Inhuman dystopian service. The parking lot will be overfilled and you will have to pay 5 dollars to some guy to move a cone so you park there. The building is designed like a maze without clear signage and no one around to ask a question to. The quest waiting room is itself designed to provide the least service at lowest imaginable cost. Walked in for an anti-body testing. There was a line but did not wait long . Signing in system thru their electronic pad. Of course the ones with appointment go first. The associate who helped me was nice, gentle and friendly. It was quick and was told result be released in 2-3 days and my doctor will call me. Clinic location is inside a secured building on a ground floor level. Looking for parking spot will be difficult if coming in normal time. I came during the first hour and during the pandemic time and made it easier . There is a valet service though if in a rush visit time. Across the street is a popular commercial center that maybe a good idea in stopping after the appointment( of course when it is back to normal ). A recommended laboratory testing site. read more

I have been going to this facility for my regular blood works for the past years, so far I have been extremely pleased with their services. I usually get my appointments with them online, very quick and very easy, their website is user friendly. Once I get my appointment they regularly remind me of my appointment through text message. On the day of the appointment they send me a text messages on properly checking in through a link in the message, every step was well thought of for efficiency, safety and ease of having their services. Once I am already in their waiting area I was called immediately, led to a room, took my blood. Due to the efficiency of their system, it just took me a little over five minutes from arriving to leaving my appointment. Staff have always been very friendly, gentle and professional. I am very pleased with the care that I received from the Lake Success Quest and especially with my phlebotomist, Louis A. I get very nervous when going to get my bloodwork done or getting an IV and many times had to leave and come back more hydrated. Louis had such a calm and comforting manner and he assured me that we would get the blood that was needed and before you know it, it was all done. This is the kind of service that you don't get much anymore more nowadays. Pleasant and very fast experience!! Came and left in 10 minutes. Make sure to make an appointment before coming, there is a sign that says no walk-ins. They are located on the lobby level to the right from the security desk. Came here today for a urine test. Parking was a bit hard to find, the parking lot was pretty packed at 12:30pm. Took a couple of rounds before I found a spot. When I went in, there were no other patients inside the waiting area. It's astounding that you can walk into a glass building and head to this Quest office that appears like it's in a close quarter basement. The place is a checkin on the computer when you go in. While that is efficient. The phlebotomist is very bad. I went in with a bit of bruising from an earlier incident from a dye injection so I asked the woman to do the other arm. She says. "Ok. I'll do my best" which I took to mean I will do my best not to bruise you. Which alone sounds honest but a bit alarming. When was it acceptable to have poorly train phlebotomist who don't know how to take blood without missing the vein and letting it bleed to a bruise?..:and so. While I thanked her for her services. I came home to find a large painful bruise where she took the blood under the bandaid. While she was taking my blood. It felt like she was exerting a lot of pressure on my veins to the point I was concerned if she would puncture through it. The office/lab and bathroom are also quite unsanitary and no one was practicing mask wearing in the facility. It left me a bit concerned and uncomfortable at the sanitation and cleanliness of this practice. I'm praying right now. I didn't catch Covid or some respiratory illness. I had to wait over 1.5 hours with an appointment and they tried to skip over me when I was about to be called. You can easily walk in the back and see them and many times they are just sitting around. I had to have my blood drawn and they couldnt figure out which test to do so I had to wait even longer for that. To top it off they had to put a needle in me 2 times because she was unable to find my blood. I recommend going to a different quest or provider. The worst possible care of quality. read more

ZERO STARS. I cannot imagine how a company like this is still around. The lab does not have anyone answering phones. According to the company "they're busy working and dont have time to answer phones". It is clear that this, combined with the fact that they do not have a front desk, is a purposeful attempt at dehumanizing customers. While I waited to simply drop off my sample, I was told repeatedly that they were handling appointments. When no one was in the waiting room, they simply stayed hiding in the back until someone came in, checked in, and then they'd call them instead. All they had to do was take a sample and they refused. When I managed to get someone's attention i asked for new sampling tubes because they clearly were not going to take my sample at this office and mine was going to expire. The woman in charge was so rude, condescending and obnoxious- I'm shocked she is still employed. I have attempted to use them 3 times now and each experience is so much worse than the last. Please PLEASE go to Labcorp- it is located in the same building and the people who work there (theres a front desk! IMAGINE THAT) are kind and considerate. They were amazed at how disgustingly I was treated at Quest. The employees there should not be working with people and I hope no one else has to experience what I went through with them. read more

I can't believe I'm giving Quest five stars. Who'd have thought? I was expecting a mess of a morning, but I arrived as a walk-in at 8am and was out by 8:15am, and it only even took that long because I was chatting my medical assistant, John, up. He was a shining star who made me crack up, talked to me about random things, and found my vein quickly! He's been there for 21 years, so he knows what he's doing. Your doctor gets your test results within three business days, after which you could ask them for a fax of it, or you could get it through Quest directly. Great location, Quest! read more

