I stopped in for a quick urine test required for my nursing program. I attempted to schedule an appointment beforehand, but the system did not give me the option, and no one answered the phone when I called. Because of that, I'm unsure how anyone else was able to schedule appointments to bypass the line. I arrived right at opening and still waited over an hour just to provide a simple urine sample. The experience was extremely frustrating--especially with no receptionist available to speak with. Instead, everything relied on a kiosk that no one could tell was working properly or not. 0 Star - Absolutely Unprofessional and Disrespectful Experience From the moment I walked into this location, it was clear that professionalism was lacking. Check-in is done through a kiosk, with blinds covering the reception desk. When I was finally called back, I was met by a staff member who did not greet me, did not introduce herself, and immediately spoke to me in a cold, dismissive, and condescending manner. There was no eye contact, no explanation of the process--only abrupt, barked instructions. I was treated like an inconvenience rather than a patient. I was there for a urine drug screen required for nursing. I followed every instruction given. Despite this, I was told I had "done something wrong" because I rinsed my hands and would need to wait 45 minutes to an hour. When I asked for a water, I was told I can drink from the bathroom faucet... Bathrooms faucets are highly touched surfaces, aerosol contamination - bathrooms are known for airborne particles from toilets flushing. Not even a Dixie cup was provided for a germ barrier. This is not standard healthcare practice. I was then dismissed back into the lobby without guidance or professionalism. And while I am not above drinking tap water, this is Quest Diagnostics, a multi-billion-dollar healthcare organization. So, I briefly stepped outside to get water from my car (cause shocker water is essential for this test). When I returned, I overheard the same staff member speaking loudly about me to a coworker--completely unprofessional and inappropriate. At that point, I knocked on the door. Told me she will mark me as "refusing the drug test" and that I will be flagged in the system. Simply for going to my car to get a water bottle, that wasn't provided how else was I supposed to accumulate more urine. Sure there is policy but at no point was I told that leaving the building was not allowed. This experience felt condescending & frankly a careless handling of something that directly impacts a patients needed requirements. This individual should not be working in healthcare. If you cannot communicate respectfully or professionally, this is the wrong field. Healthcare requires communication, and basic human decency--none of which were demonstrated here. I do not recommend this location. The staff is rude, dismissive, and careless with people's personal records and livelihoods. After reading other reviews, it's clear this is not an isolated experience. I wish I had read them before coming. This facility needs serious oversight, better training, and improved staffing. One employee can damage the credibility of an entire operation--and unfortunately, that is exactly what happened here. read more

Talk about a god-awful, sterile experience. You go into the lobby, and there is NO RECEPTIONIST. Ever. Just a dumb i-kiosk to interact with that you can schedule appointments on. Can you ask any questions? NO. And we have lots of those to ask when it comes to the business they are in (medical testing). NO CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS are given to you on what you are to do before you have your tests done, and there is nowhere to ask. Their website was not of any help in getting those instructions. Seriously, this place has some serious customer-service issues. Expect multiple visits and rescheduling if this is the first time you are getting a test done. read more

Went to this place for routine blood work. I messaged them a week ahead asking for an email to send my doctor's note requesting the work and to submit my insurance information. No reply other than they got my message. I showed up and was told my doctor's note was insufficient; which I would have liked to know ahead of time. Also no one is at the front desk to assist which would have also saved time. read more

I scheduled a 10 am appt for a blood draw. Woman next to me said she had 10:20 appt but didn't, see her name on signboard. She squawks to tech about her name not up on signboard even tho she had appt. My name and 10 am appt was listed. However tech called 10:20 squawker ahead of my 10 am time. It is now 10:45 and waiting room is overflowing with people waiting. When 10:20 was called ahead of me I protested that I my appt was important also as I had meetings to get to. Tech's excuse was that she was only one working and was running behind. OK but that doesn't mean she can't follow the order of appointments. I'll be looking for somewhere else to do my quarterly blood draw. read more

This place is so insane and screwed up. I needed a drug screening for my job, so I went and was denied because it didn't show I had an appointment even though I had everything saying I did. Fast forward a week, I had (what I thought) was everything. Then was told I needed a bar code for them. My boss had even called the corporate customer service and was told I didn't need a bar code. That as long as I entered my information I was good to go and get it done. The person that was there refused to listen to that, then proceeded to become rude and raising her voice. I told her that I hadn't gotten a barcode and that my boss had talked to corporate of all people who said I didn't need a barcode. Overall, I'll 100% never be using this place again and I truly hope they look at all the staff members and make better choices of who they have working there. read more

Their hours are short and you pretty much have to make an appointment to be seen. That being said, Danyel is amazing! She's knowledgeable, very friendly and thorough. She even called me to follow-up after my appointment on some missing labs. Highly recommend hee, she should be promoted! read more

I arrived at 7am when the location was set to open, but the door was locked and nobody appeared to be inside. They opened and I got in around 7:05, checked in, was taken back at 7:10, confirmed a few personal details, had my blood drawn quickly and without pain, and was out the door at 7:20. Using our background check company Sterling One/Talentwise, an applicant was sent to this location to complete a drug screening. Upon arrival, the woman at the desk told her the "systems were down" and she couldn't perform the test with the electronic passport. She then asked for a chain of custody, to which I provided all the information we have in relation to our account for this drug screening. After nearly an hour and a half and a lot of back and forth, the woman stated that she wasn't going to perform the screening because "things didn't add up". Not only did our applicant and myself be subjected to massive amounts of attitude, we will have to do it again on Monday. Our applicant is doing this for employment purposes and you are hindering that. Shame on you! read more

Incompetent staff or billing department. I am from Wisconsin, receive my care in Wisconsin, insured in Wisconsin and yet they billed my services to Chicago. Obviously denied by my insurance, Quest has yet to correct this despite hours on the phone with insurance and Quest! They have billed this claim incorrectly 3 times!!! My services were rendered in January it is now September.... Get it together Quest!!!! read more

Terrible lab. Long waits, not enough staff, the worst lab I have been too. And I have lived multiple communities.

I came to have basic bloodwork drawn this morning and the technician who drew my blood did not clean off the site before venipuncture. I had looked away after she put the tourniquet on my arm, and was very surprised when she poked me because there was no alcohol prep or any kind of cleansing step before she inserted the needle. The cleansing step of venipuncture is essential and forgetting to do so is unacceptable. read more

My son has to get lab work frequently and this is our first time here. We've been waiting 90 minutes because they told us we can't make an appointment, it's only walk in. Then, as we've been waiting people have been showing up and getting in first because apparently have an appointment. There appears to be one surly staff member working. This place is terrible. Why advertise you accept walk-ins when there is no one there to draw blood? Why allow the nurse to leave the building during business hours? I was the only one in the Lobby and waited 20 minutes before two more people came in. After about 25-30 minutes, the nurse comes in from the outside carrying a shopping bag. Another 15 minutes went by without her helping any of us. I was so frustrated I had to leave. Isn't customer services more important than putting your purchases away? (I could hear drawers opening and closing). This is not the first bad experience I've had here. And it will be the last. I will much rather go out of network than stay in network and be treated so rudely. I was on my lunch hour and needed to get back to work.
