So many people only take the time to write a bad review...This was one of the easiest processes to get my blood drawn I've ever experienced so far, so I've got to leave my thoughts about it. I had originally came in on a Tuesday and the small lobby was completely packed! So, I came back in the morning, and it was a complete opposite scene. The technician, Nae was very nice and respectful. She made the process quick and as painless as possible. The self check in kiosk is pretty self explanatory as well. I just can't bring myself to rate 5 stars because the facility feels a little outdated, a bit messy, and I couldn't help but cringe as I opened up the urine drop off and it was FILLED with other client's pee cups. Also, there is no signage outside of the building so I drove around the parking lot until I finally realized that it was INSIDE Tom Thumb next to the pharmacy. Overall, I have to admit I would probably return here again to get blood work done because Nae was so good at her job. I am such a big baby when it comes to needles and she made me feel comfortable. read more

We just came in for my younger sister's blood work, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing. The black lady who assisted us was quite rude and seemed irritated when asking questions about the blood test. When she asked what specific test my sister was having, I explained that my mother had completed the paperwork and that I wasn't sure of the exact test, only that it was either related to her iron levels or something recommended by her dermatologist because she is taking Accutane. Instead of helping us clarify the information, she responded with a negative attitude and gave us an uncomfortable look. I understand that healthcare workers can have busy and stressful days, but patients and their families are often nervous as well. A little kindness and professionalism can make a big difference. I hope Quest will remind its staff of the importance of treating patients with courtesy and respect. read more

I am not a fan of diagnostic labs inside grocery stores and generally won't go there or shop at a grocery store with a lab. But, this was the only time I could get a fasting appointment for about 2 weeks in my area. The technician was great and I did like the electronics and check-in process. My first issue was the obvious wet marks on the lab chair where I needed to sit. The technician said that's where she just wiped it down. I still didn't want that on my clothing and it was clear that it was incomplete. Just a cursory swipe with a wet wipe in my opinion. Next, the bathroom where I left a sample is also where we store janitorial supplies, including a mop. There was a sign on a wall that said "eye wash station". And I had to pick up industrial-sized containers to read which one of them was hand soap in order to wash my hands. Finally, there were other people's samples inside the little door where I was directed to leave mine. So it's clearly not being attended well. When I left, I realized I never saw my tech change gloves. I believe she did, but she walked me down a hall, touching door knobs, etc, including the bathroom. All In all, just ick. read more

Keeta should be fired. On top of not wearing gloves while handling the vials and needle until just before poking the needle in my vein, or swabbing my vein area either before or after the blood draw with alcohol, she was rude, short, impatient and sullen, mumbling when she should have been speaking. She should have been speaking in an upbeat, comforting way. Then she got mad and showed her disgust again when she asked me to verify that my name was correct on the labels she was putting on the vials. I said it was misspelled and she scolded me in her mumbling, disgusted way. Apparently it was my fault for not having X-ray vision or telepathy to know that the labels she hadn't shown me yet contained a misspelling. In addition to this, she was coughing all over the lab, and still didn't feel it necessary to disinfect my vein or to wear gloves while handling the equipment. We won't be returning to this Quest. read more

Keeta at the Quest in Flower Mound on Cross Timbers. She was my phlobotomist 2 yrs ago and was professional ,calm and very skilled at blood draws. She goes in like a mosquito . Keeta has been at this location for 4 yrs and there is a clear reason she is still there. She's just that good read more

Took my daughter in for blood work this morning and had a terrible experience with the nurse, Kimberly. She mispronounced my daughter's name, and when I politely corrected her, she dismissed it with a "whatever." She then claimed she didn't have the doctor's order, even after I confirmed with the doctor's office that it had been sent. After more back-and-forth, she suddenly "found" it in the system. I understand people can have bad days, but when working with children, basic kindness and professionalism are a must. This interaction left my daughter and me feeling uncomfortable, and I hope the clinic takes steps to address this. read more

Terrible service. With their new scheduling system, nothing in a reasonable time frame is ever available. The employees there will not do anything to step up to help a customer. I watched a frustrated elderly gentleman, after sitting for 2 1/2 hours, ask an employee for help because his name wasn't being called and she just told him to use their "check yourself in" kiosk again and have a seat and continue to wait. There was no reason not to just be a human and take a couple of minutes to help the gentleman out. I've rarely had a good, smooth experience with Quest, particularly this location and will not go back. read more

Wow!!! All I can say is Thank you Keata!!! You have a gift and talent. I visited another quest earlier in the day and had (3) phlebotomist attempt to draw my blood with no luck. They suggested a reschedule or an alternative location but because of my limited time, I chose to try a different location. Not only was my wait short, but Keata was both professional and efficient. She took her time assessing my arms and with one stick, she was able to collect the numerous tubes of blood I needed. This location is small, so I'd suggest booking an appointment in advance, but wow, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. Ask for Keata when you go, she is Amazing!! read more

Keeta was the most wonderful person I got to work with at 745 Cross Timbers yesterday 1/26/23. Actually just as wonderful was the young lady that helped me get an appointment on a number I found. The regular numbers that Quest puts out go to an automated line that is lengthy and IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THROUGH. I have landed jets on an aircraft carrier in my Naval career and it was easier doing THAT than making an appointment on the automated line. I tried to do it online and same old JUNK. IMPOSSIBLE to find the numbers on my paperwork that my doctors office gave me!! I actually drove to 4001 Long Prairie, with MANY 1 Star Ratings to just show up. The lobby had 15 plus people with NO HELP AT ALL IN THE LOBBY. What a joke!!! I left. Found someone to talk to and found my Angel Keeta at 745. Someone actually stepped out from a blood drawing room to help. I cannot say enough nice things for 745 Cross Timbers!! THANK YOU KEETA. Thanks for the nice hug you gave me after giving blood. This is a small location inside a Tom Thumb. Probably great if you want to do a little Shopping while you wait. And you will be waiting because there is only one tech and she moves slower than molasses. I waited for thirty minutes while she did ONE count it ONE BLOOD DRAW. I strongly urge you to make an appointment- you'll still be waiting but not nearly as long. Or honestly spend the 7 minutes, drive up the road to their other location and be in and out in less than 20 and that's as a walk-in. They need to start paying techs by the person instead of the hour and I bet they would be moving A LOT faster. Never going there again. read more

I have visited Quest Diagnostics at the Tom Thumb location twice. The staff was professional & friendly. The first time my wait was about 5 minutes. The second they were able to take care of me immediately. My doctor called me the next day with the results. I will continue to use this location with this kind of professional service. read more
