I had been dealing with lingering ear pain and after trying to tough it out over the weekend, I finally decided to stop putting off urgent care. I hate crowded waiting rooms, so I booked an appointment online the night before after seeing great reviews and noting the Cedars background. Fyi there's construction on Ventura right now, so drive around to the back and park up the ramp and they do validate! The front desk was so nice and upfront about copays right away. I was called back quickly for vitals, and Dr. Zadorian was great. He was super friendly, thorough, and clearly explained the treatment plan, wrote my prescription, and gave solid advice on prevention. The facility is spotless, professional, and I was in and out in under an hour. Definitely my new go to whenever something comes up. read more

Do not trust this urgent care with a real emergency. I walked in before their own posted closing time, actively short of breath from an asthma flare-up, a condition explicitly listed on their website as something they treat. Before they'd even check my insurance, they tried to hit me with an outrageous fee, no verification, no explanation. Then, without so much as a basic assessment, no vitals, no exam, nothing, staff told me to "go to the hospital," while I could hear them discussing how the doctor wanted to close early. My breathing problem wasn't the priority. Getting me to pay up and getting me out the door was. This isn't a minor inconvenience. Quoting a patient a large fee before even confirming their coverage, then turning them away in respiratory distress without an evaluation so staff could leave early, is a serious failure. Both financially predatory and a failure of basic care. Between the inflated fee and being refused care I came in during business hours for, this feels less like an off day and more like a pattern of putting money and convenience over patients. Dr Zadorian is a rock star!!! I arrived at Elite Urgent Care in Encino on August 26 at around 5 pm in major respiratory distress and quite scared. Not only was Dr Zadorian "SPOT ON" in his medical diagnosis /prognosis, but his bedside manner was also top shelf. He provided outstanding medical treatment which quickly reduced my symptoms and caused them to ultimately resolve. Furthermore, the way he handled/treated me while I was in such distress provided a sense of calm/ relief that is too often lacking in the medical profession. After reading the reviews, I see I'm unfortunately not the first person to have an experience like this here. I came in at 8:15 PM with my 4-year-old daughter who had a deep cut on her chin. Their posted closing time is 9 PM. After waiting without even being acknowledged by the gentleman at the front the doctor told me he was leaving due to a family emergency and to take her to the hospital. Be for real, sir. Of course I know I can take my daughter to the hospital, I chose to come to an urgent care that advertised itself as OPEN until 9 PM. If you're no longer accepting patients, communicate that immediately. We ultimately found another urgent care where her wound was cared for and closed. We went there because we needed an X-ray for my son. He was coughing bad. We walked in and a very nice lady took care of us. They had water and coffee in the waiting room for the patients. The care itself is good, but office staff Jordan and Monse will refuse to help you and unfortunately will insult you on the phone, acting like two very sulky adolescents. Really shocking. My ortho informed me that Elite sent over xrays with no ID info which is a HIPAA violation. When I called Elite from my ortho's office, Monse refused to assist me or find someone to help, became very hostile and hung up. I don't know why she behaved this way. I spoke to Jordan several times to get my X-rays sent to me. He neglected to do it the first time and when I called back he acted very bored and annoyed, with one-word answers and then also hung up. I called Elite again to speak to one of the doctors regarding the x-rays and my experience. I was told by Jordan the doctors almost never come in. Jordan said neither doctor worked anywhere else, which is not true: they work at various other hospitals. I don't know why Jordan lied. Again, very hostile, interrupting, and sarcastic. Additionally, incorrect medication was put on my chart. My chart also stated that I had been warned about symptoms of blood clots, which I was not. Elite tried to sell me crutches and said they aren't covered by Medicare, which is not true. I messaged Eite through their website, stating that I was thinking about filing a complaint with the California Department of Public Health but would like to speak to the doctor first. Dr. Zoharian called me and yelled at me on the phone. I guess this is the culture of Elite. read more

