I went after an appointment late afternoon without an appointment, the office was not crowded and I did not have to wait long. I came in for blood work as part of my pregnancy screening. The lady who took my blood was so nice and made nice conversation and before I knew it, I was done and on my way home. This was quick, easy, and very pleasant. Excellent service. I was a little worried after reading some negative reviews. The waiting room was 3/4 full. The receptionist took her lunch 5 minutes after I got there. I did not have an appointment but they still had me in and out in about 30 minutes! The woman who took my blood was a Pro - No pain! read more

I came in before 9am today (Friday) with no appointment. There were a few people before me and people that came in with appointments, but I was seen in 30 minutes. My phlebotomist, Esmerelda, was very friendly and upbeat. It was the easiest blood draw I've ever had. She found a vein right away and I didn't even feel the needle go in! read more

Worse place ever for me. I've been having my blood drawn regularly for awhile now (15 years to be exact) and never have i had as bad as an experience as I did here. I've never been sent home before without actually getting my blood drawn. I usually go to UCSF or the Quest in millbrae but this daly city location is closer to me so keep giving them a chance. They've failed twice in the past and sent me home without being able to draw my blood! I figured I'd give them another chance. Usually UCSF or milbrae Quest gets my blood on the 1st try. But 3 people tried today and couldn't get my blood. They weren't accommodating either. I went in and told the phlebotomist that a warmer helps bring out my veins and she decided not to listen to me. She just kept repeating I have tiny veins. Then she pokes me twice with the same needle without warning. Is that even sanitary? She fails so she calls over someone else. They then proceed to speak in Tagalog in front of me, about me. Mind you, they didnt know I understood because when I interrupted, they were surprised that I understood. That's unprofessional and unethical to talk about your patient, in front of your patient, in a different language. You guys were making decisions together in Tagalog without including or informing me! I told this guy to use a warmer but he didn't listen either. Either way this guy fails too. Not only that, he didn't even clean the area with an alcohol swab. Now that area is swelling. They call in a third person and that third person didn't even feel confident about poking the right vein. So I decided to leave with several pokes and soreness. All that for nothing! Next time listen to your patient because it's your patient's body and your patient knows their own body better than you do! read more

My personal experience was awesome. I went in on Saturday morning and it took less than 10 mins for the entire process. Staff were friendly and professional. I really highly recommend to come here. I was afraid of the wait, etc... But it was even faster than a McDonald's drive-thru. read more

EXTREMELY disappointed with this lab. First off, I called the day prior to doing my testing and could not speak to an actual representative. I pressed the prompt for "patient" and all I could get was recorded messages, even after pressing "0" many times. I was on a 72-hr timeline to get a drug test done. The day I received this requisition was Tuesday afternoon so I planned on doing it the next day. After listening to the recorded messages under "hours of operation" for the Brentwood location, it stated their normal business hours were from 7:30 am - 4 pm and drug testing hours were from 8:30 am - 3 pm daily. I made arrangements with my supervisor to leave early the next day as I work in S.F. and commute on BART. I took two hours of unpaid leave in order to get back to the Brentwood location before 3 pm to get this done. When I arrived to the facility at 10 mins to 3 pm, I was told by the tech that their drug testing hours were from 11 am - 2 pm. I said that wasn't what the recorded message stated. She didn't care and just said they weren't doing them after that time. I explained my situation, i.e. leaving work early unpaid just to get there in time. Again, she didn't care and said if I followed the prompts on the recorded message it would have given me their website and the hours are on there. Why would I need to go to their website if the hours were given on the recording? Why would I think their recording hadn't been updated. I scrambled to get to another location in Antioch prior to them closing but was told they don't drug test at that location. Long story short, I had to have a new requisition sent to me to do this at a completely different lab with hours that actually accommodate a working person that has to commute! Bottom line this place is NOT accommodating and their hours are VERY limited and would be nice if they would have updated their recordings with the correct hours of operation or add a prompt to actually reach a live body for confirmation. This place is a life threat! They screwed up ONE test order slip from my doctor beyond recognition. I had no idea that so much could even be messed up! Let me count the ways: - they failed to find the codes for some of the test in their system although my doctor had given the correct codes. -they put the blood specimens into the wrong tubes and did not prepare them right -some blood specimens had expired before they reached the testing lab because they were sent out on the wrong day and could not be used -after I did a search on the Quest websites and found the codes, I went back and told the ignorant lady at the front desk. She insisted she had done it right. I had to contact her supervisor to get it fixed. -when her supervisor called her back (I overheard the conversation because I was waiting at the draw station), she tried to talk her way out of it by saying the testing lab could just take some of the access blood out of other tubes and fill new tubes. Really? Isn't that a good way to contaminate blood specimens? -they did a test which my doctor had not ordered -they did not do two tests that my doctor had ordered -in part of the lab slips they put the wrong diagnostic code (my doctor had given the right one on the order though) -in the other part of the lab slips they didn't put any diagnostic code (although the code was on my doctor's order slip). This led to Quest incorrectly billing me. I had to spend over an hour on the phone with their billing department to get that fixed. -they did not put the ordering doctor"s contact information into the system so after the test results were in, they did not know which doctor to send the results to. All the while my doctor was waiting for the test results. -After the first blood draw of 28 vials of blood, I had to go back and get another 12 vials drawn because of their mistakes. Then when we found further mistakes, I had to go back and get 5 more vials of blood drawn. Who would have ever thought that you can screw up so much on a single test order slip? Do not trust this place to deal with your health. Don't walk away, run. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!! read more

If I can review this company, I guess I will have to start this with the letter 'p'. Pretty much, if I want to piss out what they do, then I will state it out right now. With much aim, Quest Diagnostic deals with anything with forensic drug testing. They also control the custody and control of that information. If you ever want a job, you go through them. Pretty much, you're the donor of a special liquid yellow gift. Here are the reasons you will get drug test. Any pre-employment, reasonable suspicion or cause, post accident, promotion, return to duty, follow up or any random reason. Quest Diagnostic does do a good job making sure it's 100% right by seeing if the piss is between 90 or 100 F after four minutes of going number one. These bottles they head to a Quest Diganostic lab through a Diagnostic courier. They print out the records and share it with your employer. So the next time you take a wiz in a bottle, you know where it's going. Lol read more

i hate yelp. i think it was invented for white people to snitch and i do not like rattling on people but my experience with this particular lab on campus drive was awful. my first visit i got there at 7am and had to wait over an hour for a blood and breath test. they took a few vials of blood and told me to do the breath test but i had just popped a piece of gum in my mouth literal minutes before and they said i had to come back in an hour when the gum remains weren't in my mouth anymore. so whatever i went and ran some errands and i came back to do the breath test. i called my doctors office and they said they only got 7 out of the 27 orders they had sent so somehow the paperwork wasn't right and i was told i had to return. when i came back i told them they had to stick my hand cuz my arms are too chubby but they stuck my arm anyway and weren't able to get any blood. then she stuck my hand and messed that up somehow. they could see i was getting frustrated and offered me juice like i was a child. they got the supervisor to stick my other hand but she didn't get any blood either. i started crying out of frustration i had never experienced such unprofessionalism in my life. i get tattoos all the time but this was just uncomfortable and condescending. i have to go to a quest again because no blood was drawn. i'm willing to drive wherever else besides this one hopefully they take their careers seriously at other locations. read more
