Was looking to buy a car around Boston and had called some dealerships--some cars available but more $$ than I wanted to spend. Went to a car auction but disappointed with the poor condition of the cars. Called QAE back and the Internet contact, Chris Pease, was helpful, told me what he had in stock, pricing, general condition, no pressure even though he gave a lot of info over the phone. Visited them--turned out they were like an auction--but the cars he mentioned were in good shape, had a couple of choices. I ended up buying a third car (3 wks ago) that was half of Kelly BB--worked well on a long road trip. I will have to put $$ into it for tires, A/C and some incidentals, but the engine/transmission/cooling all in good shape, worth fixing to have a nicer car. My mechanic checked it out and I expect to break even or better when I sell it. QAE was easy to contact/work with, flexible, and the car turned out to be solid overall. They seemed interested in my overall satisfaction, and I am happy with what they sold me. Could have got a lemon but didn't. Thanks! read more
