I tried to go early in the morning so there wouldn't be that much backup. The office is so tiny, the size of a bedroom. People were waiting outside. The tv was broken, the tv should have the pt names and who is next in the order so you know how behind they are. It is a very helpful item. So that didn't help with the people who kept bothering the techs every time they asked them when they opened the door. They were 45 minutes behind with my appointment, I asked the tech how he was and if this was his normal. He said yes. I asked how many techs were there and a lady from another room yelled we have 4 techs and are all working. I was shocked that I couldn't even speak to my own tech. (I wasn't speaking condescendingly, it's health care.) After that my labs were complete and I left. The only positive I can say is that it is very clean inside where they draw the labs. read more

Worst of the worst on Seacrest in Boynton. This Quest has easy business next to a hospital, so the very bottom rung employees are shipped here. AVOID! They are lazy, incompetent & vengeful. Had appointment at 10 AM, so I can get to work at 12, Just left the lab, 1 hour and 10 minutes later, still 6 people with earlier appointments waiting ahead of me. This place has no reception, nobody is there to help you or tell you what is going on and how long it is going to take.. Absolute disregard for your time. You can NOT plan anything for the day of your appointment as there is no way of knowing how long it will take. DO NOT MAKE APPOINTMENTS, It's useless. read more

Apparently something as simple as drawing blood is no longer a simple thing, and when my son needed a test done, his pediatrician sent us here to Quest. We entered a rather non descript building next to the hospital, walked down a non descript hallway, to a non descript office suite. I gotta say I was not horribly impressed with the dirty walls and floor, or the unfinished plaster job on one wall where a receptionist window was obviously taken out, but the computer kiosk for check in was fast and efficient! We got called in right at our appointed time, and straight back to a very professional tech who got us in and out. read more

This location is across from the hospital. My 3/29/23 @ 12PM appt was a great experience. I recommend submitting your information during the initial appointment request via the online portal. The day of the appt, you will receive a text with a link to check-in an hour prior to your appointment. The phlebotomist was quick & efficient. I barely felt anything. Purchased test. 5 days later told will be completed in another 2 days. Now 4 days later lab just put blood in to test today. Got to wai another 4 days. Making an appointment for this location (Seacrest, next to Bethesda East Hospital) was impossible (due to the system), so I just walked in. I knew walk-ins would have to wait longer than those with appointments, so I planned on being there awhile. I went as soon as they opened at 6:30am, but many others did too--it was standing-room only with people waiting out the door! I checked in (with their electronic kiosk) and waited. There is a monitor that displays your first name & first initial of your last name with your estimated wait time. My time kept fluctuating (waiting time in minutes is 28, 35, 55, 109, 122, 23, 19, 28). I drank a lot of water to prep for the part of my test that was a urine test, and I just couldn't hold it anymore. So I knocked on the door (you go through when you're called) to ask to use the restroom. There was no answer. I stood there and waited until the phlebotomist opened the door to call more people, but fortunately someone was leaving because they finished their test, so I just walked in. There's only one bathroom and it was being used, and had a line! As I was standing in line to use the bathroom when I saw the urine sample cups in a room where the phlebotomist was standing/working. So I walked over and asked her if I can have a cup because I really need to go to the bathroom, and I know I have to give a urine sample too. She said to just sit down beside her. I told her no, I really have to go to the bathroom. She said she knows, she's going to take my blood now. I was very happy to hear that and forced myself to hold it a little longer while she took my blood. Another reason why I drank so much water is because my veins tend to collapse, and I was told to drink lots of water to make the veins easier to access when giving blood. I drank 3 bottles of water, but this didn't seem to help. A vein could not be found in either arm. I told the phlebotomist that they have been able to take blood from the top of my hand. So, that's what we tried in the left hand. The blood wouldn't come out...even after she moved the needle around in my vein (which hurt a lot). She said she didn't want to keep hurting me, so we'll try the other hand. When she took the needle out of my left hand, blood started to pour out! She taped some gauze on it, then moved to my right hand. Like the left hand, she told me to make a fist and then she put the needle in. This time she was getting blood...very slowly. I felt my fingernails digging in my palm from making the fist, so I moved my fingers from being curled so my nails would stop digging in. When I did this, the phlebotomist quickly said to not move my fingers because the blood is coming out slowly. So, I focused on the pain from my nails rather than giving blood from the top of my hand. Finally, we were done. As I was leaving, the phlebotomist said "Hopefully, your blood will clot and the tests can be done. Otherwise, I'll call you so we can get more blood." Although the phlebotomist was nice and friendly, I hope I don't hear from her! There is ample parking at this location. read more

I needed to get a lot of blood work done and was sent to Quest Diagnostics. They have several locations. I made an appointment online for 10am. It's inside of a building behind the hospital so the GPS was helpful for sure. I signed into the computer and was taken right away!! ***Make an appointment, bring your ID and Insurance card and it will go smooth. I was in at 10:10am and done by 10:24am. Drops of Love Laboratories can be scary but once you walk into this office you will feel safe. It was my first time visiting this laboratory, I made an appointment online for 9:30 am and I didn't had to wait to be seen. Always good to be seen on time ;) There's a tablet for you to check in using your phone number or a confirmation code. The system will show your information for you to confirm. Pretty easy right? The waiting room has around 7-8 chairs if you have to wait. Cleanliness and organization is 100% Besides the easy to use technology equipment and the cleans environment, the most important thing was how the staff make you feel. I was helped by Sandra; such a lovely and caring lady. The 15 min I spend there I felt I made a friend. She greeted me with warm and sincere approach. She took the time to get to know me and make me feel that everything was going to be ok. Sandra even made jokes and was interested in my love story lol. I had some blood work done at quest diagnostic lab. The lab itself is fairly clean and modern. You set up your appointment online, checkin on a tablet with a scanner via barcode that is emailed to you and has all of your info. I had no wait time. The nurse called me in and I was seen immediately. She seemed skillful and had no problems finding my veins and taking my blood. The nurse takes the payment right there so again no time was wasted waiting for someone to take care of checkout. The reason I'm giving them a four star and not a five is because the place felt very cold and sterile and at the same times it was somewhat unclean. But if you have a busy schedule like I do, it's easy in and out and you can move on with the rest of your day. read more

I had an awful experience there 5/26/23. My appointment was 7:50AM, I've arrived on time. No receptionist in the office - self serve terminal which prompts me that I am 10 min late and I am 105th in line and I need to reschedule for another day. What! I've asked for the manager who instead of trying to solve the problem elevates it into a scandal implying that I am lying that I came on time! Wait, there is another patient with the same problem, trying to do express check-in and computer does the same thing - you are late for more then 10 min - reschedule for another day. I think I'll make a formal complaint with corporate office but not sure if such a huge corporation would care about quality control or customer satisfaction. read more

This was an awesome experience. I have had a lot of trouble being able to get blood from this turnip. I have an autoimmune disease so it has been a challenge each and every time I give blood ( no veins) But this particular lab made a stressful situation into a non- stress free experience. David the manager was kind, patient, and complemented the girls and the office. This was a true team effort that was an awesome experience for me.
