My appointment is as for 8:00am, I arrive and they say it's at 8:30a, I wait around and get called back, I'm asked if I want to lay down and I say I'm fine, the tech can't find a vein in either arm, I'm already nervous and I start getting more nervous, she pokes me once and says she missed the vein, I'm getting more nervous, she called another woman over to help and I asked if I could go ahead and lay down since this seems like it will be difficult, the other woman asks if I feel sick and I say a little, she immediately says we can't draw your blood, I said I'm just nervous, she didn't give a s*** what I was saying and acted VERY uncaring and not compassionate at all at my nervousness. I said the girl already offered for me to lay down but because I ask now it's a problem. It doesn't make any sense. I just was trying to do something to help me relax. She didn't care and walked away. They didn't put a bandaid on the injection site and it was just an all around unprofessional experience. If I can help it I will never go back. I was in there this past week to drop my sample specimen, and witnessed some of the worst customer service and most insensitive personal interactions in a medical establishment that I've ever seen. The kiosk log-in wasn't clear enough (with no help available) so that several of those like me (with brown paper bags) in the waiting room had signed in for appointments, not realizing that dropping off specimens was under the icon HELP. After I myself did this, I then later enrolled to 'drop a sample' TWICE, received numbers to await being called (neither number, or any number, was ever called) in the approximately 1.5 hours there. Not once did any attendant look into the waiting room, check up on anyone, or ask if anyone had frozen specimens. . ..despite it being obvious that several people were waiting for just that?! These samples are required to be frozen. . ..luckily I'd asked the worker to put mine in the refrigerator. . .. and as the attendant eventually, and righteously, told one already in the waiting room for an hour, that they would not accept his sample because it was liquid. She then told him he'd have to wait in the waiting room again so that when he's called (finally) he can get his new frozen specimen kit? Any wonder he was extremely upset? Several other patients were seen (before those with frozen specimens) and they also left complaining loudly and one wished the last of us, "Good Luck." Not once did I see or hear any friendly interaction or any evidence of concern for the patient customers by the two working there. Not even a 'hello' or 'have a good day' either in the waiting room or in the exam room. Certainly, many jobs are unpleasant or tiring, but I've seldom experienced such an unwelcoming business. These people evidently are understaffed, overworked, or, as well, insensitive and poorly trained? After my visiting a very good Quest site at RiverBend Hospital one day and then the next day this Quest site on Division Avenue, it's fortunate. .. .Quest now has the opportunity to correct some serious deficiencies in the protocols at your Quest Solutions on Division Avenue, and to address some serious insensitivity with regard to your employees interactions with their ill customers. I made an appt w/Lab to get blood work. First time use of this Lab and certainly will be my last. (Off Barger Lab" check in is by electronic. no person. quits after a few moments but no warning that documents are needed PRIOR TO USE. an elderly man had been waiting for 2 hrs. He was told he needed an appt to DROP OFF A SAMPLE. That's right: the gal who came out to deal w/elderly man? she couldn't have been bothered and told him either wait (expected time was 5 hrs more) or leave. This is health care run by FOR PROFIT Hedge Funds that care not a breath for the well being or comfort of patients...but dollar signs. Test done. Left to the woman who didn't like me? she's screaming 'have a nice day' angrily .... lol. I'll use any....that's ANY other place that can draw blood and collect urine. VOTE VOTE VOTE and the next person I hear tell our gov to have LESS REGULATIONS? will you please stop for one damn moment and think of a time when big business DIDN'T poison our rivers, oceans, air, animals, people and all while making enough money to pay millions to politicians and still break their last profit margins and paid CEO's millions of $...WELL, it just breaks my heart to hear ignorant and stupid people ask for something that will be the end of us all. The patients grew so angry that we had to be exited out the back door for our own safety. They don't have enough staff to keep up "due to corporate policy." This company needs to leave. Stop allowing hospitals to renew their contracts with this terrible company. read more

Check in machine not working. Long wait in line to CHECK IN and when i got to machine it said i was 10 min late so i lost my appt.. .wtf. Then i have to go standby....um...the machine did not take my standby. Then i had to do it again. ONE PERSON is working doing EVERYTHING. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. The poor phlebotomist cannot handle a room full of people waiting a broken machine, and the absoulte rage mood in this waiting room. I will ALWAYS GO TO LABCORP FROM NOW ON. read more

I had no idea an appointment was necessary. That's ok my issue was with the experience. Understandably they need to identified patients but the the lab tech tells me I owe 4.00 from April. Sitting in the chair waiting for a blood draw I can't check records. She insists on payment or no draw. As a company I wonder how many others has Quest extorted in this fashion? read more

If giving negative stars was possible, Quest would be NEGATIVE 5 across the board. Horrible service, and clearly, terrible management. Any positives are just lip service from the staff, as they are polite about telling you "the computer system double books appointments." Obviously, Quest knows they are the only diagnostic testing option for many health plans, and the lack of quality shows it. read more

Horrible. Zero patient care. We showed up early for appointment that we made days in advance after confirming in writing from OHSU that lab orders were faxed to that Quest office from OHSU. After checking in and waiting they told us they couldn't find the orders in the fax machine and refused to call OHSU to clear it up. Patient is on oxygen with a limited supply for travel and the lab was time sensitive for the condition being treated. Quest caused emotional distress and failed to do the lab as ordered by the doctor. read more

made a point to schedule my fasting labs... earliest appointment was 12:10....so I fasted and get there and only one worker there and they have to post pone me and this other patients labs because they are going to lunch....enjoy your food... read more

