First of all, stop with the fake reviews based on my experience the food is trash!!!!. The chefs are definitely inexperienced and desperate for work and don't care what they're putting out there. I ordered a tuna melt on Texas toast with avocado. It was not Texas toast, the avocado was black, and the tuna was cooked. The whole thing was so soggy and disgusting. Fortunately, I had a good waitress who was able to fix the bill and not charge me as per my request. my husband ordered a breakfast with three eggs. They brought out two eggs and said the other egg would be ready in a few minutes. Unbelievable! Can't make this shit up. How are they even open? I don't know. There are no good diners in the area. This was my first visit to Triplets Restaurant. It was a Saturday at 2pm. I took a seat at the counter and ordered the Triplet Burger with fries. I've sort of been conditioned to expect a McDonald's sized slider when eating out. This double burger was gigantic. It was too big to fit in my mouth so I nibbled around. I enjoyed my meal while watching Little League Baseball on television. I was too full to eat even one fry so they were boxed up to go. Stopped in for a quick bite. Nostalgic place that feels like I'm back in time a bit, but all diners have that feel I guess. Booth seating, pies in a fridge on display as you walk in. Sadly the ac vent above us kept dripping which was off putting. I got disco fries and the others got a meal deal that came with soup, meal and ice cream which was a great deal. Parents didn't like the broccoli cheddar soup because there wasn't much broccoli and tasted like flour. They did enjoy the Liver and onions. I ate the coffee ice cream. We came for a late lunch/early dinner when I was visiting family. Love that they're open in the evenings, because some of our other fave diners in the area close after lunch. This is the kind of spot where you walk in and see a giant glass cabinet of cakes and pies, so you know this spot is gonna be legit. We sat down in the booth and ordered. The food came quickly and was hearty and excellent. Love that many dishes come with a choice of either fries or soup as the side. Since it was chilly we all got the soup. I believe they make most if not all soups in house. Mine was tomato and was lovely. I got major FOMO though because my uncle got the clam chowder, which was so creamy and well seasoned. For my main I got a special tuna melt that included pepperjack & avocado. I swapped out the Texas toast for wheat bread and it was still excellent. The bread was so buttery and everything went together so well. Service was very friendly. A cozy, nostalgic atmosphere. The check was super reasonable for four people with full meals. Generous portions. Fast service. Homie ambience. This place truly makes you feel like home. I was quite surprised the amount of food that you get for your money! I ordered a meatloaf with mashed potato and coleslaw. In addition to that this dish came even with a desert and all this was ONLY 14 dollars! Since it was just going to be my husband and I for Thanksgiving, I was looking all around for someplace where we could go out to eat and save ourselves, the shopping, cooking and cleaning. I've heard triplets recommended so many times so I thought I would look into it. I saw they were having a buffet, but not wanting to go to a buffet as my very first experience there on a holiday, I decided to go ahead of time and we went the Sunday before for breakfast.. breakfast literally blew us away. It's the best breakfast we've had in the four years since we moved up to northeastern Pennsylvania and we have tried many. It was just exceptional even the potatoes were perfect which a lot of places struggle with especially when you order your breakfast later in the day and we had breakfast at 2 o'clock.. so needless to say we decided that we liked it and we wanted to come back for Thanksgiving. We were seated so quickly when we came for the buffet. All the food was hot and delicious and we just loved it. The service was great. Our server was in a great mood. There was no stress over working on a holiday. We just hit it off and really enjoyed ourselves. The inside of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. I'd give it a solid 3.5 We were visiting the area. We walked in and had to wait for a good 5-7 minutes before being acknowledged. Definitely a local spot bc others were greeted as old friends. The food and service is good. Tonight was a bit disturbing. My son is a thirsty two year old autistic man. He talks all the time. He's in his own space. The people at the circle table seemed anoyed. The food here is YUMMILICIOUS!!!! It is the only place in the Poconos that has the large breakfast sausage that has that crisp snap when you cut into it type (like the Thumanns or Hatfields).
