I've been here a few times before. One of my experiences was absolutely awful with getting my blood drawn, but that was a couple years ago. I needed to get my glucose test done, so I booked it here anyway. I was able to book it online and book it for an appointment first thing in the morning which was nice because I didn't want to have to fast for too long. For the glucose test, I had to sit in the lobby for a couple hours. I thought it was a bit odd they had me sit in the lobby for it and not in a back room, but it was fine cuz I ended up being okay. The guy that took my blood each time was so nice and friendly. He was great! And did a great job finding my veins. Sometimes that can be hard cuz apparently I have small ones and when I'm fasting it's even harder haha. But he was really nice and encouraging. Probably one of the best experiences I had here which was nice since I had to sit out in the lobby for a couple hours. read more

Going in for blood work is never a fun thing. But it's always nice when a place makes it super easy. LabCorp at this location is definitely one of the ones that make it painless and simple. Fair warning, this place fills up pretty quickly, when I pulled into the parking lot at 6:30, there was already four or five people standing in line. I went in at 6:45 and the line was nine people deep. They're very prompt, and the doors opened right away at 7:00 a.m., and everybody lined up in front of the check-in kiosk. Process went pretty quickly and names were called right away to head back. I think I was seated for no more than 5 minutes before my name was called, they asked for driver's license and insurance card and then gave me a piece of paper and told me to head back. The ladies in the back were very nice and professional. Honestly? This was one of the most painless blood draws I've ever had. She was very skilled and made the process very simple. I had to give a urine sample, as they only have one restroom in the blood draw room. I had to go across the hallway, not a big deal, although I don't like wandering around with a cup of urine in my hand. But I went back in and dropped it into the little white basket and how it was on my way. Bottom line? I don't know about the other LabCorps in the area but this one is at the top of my list. Bonus points. It's in the same medical building as my doctor, so I can kill two birds with one stone when I need to. Need to get blood drawn and are a patient of that facility. I have had nothing but great experiences at this location. They're always nice, I get seen quickly and my lab results are sent to me within a matter of 3 to 5 days. I'm always impressed at how quickly I get the results. Never had a problem. read more

Super fast and efficient. My appointment time was 12:15pm and they called me right at 12:15. 2nd time in a row a Labcorp was $$$$ right on time. I forgot to get the girls name the did my draw... but she was perfect and super professional with and excellent personality. Reason for the 4 stars: I don't like how after you do the urine sample, you just put the cup on the tray outside the bathroom. People walking around could easily tamper. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my urine in the open, unsecured or sealed. All and all... really good place with friendly staff read more

Susan and Lonnie are great! This location is extremely busy, but they get through their waitlist very quickly. We were quoted about an hour but they were ready in 15 minutes. Susan is great at her job. She knows how to make patients comfortable if they're nervous, and helped both my partner and I feel more at ease during our bloodwork. read more

OK, so here's a thing... I recently decided to change my career path and with a lot of new jobs here in Las Vegas you are required to take a preemployment "Whiz Quiz" included with the background check to make sure you are a sound individual. The company that set me up had me go through LabCorp but not all LabCorp's are made the same. What a lot of these tests require is what they call immediate results and out of all the LabCorp in the Las Vegas Valley only three LabCorp have that capability. Unfortunately, that was not told to me upfront so I had gone to one that was not at first and Lord knows if you drink three big ole Hydro flasks of water and then sit around for 15 minutes and then told oh we can't help you here you can imagine the kind of hysteria that could follow. Luckily I showed up to this LabCorp, and because of what happened at the other, they put me to the front of the line and everybody there was very friendly. Thank you very much for the great customer service and I learned something new today that I will probably never need that information again... Lol, but it may help somebody else reading these reviews. By the way Happy Earth day everyone. read more

I'm here on a fairly regular basis to get my bloodwork and labs done. Every time, the receptionists are very polite and helpful, the workers don't have much of a problem finding my veins, and I'm never there for longer than an hour. No complaints from me! read more

I've been to this location several times. Even though you may have an appointment, be prepared to wait, like an hour or more. Once you check in at the kiosk, after about thirty minutes go to the front desk and ask if they have you in the system. They didn't with me. They might get a little upset because you ask, but do it anyway. Normally, all the technicians are super nice. They know people are nervous about getting blood drawn. However, the last time I went in there, that technicians had a full blown attitude. No greeting. Normally, they would ask what arm would you like to use. She didn't do that. She was super aggressive. Almost like she was pissed to be there. She really shouldn't be in that business if she can't proved care for people. I was concerned that she was going to puncture by arm and damage a vein. I couldn't wait to get away from her. I'm giving the place three stars because the other technicians were super nice and gentle. read more

Been here 3x in the past month all for different appts. 1 for me, routine blood work, my son for a pre employment drug screen and my daughter for routine blood work. Although the check in kiosks did not fulfill my check ins, all 3, the ladies up front were pleasant and helpful. My only complaint would be that the lady who assisted for the drug screen was a little short with us when she asked us to complete a form but it wasn't clear if I was to hold on to it until being called or not. (I guess she wanted it once completed) hence the 4 stars but other than that the medical assistants took care of us and the blood being drawn was painless. Ensure you have an appt to lessen your wait time. Morning appts are tough to find especially if you are fasting. read more

