The employees worked both the front desk and performed the lab work so it was very inefficient. When you arrive, you check in at one of the kiosks by the door. Later on, they call you to the front desk to either provide your paperwork or pull it up in their records. I had to have blood drawn several times in one visit. At my doctor's office, they never have an issue, but here, they had to try multiple times to find a vein, sticking me repeatedly. They ended up drawing from my hand, rather than my arm, which I've never experienced before. I had to have the blood drawn at regular hour long intervals. They did not keep track of the time, and I had to set my own timer and inform them when I was due for another draw. Even then, I had to wait several minutes until they were able to call me in again, so there was no precision. The employees were friendly and doing their best, but more staff are definitely needed here. They technically take walk-ins, but you will surely have a long wait. Even those with appointments were often not seen on time. The waiting area did not have enough seats for everyone, so some folks had to stand as it got crowded. The logistics here are just not reassuring for something as serious as medical testing.

The first guy I met wasn't particularly friendly nor welcoming, which from the start didn't make me feel comfortable as a patient here. They have a peculiar policy where if you're under a certain insurance plan (that they take) they force you to change your PCP to someone they issue per "clinic policy." I've never encountered a practice like this that is so adamant on having you switch your PCP to someone you might've never met or even heard of and then provide proof. It was off putting and they could not explain why this policy exists. I couldn't tell if it was for billing reasons, or something else. Because I really wanted to get seen by one of their specialists, I reluctantly did it. Like another reviewer mentioned, some of the walls don't go all the way so noise and sound will transfer from room to room. Not horrible as a patient you're generally in a four walled room, but still a little uncomfortable. You come out and have to pass some of the administrative staffs backs doing their work. The space itself is hip, trendy, and modern. It definitely feels a little too profit forward at times when you see the price catalogue of certain treatments and their costs, like you're ordering a flu shot off a menu or something, which personally feels a little bizarre. Since Dr. Mbaye is leaving, it's unlikely that I'll return.

FYI…read more- There is a parking garage right across the street from the center, we parked about a block away. We were greeted promptly, filled out some forms and waited for about 20 minutes. The office staff is very professional and accommodating, there was another patient there who was very anxious and they were so caring with her and her family. Once my husband was taken for his test, the nurse came back to tell me he was getting prepped and the test would take about an hour and a half. The waiting room is well equipped to anticipate family members needs, they have adult coloring sheets along with kids coloring sheets too! I was tempted to start coloring. They have IPads to borrow while waiting. They also had a charging deck and chargers (that I definitely needed) The nurse came back halfway through his test to give me an update as well. Overall this is a great imaging center, hopefully we never have to return.