We've trusted them with everything from sports physicals to treating my kids for pneumonia, and now even removing a fishing hook that was deeply embedded in my son's thumb. Yesterday, we were convinced we'd have to spend hours in the ER because of the hook. Then we remembered Elite Urgent Care. They got us in right away, removed the hook, and had us back out the door in less than 30 minutes. It was incredible. One of the owners is a Cedars-Sinai ER physician, and it really shows in the quality of care they provide. The entire team is professional, kind, compassionate, and incredibly efficient. I must say... These guys are the genuine article when it comes to urgent care! I was here last Thursday getting an abcess drained, and these guys did not dissapoint, at all! They used all the right materials, followed all the necessary procedures, and made sure that every last drop of pus was extracted, and provided me the antibiotic treatment that was needed almost instantly. Along with acquiring the items typical of most family-friendly wishlists, my husband inadvertently chose to share the gift that kept on giving with us this year- the FLU. This exceptionally aggressive viral visitor truly made for a memorable start to our holiday season. Realizing that this uninvited guest had no intention of leaving anytime soon, I booked an immediate escape to Elite Urgent Care- and it was truly the best last minute staycation destination. When my two-year-old decided her Saturday morning must-have accessory would be a high fever, I high-tailed it to EUC, and as she tested positive for the FLU, I was positive this was only the beginning of this viral voyage. Elite Urgent Care saw a lot of our family that week, and although kicking off the holiday season at any urgent care isn't exactly ideal, our experience from first front desk phone call to actual physician assessment was exceptional. In addition to treating my girls- they took the time to examine ME- ensuring I had all the resources and meds necessary to expedite my own recovery, enabling me to multitask caring for my flu-infested offspring. Thanks to Dr. Zadorian and the ENTIRE EUC staff, we're all back to 100% and ready to ring in the new year, flu free. Went here on Tuesday & while the staff and Dr. were very kind... they did not test me for anything besides Strep. I went in with the concern that I had strep throat and they did a rapid test and a PCR test which were both negative so the Dr. said oh its just a viral infection that can be treated at home. He told me I can go back to work bc it'll be safe for my staff to come into my office and boy am I glad I worked from home this week. Because guess what? I tested positive for COVID. Again, staff was great, paid parking but at least they have a garage, they saw me quickly, but the quality of care was minimal at best because what if I did go into the office? What if I decided to go out with friends a few days into being sick? Just disappointed that they didn't bother even checking for influenza or covid or anything besides strep. read more

I came here 3 times, once was for my husband. The best urgent care, they have become my new PCP. I trust them. They locate the issue/problem and give you a straight answer. My grandmother even came to them. They have their own X-ray on site, I don't use my insurance card (they never cover anything anyway), I just pay cash. My wife came back from Mexico very sick (probably local virus). We decided to go to Urgent Care instead of ER and opted for Elite office in Encino. This was a great experience - from the front office to medical staff and, of course, Dr. Zadorian. He is the Real Doctor and there are few and far between: very knowledgeable, attentive, extremely detail oriented and completely honest with his evaluation and various outcome scenarios. My wife not only got tested and administered an IV on site, but also was thoroughly examined by Dr. Zadorian who happens to be an expert in Ultrasound diagnostics on top of everything else. Urgent care tends to be an awful experience, and we tolerate it because, well, we're trying to get urgent care. Elite surprised me in every way. The appointment I made? They actually kept it. The staff was not distracted or engaged in chit chat while the patients wait in misery, but were focused on quickly moving patients through. And Dr. Zadorian and his staff were kind, thoughtful, and didn't rush- they did a thorough work up on-site, including bloodwork and ultrasound, and provided plenty of time to ask questions. Booked a 9:30 AM appointment online and arrived early at 9:15. The website showed two doctors on site, so I expected basic reliability. At check-in, I confirmed I'd be seeing a doctor. Only after handing over my ID and insurance and preparing to sign paperwork, I was told: "The doctor has a meeting and won't be available until 11:00 AM." That's a 90-minute delay past a scheduled appointment which is completely unacceptable. Even more concerning, I was told they prioritize walk-ins, despite the fact I had a confirmed appointment and there was a walk-in ahead of me. That completely defeats the purpose of having a scheduling system in the first place. Don't offer appointment times your providers can't honor. Patients rely on those times to make real medical decisions. I chose this location because of a mailer advertising professionalism and courteous service for which that claim did not match reality. I left and went to the ER instead. Avoid if your time-or your health-actually matters. read more

I called ahead because my eye got some dirt or an eyelash inside of it from the Santa Ana winds and Mario(?) was great and gave thorough instructions on how to get here and where to park.