Don't remember her name and i could care less about her name at this point. We walk in and my mom had put my name under the stupid i pad that's in the wait room for us to sign in but we went in and the lady had told us (with this stupid snippy attitude that is so unprofessional for her profession especially) that she didn't sign my name in when we're legit STARING at my name, and this girl is such an idiot she asked my name and dob when it's shown on the computer for her to copy. Than we were very respectful to her we just asked a few questions and she was so rude about it and she would just take it out on my mother as if she did something wrong to her, i wish we had like 5 more minutes so i could've confronted her because In my 18 years of living I have never and i mean never been disrespected like that at any sort of doctorate occupation, unbelievable. I was there for my blood work to be taken, and usually the person taking your blood would prepare you really well, tell you before when the needle would be put in, well this lady did the opposite and she just proceeded to literally STAB my arm with the needle, I'm seriously not exaggerating tho like she actually did stab my arm. Need to work on patient privacy. Sign in sheet is public, they announce your business to the whole waiting room. Receptionist was taking and making personal calls the whole time. Place is packed with a line to the door. That means there's not enough staff to get the job done. You should be ashamed of this kind of service. I guess I either won't get my labs drawn or I'll pay an urgent care to do it. If you have this volume of business then you can afford more phlebotomists. I have to commend the kind workers on the day I had an appointment at this location. They were so prompt, prepared and pleasant even when my physicians office did not fax over the rx right away . Other locations have not been as patient or kind . Phylicia sincerely helped me ~looking over all my orders and making sure I had everything I needed .The tech who drew the blood also top notch ! Amazingly got it on the first try with no digging around and no pain . I had to make sure to properly thank them for an outstanding job . I've been here a few times and I've always had a pleasant experience. I usually don't have to wait very long and the process is quick. The last time I went with my bf and the lady was very nice. She said that she remembers drawing blood from both of us in the past. This time I came in as a walk in with my dad at 3 even though they close at 3:30 on Wednesday's. I was called within 10 minutes and I was done in 10 mins. I had a different lady this time and she was super nice. I went in for my three hour glucose test and I can't express enough the pleasant experience I had (which is shocking for me to say in regards to getting blood drawn). All staff was friendly and welcoming. Normally getting blood drawn is tough for me bc my veins are not the most accommodating, so I was anxious going in. From the moment I walked in the door, the lady checking people in was warm and friendly. She did not make me feel stupid or annoying for asking questions. Daniel drew my blood four times and despite me thinking that the more he drew the more of a hard time he would have, he did not. His calm disposition and confidence in his work put me at ease. I also appreciated that instead of him continuing to fish around in my arm trying to get the vein to work, he knew when to try a different vein. I've never had that experience. I've always had someone who fished for a bit too long. I don't think I'm able to express how great this experience was. Upon leaving I told him that I wish he could be my personal "blood drawer" bc of how gentle he was. My wife who had kidney transplant patient ,had come to this place for her blood work .We understand that ones with appointment go first but walking in ,there was nobody and when if they could take her, they refused, saying one have to appointment .When we explained that since there was no one and that my wife cannot stand up for long due to her health condition, they refuse to listen.Even the senior manager lady or whoever is in charge of this facility was very rude. The wait time at this place is always horrendous. One person in front me of and I waited 21 minutes while their fancy check in system said only 3 minutes. First off be warned that parking IS a nightmare when you come a certain time. I happened to go for my blood test around noon which happened to be a mistake. They do offer valet. The man was quick and professional. I paid $3 for an hour. The office was clean and packed when I arrived but it seemed like the staff were quick. I have a ward under my care. His doctor had us make an appointment for him to get lab tests in s full diagnostic. The appointment was made 1 week before and it was set up for 11:15 am at 1502 old northern blvd, roslyn, ny. When we arrived, the door was locked and nobody was inside. I had an appointment! How can you NOT be in the lab when an appointment was made. How dare you?! Very poor customer service. Quest Lab in New Hyde Park needs personnel to be trained to offer better customer service attention. In this site, some lab tech are new and don't know their job appropriately especially, they are not familiar about how to enter information in the computer. Patients are not responsible for their lack of training and don't deserve to wait longer because of these issues. read more

I had to get blood work done and I am really scared of needles. I went here even though it is so far away from my house because of the good reviews. This place has ample parking in the garage. The building itself is huge but the quest center is easy to find once you enter the building. Quest diagnostics has a self check in place. It was user friendly and easy to follow. I got to my appointment 1/2 hour early. I didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes. I was called in by john. He was very nice and e planned all of the steps. The best part was when he drew blood I did not feel anything. Literally nothing more than a pinch. The whole process was seamless and the staff here is super friendly. They are very professional, clean, and make you fee comfortable. I will definitely come here next time even though there are many places closer to where I live. Thank you. read more

This is from someone who is terrified of needles and blood work. The women that work here are very nice and make you feel comfortable. If you make an appointment, the longest you'll have to wait is 10 minutes. I have fainted before from getting my blood taken, but this place has never made me feel that way.
