It can be busy, so you need to get a number and wait your turn. I went this week (11/12/2025) and it was fairly quiet, but as I was leaving many people were lining up. The people come in waves according to the workers. The phlebotomist who was there when I went was very good. I barely felt the needle poke me. Parking can be a challenge. The parking lot is small, so you may have to park on the street, but make sure you read the parking signs. Xie Xie!

You are the experience!! 5 Difficult Blood Draw Solutions | Montes HealthCare College You must take the tourniquet off after the needle is in the vein and blood flow is established, ideally right as the first tube starts to fill or within one minute, and definitely before you pull the needle out to prevent sample contamination (hemoconcentration) and patient discomfort/bruising, releasing it before final needle removal. Leaving it on too long (over 2 mins) can damage tissues, nerves, and alter test values, causing issues like bruising, pain, nerve damage, or tissue death (ischemia/necrosis) in extreme, prolonged cases. I felt BAD for the older lady that was getting poke over 5times I will report this clinic they need to be healed accountable especially after I told the Asian guy drawing blood why he kept the turn the tourniquet on if the blood flow was already existing!! And had the nerve to tell me I need to drink more water!!!

There was 1 odd experience where the front desk staff asked me to pay $10 cash (no one else was there) for my blood draw, when I NEVER paid before or after that 1 scenario. My insurance didn't change either so it seemed a bit weird... The staff that draws blood are usually kind, patient (even if there's a lot of people) and are efficient. After visiting almost weekly, I found that arriving between 2:30-3:30pm was optimal because there's no one there and you're usually seen immediately

But this place will exceed your expectations. It's very clean and well kept when you walk the hallways. The residents are taken care of well and you can see them walking and visiting each other. I was happy to see so many residents smiling as well as staff members interacting so much. My mom has gotten great care here and they always keep me in the loop of any changes in her health. They call me right away if anything urgent happens. My mom has been very stable and very well taken care of here.
