Our tech was struggling and was so surprised that my 4 year old wasn't holding completely still. My kid was crying but she wasn't flailing or kicking as she sat in my lap and tried to practice breathing through it. If the tech struggled in that scenario then how does she cope with toddlers and babies who scream and thrash around? Holy cross urgent care has been beyond great help to me during my worse times. I deal with…read moreautoimmune disease along with other chronic conditions, I have a neurologist, a rheumatologist ,an orthopedist and I see them every couple of months. Pain is something that I have sadly gotten used to, I can try to get seen by one of my Dr's but there's always a wait. Luckily I did a quick search and came across this god sent clinic. I've been here about three times within the last year and every time the wait time is less than five minutes, I get set up in an exam room while I wait for the dr. Every time they outdo themselves, they take their time listening to your symptoms to get to the bottom of the problem. They quickly send your medications to your pharmacy and off you go. Since 2015 Ive had to deal with a lot of flares and until I came here, I've had to deal with the constant pain 24/7 during my flares. Thank you, to the entire holy cross urgent care staff, for giving a piece of my life back.

Then hung up on us while my husband was still speaking. Her behavior was completely unacceptable for someone in a patient-facing role. When we called back she proceeded to argue with my husband and said we were being recorded wich my husband then asked to speak to a manager and told them to go back to the recording so they can hear how rude she was. Regardless, I was in and out faster than planned. Parking is extremely easy, literally right in front of the entrance and free. My experience started out rough, the nurse setting my IV up was relatively new and poked me several times. Eventually giving up and calling a more experienced nurse who got it done on first try. The first nurse tried her best and was young so we gotta give her some credit. Once I met the surgery team I was relieved. Definitely eased my nerves. Our conversations made me rest easy as you could tell they were highly experienced with great acumen in the field. Overall everything was pleasant and better than expected. Each of them took the time to listen carefully to my concerns and made me feel genuinely cared for throughout my visit. What impressed me the most was that they did not rush the process despite the high patient volume. They made sure I received the proper evaluation and testing, while also explaining everything clearly so that I could fully understand what was happening and feel confident about the care I was receiving. Their attention, patience, and compassion truly gave me peace of mind. It is clear that this team takes pride in the care they provide and truly values their patients. Nurse Michael Scott, though he did not introduce himself, overheard the conversation and provided his insight. Did I get the information that I needed, yes. If this was a gas station that would be totally acceptable. I am a mother who is concerned for the well-being of her son, scared, deprived of sleep because our regular pediatrician is closed on the weekend. What I expected was the basic, kindness and warmth most doctors give, especially when a child is involved Instead, Nurse Scott was rude, short & condescending. If I knew how to correctly diagnose my son I would not be seeking help from professionals. What might seem to be basic information to you Nurse Scott may not be for the general public- so the snub attitude was unnecessary. Thankfully my son was out of earshot when you started to talk about anal sex and how that could likely be a reason for what I thought was going on with my 4 year old son. Lastly, it's about 9am Sunday June 28th 2026, you all have been open for an hour now. I hope by now you have warmed up and the next patients that come in do not have the same experience that I had. I pray that whatever you saw in us that was undeserving of an introduction of a doctor, understanding, empathy & patience changes.

Getting an appointment to see a dermatologist can take months since they are fully booked. The only thing that I don't like about this location is that you'll have to pay for parking. They take cash or credit at the booth. I arrived a little early thinking I would have to sign some forms but I didn't have to. I parked in their underground parking garage at P1. The suit is still in Suite 315 so the third floor. I waited longer to see the dermatologist still instead of actually talking to her. My appointment was pretty simple since I just needed her to prescribe me the acne cream again. She answered all my questions and give helpful advice.

Venue 4 stars: They share a 3 story building with Facey Medical, a bunch of smaller medical offices and a pharmacy. UCLA Health occupies the entire 3rd floor, which is accessed by elevators. Staff 4 stars: Professional, friendly, efficient and helpful. Services 2 stars: They used to be a full-service one stop destination for a routine medical visit. However, as of recently they have permanently shut down their on-site lab, and now you have to go to a different UCLA location for lab work such as blood count, etc. This essentially doubles your effort for the same outcome! I'd like to quote my fellow Yelper Francis L on this: "It's like if your bagel shop said, we don't carry cream cheese any more, you are gonna have to drive an hour to our sister store to get the cream cheese." :D I am still at a loss why they did this... The lab was always very busy whenever I was there. Appointments 2 stars: Some physicians, usually the better rated ones ;), do not accept new patients. Also, getting a routine appointment can take months. The physician however will usually try to accommodate if you are an existing patient and have an urgent need. They also do Tele-Health. Billing 4 stars: They accept Medicare/Medi-Cal and most PPO insurance plans. The Bottom Line 3 stars: Would have been a 4, but the lack of an on site lab brings it down a notch. Still the most convenient option for me.

This location seems to be under staffed…read more I tried to book an annual physical with my primary doctor and the soonest available appointment was 3 months later. I was finally getting close to that appointment date when I was called and informed the doctor will not be in office on that day. When I called to re-schedule my annual physical, the soonest available appointment with that doctor was not for 4 months! I asked for any doctor at a sooner time and the soonest available was not for 2 months. Also, UCLA Porter Ranch's handling of my insurance is not correct. Verbally by phone, I confirm my insurance with every phone call. I was referred to physical therapy in mid-April 2026. My referral never went to my insurance because UCLA stated on the referral that I do not have any insurance. This prevented me from getting scheduled with physical therapy for a painful and debilitating condition. When I asked how I can voice my concerns, I was told I can be called back but I cannot directly call the clinical manager at a time that works in my schedule. This is the kind of care you can anticipate at the UCLA Porter Ranch location for primary care.
