn't quite do the job for me. 7. Sashimi platter. The sashimi were fresh but somehow I still find the sashimi here in Vancouver better. 8. Papi shrimp tempura roll. (But for some random roll instead). It's okay, quite refreshing although it's not the roll I ordered. 9. 7 seas rainbow roll. Pretty much a rainbow roll, I find it quite expensive for what it is. This place is renovated with a beautiful simple yet elegant modern interior and layout. The front offers a spacious relaxing dining area while the back is hosted with a more upbeat disco like dining atmosphere and DJ. As for the service; the hostesses were friendly and professional.... And it just all literally ended right there at the door. The rest that followed was a freaking joke. I honestly had better services at the Tim Hortons drive thru with someone who can barely speak English; food were missing and came at random time, had 2 set of cutleries and settings for a group of 6 during the duration of our stay even though I continuously asked for them but fell on death ears (was I supposed to feed all my friends or use our fingers?!?), dirty plates were never clear and piling up like the Eiffel Tower (it's worse then a $5 buffet) until I paid the bill (the bill was never shown to me, I was just shown the amount and the suggested HIGH tip amount, whatever, I just paid it). This was absolutely a failure on the management part, millions were poured into this place and the training of the servers were worse than taking a new group off the next boat. The food overall was decent although there is always room for improvement. I can safely say if it wasn't for the chefs doing a decent job on the food from the sushi bar to the kitchen, this place wouldn't even be in my after thoughts for a repeat Overall, with all being said, it's definitely not a 4 or 5 stars like any of the reviews said. Lack of leadership and accountability! We were told there would be around an 1hr 30 mins wait. We ended up waiting 2 hours and we were given seats at the bar. I asked the server if it was busy at the bar and he mentioned it wasn't, as shown by empty bar seats. Meaning, we could've been served earlier if they really cared about their customers! Atmosphere is great there, cool interior, large space. But the food was really mediocre. We got rainbow sushi roll and kalamari. The sushi was not flavourful, at all. And was $26, not worth it at all. The Kalamari was $21 and VERY crunchy and not very flavourful. Lastly, my girlfriend asked to substitute rum for gin in a cocktail, the waitress said no substitutions because the cocktails are all pre-made.. what??? Cool place but they are a total mess and not ready to be open. Went for a friends bday Friday night, reservation was for 7:45pm but didn't get seated until after 8:30pm. No big deal. Then ordered drinks and 30 minutes later, I finally got my beer, and another 20 minutes before anyone got their cocktails. Ordered some apps and they were great. However for the mains, it was 40 minutes between them bringing out the first person and the last persons meals. At this point we just wanted to leave and asked for our bill. After another half hour waiting, I had to go up to the main bar area and ask again for our bill. Finally it comes but the server leaves without letting us pay, (just shoot me), Also the bill had some random drinks on it but at this point we just wanted to leave and I didn't wait to risk wasting another hour over $30 bucks. After ANOTHER 30 minutes of waiting and going back to the main bar begging to let us pay and leave, someone FINALLY came to cash us out. Look, it's a cool place with good food and friendly staff. But they aren't close to being ready to being open and easily one of the most frustrating dining experiences. Save yourself the pain and stay away for now. Wait until next summer when hopefully they're a finely tuned machine. But based on last night, you couldn't pay me to go back. read more

The setting and service was/is exceptional. My Steak (from the Steak and Frites) was "grizzly" however the appetizer Mediterranean Dips was a really good balance of med spreads. All others in our party enjoyed their orders and we did receive a complimentary and unprompted dessert for the "birthday girl" My real problem came with the Bill. Our server (who was delightful) printed a barely readable printout summary of our meal and then handed it to me for my obvious immediate payment. When she saw that I was taken aback by this she was quick to get a more readable version. What happened to the presentation of a invoice in a folio for discreet review and then payment? Yep I'm older but I find this presentation of a ridiculously small font invoice with a hovering machine expecting immediate payment just wrong. BTW, we knew of our 2 hour time limit and were well under this threshold by 25 minutes. Maybe I'm being petty, it's just not the way you want to end a mostly delightful experience. read more

Had the pleasure of visiting queens harbour during their opening and again recently and my experience both times was phenominal! I really enjoyed the vibe .. as soon as you walk in you feel transported to a tropical destination. Lake views, open roof, lush greenery, and the perfect music to set the tone. Food and service also amazing - recommend trying the Miami roll as well as the steak and sushi which was a favourite at my table. My server was very friendly, fun, and made sure we had a great time.