You better know where to check-in at. I never go to the Dr. waiting at the desk to check in. They SEE ME but IGNORE me and just continue to call other people up. Walked in at 7:40am today to get some blood work done, knowing it might take a while to be seen. What I noticed was a phenomenal staff integrating both appointment and walk-in patience. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, informative, and didn't sound exasperated at anything at all! You can tell they take care of everyone from how the people were in there. ZERO STARS **THIS IS NOT PEDIATRIC FRIENDLY LAB COLLECTION ** The website is deceiving, don't believe it, nor is it user friendly. I took my sons (ages 6 y/o & 10 y/o) for a simple lab draw, I was not impressed. The staff were aggressive. My 6 y/o had a hard time and broke down, they showed no empathy, compassion, or patience. I understand your office is busy. There are no excuses for the way you treat people. #1. take the time out to reassure your patient before doing anything-- use calm and gentle commands not stern demands. #2. Of course this child of mines was scared, then to make it worse the physical restraints the tech applied while I was holding him could have been better approached. It was firm and demanding continuously saying "YOU CANT DO THAT" rather than "I am going to hold your arm still, it's ok, you're ok." #3. The flow of the blood from the needle to the vacutainer became sluggish. The tech was about to reposition the needle (fish- move the needle around to get a better flow), I warned her not to do that. She became defensive after slightly pulling the needle back stating "I AM NOT FISHING I AM HOLDING IT DOWN" she got caught. If she was just "holding it down" the slight pressure would have been applied to the WINGS of the butler fly needle. #4.After the blood collection the technique used by retracting the butterfly needle was very poor and unskilled. The timing of retracting the needle into the safety and applying pressure were not sequenced. She retracted the needle while applying pressure. This resulted in additional pain. Definitely not going back to this location for any lab services. Nor do I recommend anyone go for any services. Staff are not adequately trained on patient care, bedside manner, or professionalism. read more

Needed to get a vaccine for school so I was referred to come here. I stood at the front desk until someone finally noticed- who informed me that I needed to check in on one of the kiosks. Overall the office is clean and spacious. My phlebotomist, Linda was super cool! She got my vaccine done with the quickness without causing any pain or discomfort. She made sure all of my paperwork was in order and made me feel comfortable from the beginning. It's nice to see such a glowing personality, especially at the end of shift. She clearly loves what she does! The blood draw rooms were clean and organized. The rooms are pretty close to each other, so if you don't want the person next door to hear any patient healthcare information- don't walk so loud. Although it's impossible on their website to schedule an appointment for blood work until at least 3 weeks out, they are a good place, and they open at 7 am, so I just go in very early then as a walk-in and I don't need an appointment- even as a walk-in, wait time is never that long early in the morning and staff is nice enough. Wait isn't long if you have an appointment. They have that new system of online appointment and QR code check in but it wasn't working when I came in this afternoon. My complaint is that they need some retraining in bedside manner and how to have light hands. I've had 6 vials of blood taken from me before without so much pain. I have to go here sometimes for lab work. I usually like to use the lab in my doctor's office. This location is pretty good. It's just slow. It usually takes at least an hour to get in and out. A lot of times they don't have the orders that my other doctor sends over electronically. They seem to have computer problems a lot. Sometimes the check in devices are offline, like my last visit. There's just a lot of inefficiency. The phlebotomists themselves are great! Always friendly and kind and experts at what they do. I am grateful for them. read more

This is the second time I've made an appointment and was asked to wait at least 45 minutes until being seen. On both occasions, I arrived 15 minutes early to each appointment as instructed by Labcorp. Common sense tells me that if you're running behind like that, to reach out to the patient to reschedule. However no such contact was ever made. Unacceptable. Also, you're instructed to leave urine samples on an unattended cart outside the restroom where anyone can tamper with or swap it. Labcorp over charged me to begin with due to an insurance claim then due to my extremely slow paying insurance company Labcorp continued to bill me PAST DUE BILLS and CALLING me NONSTOP! Then, when my Endocrinologist requested more bloodwork However, his in-house girl (who works for Labcorp) Insisted I PAY HER DIRECTLY! She WAS ABOUT TO REFUSE DRAWING MY UNTIL I PAID HER! Very POOR BEHAVIOR AND NO QUALITY OF CARE!!! When my insurance finally did pay the claim of $780 (my portion was $25.) Bottom line, Labcorp put me through hell but I won't ever use them again if do get the choice! Plus if you go online to make an appointment there is never anything available! So I wasn't keen on returning to this Labcorp (last time they made me wait more than 45 minutes despite having an appointment) but my experience was much better on my recent visit. This time I was in and out in about 10 minutes, and staff were equally as competent as last time. For a smooth visit here, my advice is to use the text message system to check-in, and park in the lot to the west of the building (more likely to find empty spaces there) and stay in your car until you get the ready text. It is possible to walk from that lot through the desert garden on the north side of the building (there is a stepping stone walkway) to the north entrance of the building just off Siena Heights; the door to Labcorp is just inside that entrance on the left side. This way, you can avoid having to deal with the waiting room occupancy limit and the lack of sitting area nearby. I hope my recent visit is not an exception and I look forward to upgrading my rating again if so. read more
