One of the workers, Joann, at this office was COMPLETELY RUDE. She's yelling at the patients in the lobby, giving dirty looks to everyone, and just making an already painful experience, even more uncomfortable. We misheard her about a question, and then she just screams back as if we did something wrong. Who knows what she does to patients when she's acting like this. Please remove this person from this Quest or any location, she DOES NOT belong in the medical profession and is a safety hazard to patients. Please communicate this to leadership or corporate, clearly i wasn't the only one dealing with this person. read more

I came here on Thursday and I had 11 tubes of blood that had to be drawn. In the middle of the draw my blood just stopped coming out. The phlebotomist freaked out didn't know what to do. She called someone to come and put the torniquete on and she put the needle deeper. Nothing was coming out and then I saw my blood seeping out from another direction everywhere but the tube. It got on my coat, my shoes, her shoes, the floor. I understand things happen but the lack of professionalism was what stuck me. Not sure if she was new but she was obviously shaken. Others came to help clean and she was like "I can't think that tripped me out. It's never happened to me" I'm remaining calm and I reassure her it's fine. She pricks my other arm and after one tube my blood flow stops again. Mind you I have 4 autoimmune diseases and I'm used to 10-13 tubes being drawn every 4-6weeks or so for the past 4 years. I have NEVER had an experience like that not once but TWICE in a row. Obviously she didn't know what she was doing or she was too inexperienced. A quick google search shows that she was supposed to stop and draw blood from a different arm with a brand new needle etc. I don't know how she missed that in school? I won't be returning to this location because I don't really feel like they are properly trained. Even when she called for support from the other staff no one calmed her or explained why that would happen. Save the trip go elsewhere! read more

Make an appointment online at www.questdiagnostics.com at least 24 hours before you go. I went on a Wednesday morning (10am appt, arrived at 9am) and the place was already packed! They only have 9 chairs in the waiting room with 4 chairs outisde also. However, if they call your name, they will not check outside if you are sitting there. So just an FYI! Here's the routine. You come in, you sign your name either appointment or walk in. Sit down and wait to be called. Make sure your paper work is filled out! When they call your name, hand your paper work and your insurance card. You'll be asked to wait again. When you're called for the 2nd time, it's your turn to yet wait again in another area...basically you're in line. They take 3 patients at a time in the back, so try to be cooperative so that your visit will go by smoothly. Some people are frightened of needles, I get that. But let's be adults. Close your eyes, look away, bring an iPod...whatever. If you tantrum, you're going to piss off a lot of people sitting around waiting and probably freaking out at the anticipation of getting their blood drawn. Been here two times so far. Second visit was pretty bad in the means of patient care. Went in for blood work and the first thing the phlebotomist said to me was "I'm late for lunch and I accidentally admitted you in." My first thought was oh shit this lady is in a rush and about to stab me, great. She proceeds getting me set up, and when it came to poking me.... well she was horrible. First, she couldn't find any vein and I could tell she was having a difficult time. She then pretty much pokes me where she thinks a vein is and she gets nothing, takes it back out and starts poking me all over. I finally said OW after her trying 5 times. She finally took out the needle and said "Sorry my minds on lunch! I'll have another nurse take over." Great job miss nurse lady. You're patient care isn't so caring especially when you're laughing in my face about poking the crap out of me. read more

So this is my second time at a Quest Diagnostics location, the first one being the horrible reseda and roscoe one. This location is much much cleaner and professional compared to the roscoe reseda one. I'm giving four stars because the desk ladies are horribly rude, like get a new job if you hate your life so much. I have VERY hard to find veins but RICHARD was ANAZING. He tried different techniques to find a vein and make sure he only had to prick me one time. At the other location, the idiotic nurse couldn't find anything and i FAINTED from her. Richard was so amazing. He was very sweet, understanding, and gentle, I felt the needle but BARELY. Everyone in the reviews said ask for Heena but they said she's out of town, Richard was my nurse and he was so amazing. He's also an ICU nurse. If you want a good experience ask for Richard and do not have any conversation with the idiotic people who work the front desk. read more

This place gets worse every time I go in to give blood. A month ago I went in to give blood as I walk in one of the employees (I believe her name is Liza) is yelling at an old lady who is blind telling her to get out of the waiting room. The employee comes back after couple minutes and starts yelling at her again telling her to leave. Today I go in to give blood again. One of the employee's opens the door to ask me if I have an appointment. I was 10 minutes early so she tells me to wait outside when the waiting room is totally empty not one person. She comes back in 5 minutes tells me to check in. I checked in and waited about 5 minutes to be taken inside. The lady that took my blood told me that quest is trying something new with this appointment thing. The first thing Quest should do is terminate every single employee and hire new people that are happy to work. I have been going to this location for about 15 years. read more

