Was forced to select one star to create a review however the experience doesn't deserve that…read more Upon entering this establishment the door slams behind you creating a jarring welcome which startles each person who enters. There are no human staff to assist clients. The waiting room has an automated check-in kiosk and TV with a Quest video on constant repeat. Cleanliness is not what one would expect for a medical testing business. My first human experience was a dreadful encounter with the caustic and impatient Tiffany G. This employee wins the honor of being the most unhelpful and dismissive person, in a customer-facing position, I've ever encountered globally. That says a lot given that I've spent a lifetime traveling the world. Tiffany has no interest in assisting a first time visitor. Instead of being welcoming and helpful, one feels the immediate verbal abuse and shaming. "You people need to come here prepared." followed by "You needed to be prepared." At the end of the procedure, instead of answering a simple question regarding the verification of both vial ID numbers a question is hurled back "Didn't you hear me to check the number on the vial?" Be warned: if you arrive without already knowing exactly where to find your Q number, you may be sidelined and made to feel like a burden rather than a patient. Questions are met with irritation, not answers, and the entire process is handled in a way that is unnecessarily stressful and demeaning. It's remarkable--and unacceptable--that the routine procedure of peeing into a cup, for a pre-employment drug test, could be turned into such an unpleasant ordeal. Don't expect customer service at the Herndon Quest location. After this experience, if I am ever required to patronize Quest Diagnostics I will travel to another location.

Whatever, I knew the risks of choosing to walk in, but they should really just not allow walk in's. After scheduling an appointment and returning later, I still waited in the lobby for an entire hour past my scheduled appointment time. People have jobs, lives, things to do. It is incredibly unprofessional to keep accepting appointments when they are incapable of accommodating them. I would avoid this location if at all possible.

Id give zero stars if I could, settled on two because the second last was kind and got the job done…read morewithin two minutes. But this place consistently have rude employees at the front. Had to drop off something from the previous visit. The young worker with glasses and braces said it wasn't in the system and had to be emailed. Which i had to go through my online portal to find the order my doctor had sent to them. Also berated me about their system check in which ask questions about visits. However i reiterated I'm not here for a visit I'm just dropping said bag off. She then told me to wait. Another person comes to the desk and calls my name minutes later, proceeds to look at my records in her system and immediately print the lab order and say thanks that's all. There are some rude and incompetent people in the world. But if you're going to work in a field dealing with people and a company's computer system you should know how to review charts and be somewhat kind atleast.

Do NOT bring your child here. What should have been a simple…read moreblood draw for my baby turned into a traumatic experience due to clear incompetence. The first tech wasn't trained or confident enough to draw blood. The second tech, Ashley, was rough and poked my baby for an extended time--still failing to collect enough, then claiming the sample was insufficient and discarding it without our consent. When we spoke to the supervisor, Erika, she was rude, dismissive, and wouldn't let us explain. She wrongly assumed this was an immigration‑related test and treated us accordingly, which was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. We had to fight to have the sample sent, and surprise--it met minimum requirements and we got results the next day. If we hadn't stood our ground, our baby would have gone through another unnecessary blood draw. Poorly trained staff, rough handling of an infant, and an arrogant supervisor. Terrible experience. Avoid at all costs.

This phlebotomist mishandled my blood samples. Twice…read more The first time, they didn't get it to FedEx on time, rendering the sample - which required 24-48 hour delivery- no longer viable. The testing lab received the sample eight days after the blood draw. Phlebotomist blamed FedEx. Not having the tracking ticket, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Second time, I kept and followed the tracking closely. They did not deliver sample to FedEx until 35 hours after the collection, again making delivery to the lab in CA later than the 24-48 hour requirement. They then lied to me about it repeatedly both on the phone and in writing and, again, blamed FedEx. In my experience, this phlebotomist did not maintain high ethical standards, leading me to doubt that the sample she sent to the lab had been collected and processed in a professional and ethical manner. I cancelled the test and had it redone at my own expense. StatLab delayed my diagnosis and interrupted my health care as well as costing me time and energy at a time when I am unwell and limited by illness.
