Who enjoys going and getting their blood drawn. It's kind of like enjoying a vampire movie. I will say this, I do appreciate a place being able to take your blood and make it as painless as possible. And this quest was definitely one of them. I had an appointment for 12:30. I got there about 15 after and about 12:35 they were able to take me. The whole thing went less than 6 minutes. The lady that took my blood was fun, talkative and enjoyable. I find it amazing how nice people are if you're nice to them first. Anyway, this was a great quest to go to. If I ever need to go to quest again, I absolutely will consider this place to be my stop. Bottom line? Nobody likes to have their their blood drawn, but if you have to have it drawn at a quest laboratories, this would be the one. read more

I've been getting my blood drawn for labs semi-regularly for the last couple years. This Quest is the worst I've been to. It was crowded, difficult to find (inside a hospital) and the staff is clearly stressed. The woman who did my blood draw (a younger woman with glasses and fake lashes, I don't know her name) messed up on my first arm and my vein collapsed. NEVER had that happen before. I'm healthy and vascular, medical staff usually say it's easy to draw from me because of it. I've never had a vein collapse before. She then tried to insinuate that I must be dehydrated when I'd been fasting for 12 hours and had drank three bottles of water since waking, and even walked in to the draw with a bottle of water. She then switched to my second arm to finish the draw. She failed to tape the cotton properly to me after. The tape kept trying to come off and blood was running down my arm as I went to the elevator. I had to use the tape from the first arm (which luckily didn't bleed) to shoddily tape down the other side. About 12 hours later appear, I have small hematomas forming. I'm pissed as hell since this might interrupt my workout schedule. Both my arms are sore and I iced them immediately after getting home. Do NOT go here. Go to any other Quest. I've never had this happen at their other locations around Vegas. Spare yourself. read more

I keep reading some of the bad reviews for this location. It doesn't make sense. Please follow these steps: 1-Get a copy of blood work request from your doctor. 2-Download Quest App 3-Choose a location closer to you 4-Choose a date and time. 5-Complete pre-registration to include insurance info. 6- when you get to Quest, click on a link you will receive by text to let them know you are there. 7- Wait for your name to be called. Give the blood request to the nurse. 8- you are done! This morning I log in the app and made an appointment for today, 1:10pm. I click on the link to let them know I was here, it was exactly 1:10. Lobby was packed. They were busy and a bit behind. I was called by 1:25. I was out by 1:32pm. Technician was friend, funny and great. Sorry I didn't get her name. But she was good and funny! Room 2. This location of Quest Diagnostics can be found in the massive complex on the southwest corner of St. Rose and Eastern. Once you pull in, just find a parking spot in the rather large parking complex on property. Quest Diagnostics is located on the 3rd floor once you enter the main building (#309 more specifically). Just take the elevators to the 3rd floor and go down the left hallway and you will find it on the right side. Once inside you just step up to the kiosks and check in. This was a pretty painless way to check in. Just had to enter some basic info and scan the front and back of your ID and insurance card. After that, you just have a seat and wait. This place was packed for 8 am on a Tuesday morning, so definitely make sure you set up an appointment online beforehand. They were very efficient and friendly at this location. After a 5-10-minute wait, I was called to the back. The phlebotomist was extremely nice and friendly. You can tell your phlebotomist is a pro when you hardly feel anything! In and out and back in my car in less than 20 minutes! Just make sure you (a) make an appointment and (b) have your ID and insurance info! 4 solid stars! read more

I would not recommend the Quest Diagnostics 10001 S. Eastern Ave location. I did give a two star review instead of one star, because the phlebotomists were very friendly. However, my parents went to have their routine bloodwork done, each having a different phlebotomist, and both of them did not take their blood properly. My parents both have big black and blue marks where the needle was inserted, which means the needle was moved, damaging a blood vessel, when drawing their blood. I still do stand by Quest Diagnostics being the best for bloodwork, at the other locations that I, myself, have been to, but the 10001 S. Eastern location, Ste. 309 needs a closer look for qualified, experienced, phlebotomists. read more

I had the worst experience ever! I made an appointment, checked in, and took a picture of the waitlist and walk-ins right after. My name and several others disappeared from the screen. The employees gave excuses and tried to blame it on each complainant. I had already taken a picture before it disappeared. They even had another male seem incompetent and send him away without drawing his blood. I was brought back 45 minutes late, even though I was 12 minutes early. I spent the entire time in the waiting room. After I complained about not getting called back, I was eventually called. I explained my issue to the employee drawing my blood and told them that another woman in the waiting room was also skipped. Her appointment was also for 11:30, so she had to sign in as a walk-in and had to wait until 1:40 p.m. The employee asked me to point out the woman who was skipped. That employee brought her back after I explained what happened to her. This place always seems to have something going on. read more

