Came if for an appointment I had made through Function which was to include about 12 -14 vials of blood and urine. Since I drank plenty of water in preparation, I really had to use the bathroom. When I asked I was told that there is no bathroom to use. I asked what about the urine test? She said that she could give me a cup with a cover then take it over to the stop and shop then bring it back! Pretty outrageous I would say. Don't go there guys. Worst lab ever. Very unprofessional. No one take the responsibility for their work. They don't care about the patients. If you are little late, they will cancel the appointment and if they can't manage their time you will have to wait over an hour. read more

I have been getting blood drawn for 15 plus years. I have learned by experience that I require a (butterfly needle) That my right arm is the best arm to do that in. On December 12th 2018 I went to Quest in Peekskill shopping center. When I spoke Phlebotomists and explained that is what I require. She said, "I will determine what you need." I said, then I will refuse service. She then capitulated to a butterfly need but in the wrong arm. while the needle was inserted she moved it around to get too vain leaving the bruise in the picture below. I had given her a copy of my Perscription from my Doctor which was good for 6 months yesterday I went back for my next draw I had brought the photo I took so I maybe they would listen and be more careful. When I told the new Phlebotomists the issue. She said I needed to report it to Quest since Quest had heard the complaints had received many complaints had moved the original Phlebotomists to a new location. To add insult to injury they had not put my prescription correctly into their system. So I could not get lab work done that morning. Which is fun since one test is a fasting testing. read more

I am reviewing quest diagnostics in peekskill New York at the beach shopping center. Contacting the center directly they immediately bounce you to their website. I think they must be having problems with their servers due to volume or poor management because it kept bouncing me to covid testing which is not what I require. My doctor called in a simple lab test and they have been unable to book an appointment for me. Very sloppy and unimpressive. Do I want them handling my lab samples? Are they reliable? Just so many issues. Before going into many of them... I will say that the phlebotomist was able to get my vein after minimal fishing. No complaints there. I waited almost two hours for my FASTING labs to be drawn. They did have two phlebotomists working there, but (when I was in the drawing room), the other one was on the phone speaking about the protein shake she was drinking. I assumed that after I checked in on the iPad, that after receiving the link to register, that it would save time if I did. So I typed in all my information, as well as insurance information.... but the phlebotomist has to type in all in anyway. ******* WHERE IS THE SINK for the phlebotomists to wash their hands????????? There's no Purell (or equivalent)!!!!!!!!!!!! Thankfully I know what I'm doing... I had to tell which labs should be drawn as she was unable to figure out what to draw (the prescription was TYPED). It was hot out. An older gentleman was very uncomfortable sitting in the waiting room..... there was NOOO Air conditioning! When the gentleman asked the phlebotomist why it was so hot in there, she blew it off, letting us all know it had been broken for days. It's frustrating that there is no front desk with even one person to talk to (instead of the iPad). I understand why it's there tho. However, you should be REQUIRED to walk out of the drawing room to go get your next patient. While I was there, there were about 10 people in the waiting room and you would hear the phlebotomist yelling out a name into the waiting room. Crazy. I needed a prolactin drawn. She spent a good 10 minutes on google trying to find another name for it as her system didn't have it. And ONCE again, let's review... when was the last time she cleaned her hands in anyway???? GROSSSS!!!!!!! Never again Quest. That makes me sad, as I used to have labs with Quest so many years ago... but it seems things have gone massively downhill. read more