Tamara F. and the overweight african american woman (whom refused to give me their names) refused to service me as a walk-in at this location, even tho i was told by a representative i could show up as a walk-in before 4:00pm. They continued to brush me off while i pleaded to be helped while in a waiting room with only two patients waiting. Their reason for not servicing me was because i didnt have an appointment and they wanted to go home. I explained that over the phone a quest diagnostic representative said i didnt need an appointment but the technicians continued to brush me off. I HAVE PROOF of my arrival at 3:55 pm because i took an Uber. Yet they didn't care and wanted me gone because i didnt get the chance to check in on the touch screens; the reasoning being it was my first time getting tests done and didnt know i had to check in because there was no Clerk in the waiting room for me to get assistance from. I continued to stand there till finally a technician came out at 4:05. They get off work at 4:30, keep in mind all this happened before they closed, i literally stayed from 3:55 to 4:30 hoping they'd service me but no. I asked for a refund because i wasn't being helped and they said they don't do that there and then Tamara F, proceeded to NOT give me any resources and even COVERED HER NAME TAG WHEN I ASKED HER NAME AND I HAVE VIDEO PROOF OF TAMARA REFUSING TO GIVE ME THEIR NAMES. Tamara is a person that any business would love to have but thanks to God we have Tamara. Tamara loves her job and it shows but most of all she cares about her patients. Parking is street parking or private (I don't know how much it is per hour) but you do have to pay I think. It's in a medical building with lots of drs offices. Inefficient and lacking in customer service skills. Customer service skills means representatives are professional, and can communicate effectively. I signed-in around 8:30, The monitor showed I was 8th. By 9:55, 25 minutes later, my husband asked why they haven't called me yet when it was already 10 mins past the time of my appointment. My appointment was for 8:45 Kendra (the name I heard her say) was obviously as irritated, arrogantly defending her lack of organizational skills. She's either incompetent or just being prejudiced, choosing who she prefers to call in next whether or not they have an appointment or just walk-ins. What a joke! I had setup an appointment via their website. Very quick and easy to do. They sent me a confirmation email, with a QR code attached. I walked in today and checked in using their Check-In tablet. Within the options of signing in, it specified using the QR code. After doing so, I sat down, in a room filled with other potential patients. Within a matter of 5 minutes, a phlebotomist entered the waiting room and called me in. She was kind and courteous. She informed me of every step of her duties, and within a couple minutes, she completed the necessary work-order and sent me on my way. I will definitely come back again, if my doctor needs more lab samples. read more

They are now located on the 3rd floor, get there early and beat the rush!!! The new office is clean, has plenty of chairs, they are very efficient get you in and out. The only bad part is that I had an appointment but it really didnt make a difference because they took me according to the sign in, my appoinment was for 845am and I was seen at 855, not bad but if you have an appointment, appointments should be priority. I came here at 1pm on Friday with no appointment, I got out at 1.05 pm. 5 minutes done??! So fast blood drawn!!!! I also got no bruise. Very professional. First off I'm only rating this location in Mission Hills. very bad! Make sure to avoid! On 5/13/2019 my father did a blood test to check for many things including triglycerides. It came out to be 813mg/dL which mean it is very high ( normal is less than 150) based on that the primary care doctor put him on so many medications. A month later my father went to Quest diagnostics in north Hollywood and his triglycerides had went down to 444mg/dL. Then he went back again just recently to Quest Diagnostics the one in mission Hills and GUESS WHAT?! his triglycerides went up to 971mg/dal within less than a month? This just tells you how bad the techs are and how messed up their results are! If you don't do your results correct how is the doctor and the patient is supposed to know this is the correct lab results and of the lab results are incorrect the patient will be taking extra medications that will probably affect them in a very bad way! Do your labs correct. The primary care doctor has been noticed and will proceed with the right procedures with getting the staff In trouble to whoever ran the test wrong!!! read more

They only get one star because there's no option not to give any. This is by far the worst quest lab in existence. Employees here obviously hate their jobs by the attitudes they have. No smiles, no greetings, unpleasant, take forever to assist you and make you feel as if you're ruining their day by being there. If you must have lab work done or need to drop labs off, choose the quest on roscoe or even drive to Santa Clarita. The drive will be worth it. When you get there, you are supposed to sign in through an iPad, but the signs to do so are not labeled properly to direct people to do so. I was able to figure it out as there was no one in the front to answer any questions or help. While waiting, you notice some people go in before you even when they came after you. I was told that it is because they made appointments. Fine, but I waited a long time and while waiting I saw two elder folks get help, but they were not nice to them and they were treated as if they were annoyed by having to help them figure out the iPad situation. Just left and was very disappointed with the staff. They were ill equipped to deal with my two year old nephew. They caused one vein to collapse. When asked if they had another location better suited to deal with the needs of children the male staff wouldn't acknowledge my question. I'm concerned that due to the location the staff is not as professional as I'm accustomed to. It felt as though the English language barrier for staff was very apparent. I came here for a biometric screening. It's for an insurance premium adjustment for my medical insurance. I came last year and again today. I'm not familiar with what Quest Diagnostics really is. I don't know why else anyone would come here if not for the same reason I did. The parking situation is really just weird. It's underground. I was there for 30 minutes. It was 75 cents. The facility looks clean and modern. The guy who did my height/weight/BP/blood draw was very nice & professional. My appointment was @ 9am. I got there at 8:40am and there were several people in the waiting room. I was taken in about 8:50am. No complaints. read more

I was requested by my OB to get bloodwork done here on 02/04/20. There was nobody at the front desk, you have to check in on a tablet. Line to check in was long due to elderly people not being able to figure out how to use the tablet, which I actually helped people to do so since nobody even offered to help. Waited for over an hour to have my blood drawn. Now let me tell you why I'm rating this place just 1 star. Being pregnant and fasting is horrible I did not get seen until almost 10:30am and when it was time to draw my blood the lady who drew my blood from the front desk area told me to walk in and go to room 5 (So didn't even bother to walk out to the waiting room to call me in). There she didn't even bother to look at my veins in my arms, she just asked for my right arm didn't even clean the area that well and just inserted the needle right away, she moved the needle around a couple of times sideways and deep into my arm until blood finally came out. Which by the way hurt so bad. I am a person whom can tolerate pain and this has never happened to me while drawing blood. I'm pretty sure she hurt a nerve. I even screamed from the pain. Until she was done she asked if the pain was okay. 2 days later and every time I stretch my arm I feel pins in my arm and the bruising is horrible. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I highly don't recommend this location. Company should be more caring of whom they hire given that they are liable over their employees malpractices/neglect. read more

But Sveta got me on the first try! Took 6 big tubes of blood out with no bruising! I will be asking for her every time I come back. read more