Took my 2 month here to get labs for her thyroid . Had the worst experience ever ! The skinny lady with long black hair, wears glasses, didn't catch her name. But I will be calling first thing Monday morning !! she sweezed my baby girls foot so tight like it was a stress ball I told her something then she tried to justify it and say that's how it's done and I told her again it's too tight , my babys foot was losing blood circulation the top of her toe was white, her foot was dripping out a lot of blood and yet the phlebotomist was missing it in the collection cup, my husband got involved and told her that she was sweezimg her foot to tight bc he saw how she was trying to justify it to me and she then said to him if he wants to go in the waiting room and we said no we want you to stop this isn't ok. read more

I'm not sure if I just got lucky, but I was nervous going to this location after reading the reviews. They were amazing! I needed a weekend appointment so I didn't miss work. I got there pretty early thinking that there's no way the parking won't be crazy on a Saturday at 11am. Arrived around 10AM & found a parking spot almost right away. I got pulled back about 10 mins before my appointment. The lady was so nice, I let her know I was a little nervous since I hate needles but she was an absolutely angel, talked with me through the blood draw, & made me feel at ease. As expected, this Lab is almost always busy. Highly recommend to have an appointment. On my visit, I did Not have an appointment but I saw that there are available walk-ins wait time. I checked in on the tablet in the waiting area. They have a screen that allows you to see who is up next so thats convenient for estimating how much longer the wait is. There were some confused patients waiting, some felt they were waiting longer than expected. But I saw that when asked, workers there werr able to provide information. The phlebotomist was very kind and you can feel that she cares about her job. She did not rush me, asked clear questions and provided clear instructions and information as well. The office is located on the 3rd floor on Del E Webb Medical Plaza directly across from the Public and Physician Parking garage. The problem with this location is they're in the same spot as the big Dignity Health Hospital so everybody is using the same Public Parking garage.. Monday afternoon and guess what?!? Not one single space available!!! And it is not a parking lot where they're equipped with OPEN space numbers so you have no idea as you kept going up each floor. And technically the top floors are restricted (permit parking) but they're all filled up too! So yes, make sure you allocate an extra 10-15 minutes just for finding a parking spot. Once I made it to the suite (there's no front desk) just a small waiting room area (a dozen or so chairs) with 3 self check-in kiosks. The wait wasn't long (if you have an appointment) so I'm guessing a lot of folks are walk-ins. The process itself took a bit longer (only because the lab tech computer was super slow, or the network or both!) I didn't get to pick which arm based off how the chair is tucked in the corner against the wall so left arm it is! At least she didn't have problem finding my vein (as a few had in the past) As I was exiting, all the chairs were taken in the waiting room and quite a few overflows were standing outside. There's definitely room for more chairs. read more

The office was clean with 2 out of 3 kiosks operable for check in. It was super easy. You will need to have your ID & insurance (if applicable) handy to self scan. There were several people trying to utilize the app to check in and had issues. The staff calling patients back were always willing to answer questions (no one working in lobby - all self service). The phlebotomist was friendly and even asked how my weekend was. Kindness really goes a long way. She was professional and polite. read more

I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Starting with the phlebotomist couldn't find the fax order for the blood draw. Once she finally located it she required all the same information previously provided because she changed pages on her monitor. Her demeanor could not be called anything close to friendly. Perhaps it was a bad day. After 3 days I'm still waiting, as is my doctor's office, for the results. Their website says that it is usually available in 24-72 hours. We 've blown by that range. My wife was at the same lab, same day coincidentally and had similar lab work done. Results posted out the next day. Next time I'll try a different location or Labcorp. read more

I had an appointment at 11:00 am , checked in and it's been 45 minutes and they haven't taken me in. Many people have come and gone and the lobby's not packed and when i voice my concern they keep saying im next and couple more minutes and continue to make me wait. this is incredibly frustrating and in my opinion unprofessional. Hands down the worst Quest location in the valley. Parking is extremely difficult as you'll have to park in their multilevel garage that is shared with the hospital. They are always behind on appointments as well- expect an hour wait even if you had an appointment. The waiting room fills so full that patients stand in the hallway or sit on the floor. read more