Terrible lab! Don't try entering your insurance information online, even though their website & scheduling service prompts you to, it does not enter your information & if you don't have your insurance card with you, they make you pay in full. Very misleading and inaccurate on their part. Staff are late to call you back for your scheduled appointment & then rush through you & are insensitive. I went to the Coburg Road office to simply drop off a lab. I signed in on the kiosk, and was never acknowledged. I waited in the waiting room for over 20 minutes. There was one other person there who said he has "waited more than he should have." During my wait, at about 10:15 am, the Grubhub guy showed up to deliver a McDonald's food delivery. The staff about broke their necks to get their food, it didn't sit on the counter for more than 10 seconds, while I sat in the waiting room with my drop-off - with no A/C I might add. When the wait time under my name on the screen reset for another 12 minutes to wait, I left, very angry. I went to Quest at Riverbend and I was in and out in less than two minutes. Worst service ever, and terrible for health care. I will never go here again and I will likely wait and wait before I pay my bill. read more

I really don't like the fact that there is nobody in the lobby to help folks check in. Two older individuals(not together)just sat in the lobby because they didn't know how to use the check in system. One was on walk in status and never checked in so he may have sat there all day had not some kind individuals waiting finally helped him to check in. He had already been there an hour waiting. Having said this, my phlebotomist, Jennifer was awesome. Friendly, funny, efficient and nope, it didn't even hurt. The other woman, Amanda was very friendly and smiley too. I rate my experience a 4, but if I didn't know how to check in, it would be something else way different. Thanks, Jennifer! read more

Got a Covid test here over two weeks ago and still haven't received results nor even an explanation. Technician here said the out-of-state lab where samples go is a "hot mess," and supervisors had told her not to say when to expect results. That was my only human contact with Quest; a call sends you to an endless phone tree, and the receptionist is an iPad. I led a 21-person tour requiring participants to get Covid tests; the one other traveler who used Quest got his results barely in time but said the technician (at another Quest lab) didn't witness him swabbing his nostrils. Those who used other labs got results much more quickly. One of them used to work in the Peace Health lab and has similar comments about Quest. Looks like an operation set up by a business major to maximize profits by minimizing labor costs. Even responses to reviews here look like they're generated by a computer. read more

I had a terrible experience at the Hilyard Street Quest location. The technician was incapable of doing a blood draw in either of my arms. She gave up on my right arm and then switched to my left. After several attempts she finally managed to get a small sample which she said was not adequate for the required test. She then said she was incapable of doing the blood draw and said she would get some one else to do it. I said forget about it and left in disgust...with an arm rapidly turning black and blue. I have never had this happen before in years and years of routine blood draws. read more

I thought I made appointment at quest on division this morning but when I checked in I had no appointment so I went on standby, I was #4 on standby at 8:30 and made it to #1 at 12:10 with 4 people with appointments and they where 20 minutes behind so I left. I was told they don't allow any time for walk-in it's only if someone doesn't show up will they take a walk-in. Their where at least 4 other people that thought they made a appointment to find out they had to go on stand-by, I was in 3weeks ago made appointment they where 1 1/2 late for my appointment to find out my Dr. had not call it in, I had to leave and have my Dr. call in made another appointment 2 days later and they where 1 1/2 hours behind so in the last 3 weeks I have wasted over 6 hours of my time trying to get blood tests. This was my first time in to get blood drawn. The tech that I got was not very friendly, but I can deal with that. What I can't deal with is the fact that she put on gloves to be hygienic... then proceeded to type on the keyboard and picked up a pen to write a note. Now your gloves are not clean!! Come on! Today I had the discomfort of having to end up at one of the quest labs. I have actually never been treated so poorly in my life by a "medical professional ". She was rude from the beginning of the minute she asked me to come back, to the minute we were done. I thought,..maybe she had a bad day. I was a little confused at the lab work as I have several Dr.s asking for different blood works and they wanted me to be on the medication for at least three weeks to get the levels...so the request was in the computer for a few weeks. This caused her much discomfort,..and let me say anger...not to mention I couldn't spell my Dr.s name right,..he is my new Dr. and he has a new number as well...it would have been easy to look up,.she actually yelled at me. I was embarrassed, I was made to feel like I didn't even want to be there...and I don't want to go back. This place is in Eugene Oregon on Division,..right by my house...it was easy to go there...but now I will have to go somewhere else. I actually asked her is she was ok? She blurted lout I'm fine", which I knew better...because she was sniffing and Obviously not well while she took my blood. Not a good experience at all...not that I expect my blood draw to be a great experience,..but I don't expect to be treated the way I was....i cant even give this a rating because I almost left there while she was berating me....worst treatment ever. read more

Hilyard Street - Incredibly unprofessional. Rude. Unsanitary. I had an appt but when I was called back for my labs I was very rudely told that there were no lab orders and that I should go back into the lobby to call my MD. I called my MD and confirmed labs were sent. I knocked on the lab door, and was brought back and was told my lab orders were in there, the tech just didn't see them. However, I was sent back out into the lobby to wait again because the 2nd tech that called me back was going home. When I was finally called back for the 3rd time, I sat in the chair for over 1/2 hour while the 3rd tech complained to her co-worker about how much work my labs were. Then she had to ask for an alcohol wipe and then she left to go find a needle. What the heck? This is a lab...why wouldn't these things be stocked at your station? The 3rd tech was actually very friendly, just really unprofessional. I hope I never have to go to this lab again. read more
