If I can give this place 0 stars I would! I took my 4 year old to get blood drawn today and as expected my son was crying. The nurse drawing the blood started screaming at him "THERE! THERE! THERE!". Gladys!!! You are the best phlebotomist I have ever had!!! She is very patient and rook the time to find my veins (which are insanely hard to find) *bless her* omg However, came back after 2pm for 2nd part of lab work and Sonia helped me...lord, help her because she is the worst. She threw the viles AT ME. Who does that?! I wasn't rude. I didnt even say anything when she did that. All i did was laugh it off. Afterwards, before even finding my vein she poked me already and was pulling the needle in and out & in and out. It was the WORST experience ever. Quest, you guys have to do something about her. I actually was surprised with the bad reviews I had a good experience here. I went in and I forgot to read the paper on the door so was sent out. They took my temperature and asked if I had an appointment (if you don't have an appointment they won't see you because of covid so make one) it was really nice in there. Then 5 minutes later they called me in did my lab work in like 5 minutes and I was out in like 10 minutes from my appointment time. read more

Aren't businesses suppose to close at their posted times? Well this place doesn't know the meaning because I showed up 10 min before closing and the door was locked. I could see that their lights were on and I heard movement so I knocked and no one came to the door. It says walk-ins welcome...obviously not. This is the absolutely the WORST place. My mom is 86 years old And they have lost her lab results two times in a row now. My mom is now refusing to have blood work done. And their customer service is horrible. When you check-in they utilize the machine to check you in and if you are having problems that they can obviously see from sitting in the front desk they don't ask to assist you. This place should be closed down. I had to give this place one star to be able to post this review. It gets Zero stars. read more

I have to say, after reading some pretty unflattering reviews about the Quest labs in this area, I picked the lesser of several evils and chose the Montebello location that only had negative reviews regarding wait times instead of terribly rude staff and pictures of horribly bruised skin that the other near by locations sported. I made a very earlier week day appointment like someone here recommended and hoped to be in and out within a few hours. I was so, so pleasantly surprised! Even on a Tuesday at 8am there was a full waiting room. But they honored my appointment and had me seen within 15 mins of arrival. I was done completely and on my way in a half hour! I'm not sure if I just got lucky and no one else in the crowded room had an appointment but it was really nice to be in an out so efficiently. Today I had to go again but couldn't manage my schedule around a AM appointment so I settled for a 3pm appointment and was again dreading the warned about afternoon crowds. I walked in and was the only one there! They had me in and out in 5 MINUTES! I really love this place. Most of the staff is very warm and friendly. The woman who took my blood the first time (who was also there today) was a little curt and cold but, hey, she got the job done and that's really the most I could hope for with such a busy business. That's probably how she manages to get through patients so quickly. Cant hold that against her! Would HIGHLY recommend this place, even if the alternatives weren't as awful as they are. read more

I went at 8am for a 3 hr blood glucose test. Not something I was looking forward to. I walked in and the place was completely packed. It was dead of winter and people were coughing and sneezing, not good in a packed house. The staff was very friendly and made my experience a good one (not easy to do when your first impression of a place is to turn around and walk out). I was feeling a little weak from not eating (you must fast before your glucose test) so I got a private room to read and relax while they kept an eye on my glucose levels. One of the friendly workers recognized my name and said she knew my parents. Small world. I can't 100% say that I would recommend this location, because it is soooo busy (maybe due to the fact that it's across from Beverly hospital), but if you do have to go it's not a bad place to end up. read more

Yesterday I made a same day, online appointment to have a blood test at Quest Diagnostics in Montebello. I was cheerfully greeted by Sonia, who was very helpful getting me checked in. My wait time was surprisingly about one minute and then Laura, the phlebotomist, gently guided me to room 6, drew my blood and even gave me a special purple band aid. I was in and out of Quest Diagnostics in about 10 minutes. I was amazed. This is now my go-to lab. read more

The women were very rude. The one at the front clearly had an attitude and a stink face. She also yelled at me from across the room instead of calling me over. The lady that took my blood was also rude, and seemed annoyed from the get go. She had me raised my arm the entire time, which is difficult for me to do given my disease, and berated me every time my arm dropped a little. I've never had to do that with home health care or the other location I usually visit, so I do t understand why it had to be done that way. I wouldn't recommend this place, and definitely won't go back. The only positive I can say is that it was clean, and next to a CVS. read more

Worse Service EVER! Made me sign in just to drop off. Waited 30 mins. And not one single person was called. There was no one in the Front Desk. They were all in the back talking, and when someone will come to the front desk they would ignore them and ask "Did you sign in?, then we will call you when it's your turn. I was here today. I had an appointment . Apparently so did most of the others in the small room. It is apparent that it doesn't matter if you have an appointment or not as it's first come first served. After about 30 minutes of waiting I left. Will try again but this business is only about the bottom lime. Give them a call and try to speak to a person. Good luck. Hiring people for customer service impedes on the bottom line as you only get a computer. I'm going to complain to my doctor and insurance company to see about some other way to get lab work. read more

Made an appointment, showed up staff is on the phone and not helpful. The waiting room was packed with people and they were taking in patients at an extremely slow pace. The receptionist finally talks to me just to say they don't perform that lab service at that facility and to go to the one in San Gabriel. When I asked her to call the San Gabriel office to honor the on-line appointment I made they refused, by saying that they didn't make a call for the 4 other people who had come in that week with an appointment for the same test. I ended up going to the San Gabriel office which was much more efficient. If you have a choice do not go to the Montebello office, go to the San Gabriel office. read more

Why bother making an appointment when the labs cant keep up with my appointment. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment and yet so late to call me. And for HIPAA complaince stop calling out people's name out loud. Use number as people sign in. read more

Horrible customer service. I had an appointment, called 3 times as i sat in traffic to let them know due to traffic I would be 5 minutes late. When i got to office, receptionist did not even want to look at my paperwork which showed i had an appointment. I tried to tell her i called but she never looked up. Im sitting here in waiting room realizing an appointment means nothing. I will switch insurance carriers to work with a company that has customer service. read more