I have a condition that requires me to get frequent blood tests. I have used this lab for some time. Many times my blood work has been done by a phlebotomist named Cheyanne. I was treated by her today. I must say that she is so talented at her job. I always want her to take my blood because I can barely tell its even happening. She is quite kind, and a truly good person. The service was not great when I arrived on time for my appointment. I promptly showed up after I checked in with the app. The waiting room was full inside so they made many of us wait in the hallway. I don't mind waiting in the hallway, but if you make us stay out there please give us adequate time when you call our name. I heard my name be called and when I went in there was no one to be found. My name was not on the screen anymore and there is no front desk to speak with someone. The only way to ask someone for help is if they open the door to call another patient's name. I spoke with at least 3 different people to try to get someone to call me back in. It took about 30+ minutes after my appointment time for me to get my blood drawn. I was fasted and did not want to wait any longer because I felt like I was going to pass out. I work in the healthcare field and felt that this was very unprofessional. I understand being short staffed and busy however I just can't imagine what would have happened if someone who walked much slower or someone who could not hear their name from the hallway.. they would have been completely ignored and skipped over for sure. Here's a bit of info on this Quest location: Quest Diagnostics is located outside the hospital in the Del E. Webb building (3rd Floor) that is connected to East side of hospital facing Eastern Ave. Closest parking would be parking garage that also faces Eastern (but it gets full quickly and employee-only parking past the 3rd level). This location is one of the busiest due to walk-in's because of the hospital & Dr offices sending ppl over. It IS one of the few that are open on Saturdays but promptly closes at 1pm. It's based off of appt only, but they DO fit in the walk-ins (just no priority for walk-ins with exception to STAT orders). That's why it gets busy sometimes. The other closest location is the one on Burnham/Flamingo Rd. Quest no longer has receptionist, it's all automated & there is no one to answer phone if u call the specific locations. Most common problem is when you get in the chair only to find that your Dr never sent lab order over? How to combat that prior to appt: hand-carry copy of your Lab Order[s] OR create & review your MyQuest App to see if your Lab Order is in there, OR if you have a copy in your email or on your phone--you can email it to them once you're in there because they need to print it out so they can scan it before drawing you. Also, drink plenty of water atleast 1 day before your visit. Water IS allowed when fasting UNLESS your Dr specifically says to limit fluids. Great medical staff to interact with. Automated appointment system isn't very user friendly as I was on phone picking several options before we were able to pick correct location. Had to use a different zip code to select closest office. Parking situation isn't very handicap friendly as there are a few, but not enough stalls for those with mobility injuries. This includes the parking structure as there were no handicap stalls near elevator and elevator jerks a bit before going up or down. Once inside Del Plaza entrance Television style directory showed we were in the right location. After getting off on the third floor, we made a left and office is located at the end of the hallway on the right. The entrance to this Quest facility is not handicap friendly at all. If you are on a walker, wheelchair, crutches or rely on forearm brace crutches you will need some assistance to open door. There is no staff to greet you when you do come in, only two tablets for check in and you watch for your name on the TV screen along with a wait time. I do have to commend the staff as they will help if someone knocks on the security door with the pin code lock. After my wife's appointment was complete, we exited the building and made our way back to the parking structure. Crossing right outside that entrance/exit can be a bit dangerous as the crosswalk is between two parking spots. We had to wait for speeding cars to pass us as we were afraid to get hit after we appeared from behind a car. THERE IS NO FRONT DESK OR PHONE TO ANSWER ANY QUESTION! PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF DONUTS don't ever go here without an appointment. Even though the sign-in says walk-ins are taken with a wait of 30-60 minutes . . . this is a lie straight from the pit of HELL! I was there 3 hours, then they said they couldn't take care of me that day, I got there at 9am. They are ALWAYS understaffed. In the Quest "Q" system none of their offices have a front desk to ask even the simplest questions (not even a phone)! (Dumb, Dumb, Dumb!) Even if you have an appointment and you have waited, it isn't until then when they verify if they have the blood paperwork from your doctor, and the appointments are backed up by at least 30 minutes. So then the phlebotomist has to slow down and look to find out where the paperwork is. There were several people who said their doctor's office sent the paperwork and the phlebotomist said Well we don't have it. There was one person there who went to Quest THREE times and her doctor verified they sent the paperwork! That means she set up 3 appointments, rode the bus or spent time driving in circles trying to find a parking place all to find out Quest "Q" doesn't have the paperwork. This was a common event! There is always a line going out the door. This is in Seina Dominican hospital; wouldn't you expect to have higher staff in a hospital for labs??? There are people waiting and in serious pain trying to get their test done and they have no clue if their paperwork, to do the tests, are there. The clients don't know it's an issue until they are called back by a phlebotomist (What a waste of time for an expensive phlebotomist). This issue is discussed in front of God and everyone in the waiting room! Where is the dignity and privacy? This Lab is in a "Dignity" Health Hospital . . .what a joke! The system assumes everyone in the world has a cell phone that you will be texted to be called back. I'm sure this QUEST "Q" system works in the perfect world of the Silicon Valley, BUT in the REAL WORLD, people are living human beings with a pulse, a soul, flesh, and blood. WE are not machines! Whoever came up with this human-less system to serve people must have really sold their superiors a load of garbage and is now living on an island somewhere retired. To put people through this system is inhumane. Since this is the only place my insurance has negotiated me to go, I don't have a choice other than to go to another Quest "Q" system. I didn't actually have my blood drawn, but I owe them a review. My doctor mistakenly thought Quest was in network for me (newsflash, they're not) and sent my orders here. Made my appointment easily online, checked in easily, was called back on time... And was informed by the technician that they don't take my insurance. It would've been over $400 out of pocket (!!!!!) so I'm super grateful they actually gave me a heads up instead of just sticking me (pun!) with the bill afterwards.
