They've actually saved my life at…read moreleast once that I know of, and the average wait time - well today, their front desk staff of one brilliant woman had me in a doctor's office in under 5 minutes, during which time she updated my insurance and was just an all around calm presence while handling what has to be an an incredibly stressful job. The doctor and his medical assistant took remarkable care of me, and frankly may have saved my life again. In any case they provided amazing, compassionate care of the sort that's often all too hard to find elsewhere. I've had similarly amazing, desperately needed care and treatment at other City MDs in New Jersey and all around New York City. You're in the best of hands here. She did my blood draw (literally) in less than a minute. She was so calm and knew exactly how to keep me talking and get my mind completely off what was happening! Only 2 employees showed up for work and my 9 turned into a 9:30. I do not blame staff who did the best they could. Hire more people. Have an incentive. We don't want fishing for veins. Whenever I come here, which is quite often, I have a really bad experience. I have had them correct me and say I only have one lab, and I have to tell them to check again and then oh never mind there are two labs whoops. Multiple times. Also, I use a preferred name instead of my legal name and they have never once used my preferred name, even though it shows up on all my records and shows when I check in. If this place wasn't 2 minutes from my house I would never come back, but unfortunately I have to suffer through. the nurses themselves are all very nice though and the place has a lot shorter waits than other labs i've been to. I just wish the people at the front desk were better at their jobs and cared more about respecting patients.

I had an MRI. Hannah was my technician, she was great. Very reassuring. I was nervous because I'm…read moreclaustrophobic. She helped me to feel better. The machine was not the completely open one, as on the website. However it was larger that a typical MRI scanner. I was in feet first so it was bearable. Had it been head first, I'm not so sure. Be sure to ask which machine you will be having if that's an issue did you. It was very quick. I was in and out in about an hour. I'd go there again if needed.
