Went to Quest this morning for my scheduled appointment to have my blood work done for the order my doctor sent . Had a very good experience, Alex was a great stick , didnt feel a thing . And was very kind , and personable . I told him I was looking for a new primary care physician and if he knew of anyone , he recommended a few that I will be looking into. I made an appointment ahead of time online and had no issues being seen at the time of my appointment. Keep in mind they get booked up really fast and you might need to schedule a week or two in advance for a specific time frame. The waiting room is small. The guy next to me thought he was a "walk in" but the nurse told him he was actually "stand by" and not guaranteed a spot unless someone no showed or cancelled their appointment- so that's good to know. When I told the nurse I'm nervous around needles her countenance became softer and she engaged in conversation to keep me distracted. I drove an hour each way fasted for 12 hours to give my blood because my doctor needs it ASAP to rule out a possible tumor, as well as a second test to confirm the first test so the insurance company will grant me access to treatment. I had an appointment at 2pm and I waited a half hour that's ok, but than this incompetent man calls me back I am ready to give blood and pick up my 24hour HIAA urine jug this will be my 3rd time doing this test because quest keeps giving me the wrong jugs and the wrong instructions and this man proceeds to do just that again, told me don't worry about the 24 hour part that doesn't matter! and I told him the jug was not the correct jug and could I get 2 because I pee a whole lot and used 2 jugs both of the last times I took this test!!!! so again he was basically willing to allow me to not get the correct reading off this test for the 3rd time and 3 separate quests later 2 doing it wrong and 1 got it right we are trying to rule out cancer!! this is no joking matter. ONTOP OF THIS THE IDIOT WOULD NOT TALE MY BLOOD WHILR I WAS THERE AND FASTED READY TO GO!! because according to him the results would be skewed because all the labs were not done at exactly the same time!!! what a fucking joke this process is getting old and who needs this stress when you are already suffering enough. I had a very good experience here. I was skeptical due to all of the negative reviews but my experience was the opposite. I made an appointment online for 8:40am. I was on time, check in was easy with my QR code, nobody was in the waiting room and I was in and out in 5 minutes. The tech was also friendly and asked me if I was ok during the blood draw, told me happy holidays etc.... Have been 2 times now and yet to be seen. First time checked in, waited about an hour and remembered it said I could wait in the car and they'd call. So that's what I did. about 2pm, couple hours later, no call, so I go back in. Told I left and they were understaffed and wouldn't see me. lady was very rude to everyone in the waiting area, that she kicked out. Discouraged but not unhappy, things happen. I returned next day about 2 pm, to do drug test, different lady came out said the don't do drug test after 2pm. come back tomorrow. So i go inside to check in at the un manned kiosk. The computer tells me i am too late now for my appointment and that no appointments are available. Evidently there is a timeframe to sign in for an apointment but Quest didnt tell anyone about that either. I try to sign in as a walk in patient and the computer tells me that no walk in appointments are available either. i finally see a technician and she says she will try and "fit" me in. I waited as long as i could stand and finally left. Not only is the company poorly run, the communication is terrible and the staff is un helpful. After fasting all day for a routine yearly blood draw (my appointment was in the afternoon) I was turned away because they did not have my order. When I pulled the order up on my phone I was rudely told that it had to be a paper order due to HIPAA. As someone in the healthcare field I can confirm that HIPAA allows for electronic medical records and orders, which can be produced by the patient, so I fasted all day and was turned away for a completely invalid reason. I have now spent my one day off in the month miserably hungry in vain. Find another location that won't waste your time. read more

