It was my first time going to a Foundation Laboratory. I like that there was a dedicated parking garage in the back for the entire medical plaza building this is in. Located in suite #104 with a paper sign, it was easy to spot the doorway where this is. Upon entering, there's a small waiting room and a receptionist at the desk. Check-in was simple and I handed her my ID. A good handful of us started coming in the waiting room already. I quickly realized as she told some to wait and walked to the back, that this receptionist was also the phlebotomist! I was surprised when the lady in front of me got taken of so quick. Soon enough, it was my turn and I went to the back. I sat down and was worried because of how busy it just got for her. With no sweat, just pure skill, she got my blood on her first try and was able to draw my blood perfectly. She bandage taped my arm really well and I couldn't stop thanking her. She is a really skilled expert in her craft. The most seamless and easiest blood draw I ever experienced. Not sure why she needed this as she wasn't my employer. She looked about 12 and had a lazy eye. She refused to ask anyone either. All of this should have been communicated before the appt. Pain is something that I have sadly gotten used to, I can try to get seen by one of my Dr's but there's always a wait. Luckily I did a quick search and came across this god sent clinic. I've been here about three times within the last year and every time the wait time is less than five minutes, I get set up in an exam room while I wait for the dr. Every time they outdo themselves, they take their time listening to your symptoms to get to the bottom of the problem. They quickly send your medications to your pharmacy and off you go. Since 2015 Ive had to deal with a lot of flares and until I came here, I've had to deal with the constant pain 24/7 during my flares. She cut my husband off mid-sentence and told him to get to the point while he was asking a question. She answered the question but in a rude manner. Then hung up on us while my husband was still speaking. Her behavior was completely unacceptable for someone in a patient-facing role. When we called back she proceeded to argue with my husband and said we were being recorded wich my husband then asked to speak to a manager and told them to go back to the recording so they can hear how rude she was. Won't be going to this urgent care anymore.

You can do a pre-check-in then just scan the QR code when you are at the place. I went early before my appointment, check in then I was called in no time. I was impressed. The Phlebotomist was friendly and made me comfortable, and the first draw was smooth. Then here comes the catch - she didn't take enough vials for a certain color, so she has to stick me again. Waaa. I told her I didn't want to be probed in the same arm. My right arm isn't good as the left; she called another Phlebotomist to help her. At first no blood came out, so they have to adjust the needle. By looking at it, it makes you not to be probed anymore. It doesn't hurt though. And they were able to get what they needed. This is a good place for a phlebotomist to do their externship. They will enhance their skills. Limited parking. Decent gender-neutral public facility.

He was super friendly, thorough, and clearly explained the treatment plan, wrote my prescription, and gave solid advice on prevention. Before they'd even check my insurance, they tried to hit me with an outrageous fee, no verification, no explanation. Then, without so much as a basic assessment, no vitals, no exam, nothing, staff told me to "go to the hospital," while I could hear them discussing how the doctor wanted to close early. My breathing problem wasn't the priority. Getting me to pay up and getting me out the door was. This isn't a minor inconvenience. Quoting a patient a large fee before even confirming their coverage, then turning them away in respiratory distress without an evaluation so staff could leave early, is a serious failure. Both financially predatory and a failure of basic care. Between the inflated fee and being refused care I came in during business hours for, this feels less like an off day and more like a pattern of putting money and convenience over patients. I would not trust this location with any health need much less emergency.