Daughter is on day 16 waiting for results from Quest. Carespot where the test was done waited 4 days to send the test into Quest. So they are no better. She had an appt for the test at Carespot. Waited 40 minutes in the lobby with others. No social distancing, no masks. She cant go back to work without results. What if she is positive all this time, without symptoms and now gets sick??? Or got others waiting in the lobby sick?? Rude people at Quest. Told her that calling every other day isnt gonna make her results come faster. She didnt start calling til day 8 cuz they said 5-7 days. 16 days of rude and scary wait. Still waiting. Forced to come here for employment drug screen. Had no choice but to stay and wait and wait and wait and wait for someone to cancel or a no show. They say open til 3:00 but will not do work drug screens after 1:30. Impossible to make appointments within 48 hour window given for drug screens. It is almost impossible to get an appointment with one week. The slots in the afternoon are obviously not good for fasting patients. I had an appointment for 7:00 am, got there few minutes before but 3 people were in front of me at the kiosk, they had time sign in were 2 walking in front of me they got a code 101 by the time I got to the kiosk it was 7:06, How ever , I had received a text msg on my cell saying you are one minute late appointments cancelled. When I put my info into the computer my time was cancelled I had to make appointment as walk in when the computer found me but asked for ID , after my ID was scanned the time popped up 2:10, the tech came outside to help those two walking's with code "101", The tech stated yes I know you are walk ins you are fine you are next in line , Then she looked at me and said"ARE YOU HAVING TROUBLE SIGN IN?" My reply was no your kiosk is busted I explained the reason and SHE LOOKED AT ME AND SAID THE COMPUTER IS FINE YOU SEE THIS HERE IS THE TIME OF YOUR APPOINTMENT DO YOU WANT IT OR NOT ? So I said yes she wrote on a peace of paper 2:10 and stated come back this afternoon at 2:10 don't be late and walked away. I got outside checked my cell for an appointment is not I . zero stars. My husband, who is battling Stage 4 cancer had an appointment today at 1130. He showed up early, as he always does for appointment, but forgot to bring his hard copy doctor order to have the blood drawn. Now mind you, we live about 4 miles away. He hurried home to get the paperwork and immediately returned to the clinic. To sum up the experience, although they recognized he had returned on numerous occasions, they did not call him back. He then went to another lab that Quest provided the information for, but they were closed for off site collections. Finally, he went to Flagler and they were happy to accommodate him. Flagler was so very helpful and took his test without issue. Quest should go there for training. By the time my husband returned home he was exhausted. It is hard enough to have to fight this disease, you shouldn't have to be treated like trash too. If that person had ever worked for me, she would have been fired on the spot. I drove my friend to get a drug test for work to Quest Diagnostics. We got to the lab around 11am, and unfortunately did not set an appointment.(I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AN APPOINTMENT) There were not many people ahead of us, but since there were very few techs we ended up in the waiting room for over an hour. He was sent back to a room to do his five second test urine test. The tech asks him if he is doing a drug test, to which he replied yes, she then said okay, and walked away and proceeded to help someone else. After twenty plus minutes of waiting, she finally gave him the test, and sent him on his way. I give this place three stars, the floor was filthy, which I can kind of understand since there are people in and out of the office all day, but maybe the desk girl should pick up the gobs of trash on the ground. The young woman at the counter was very pleasant though. She gained this place three stars. She made conversation easily and was very respectful and helpful to the people in the office. On 12-28-18, my Dr. had me go to Quest to have a blood test done. Normally my Dr. does it in the office but her lab was closed. My experience at Quest on US 1 was horrific! It was a long wait, the 1 person in the lab jabbed me so hard that the bruise is 7" long and it has been 7 days. It's painful to touch and I have tingling in my fingers. I have never had a problem having my blood tested. She was very unprofessional and rude. I, my family nor friends will ever go there! read more

This was my first experience with Quest and very pleased with the experience. The lab appeared to be clean and very well organized. The receptionist and phlebotomist were very helpful. I presented with an unusual lab test from a physician in Gainesville. As I thought, they had not processed this type of test before. The receptionist "Trish" went the extra mile to investigate and learn what needed to be done to complete the test. I didn't expect that the test could have been completed today but it was and in a short period of time. The phlebotomist read the instructions and drew the sample as painlessly as possible. It is great that one can make an appointment. Take advantage of making appointments. First come, first served is what I am use to. I can't say enough about "Trish", she handled every thing professionally and reminded me that I am the patient and patients are special. read more
