Lovely hidden gem bar in Soma! I've come for their trivia nights (Trivia Thursday, 7pm) twice now and both times have been so fun. The hosts/owners are awesome and the questions are always interesting -- not obscure and very reasonable compared to other trivia places I've been to. I like their puzzle & music rounds especially. The prize for winning first is a karaoke party which is so cool!! They have a ton of food & drink options and a great drink of the month deal ($7). I'm definitely planning to come back for more trivia nights with more friends. Ambiance inside is not too rowdy but still lively, which is perfect. It's not intensely crowded and there's lots of seating. They also have a cute dog and free popcorn machine. They play great music too. And not to mention the friendliest staff!!

The pastrami sandwich is a great add to the menu. The bartenders are as always very friendly and knowledgeable about the cocktails and beers.

Didn't realize they'd closed at 2:30pm when I walked in, but they still accommodated me and Byron!

The short: Hidden gem in the former location of Ted's Sports Bar. Dog friendly. Vegan friendly. Low prices, warm and inviting atmosphere. What more could you ask for? The long: I'd never heard of Question Mark Bar, but I decided to stop in on a Monday afternoon for a late lunch after seeing some signs for it up on light posts around the neighborhood and confirming they had a vegan option on the menu. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by both the bartender, Kenzie, and the owner, Jeremy, who was sitting at a booth in the corner, working on his laptop and conducting some business on the phone. The food came out quickly and was good! (The vegan burger comes with cheese and mayo, but Kenzie mentioned that as soon as I ordered, so I was able to ask for them to be left off.) Jeremy offered my dog a treat and some pats and scratches on the head. Before he headed out, he handed me his card and said to let him know if I ever wanted to have them open up early to show any soccer games. I might have to organize some watch parties here at some point....

Popped in here to have a drink and wait for my partner to get off work. It was trivia night and the bar was nice and busy, especially for a Thursday. I ordered a margarita off their happy hour menu and the price and quality was great. When my partner showed up we got the fried chicken sandwich, garlic fries and management threw in a caesar salad wrap, Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. There was a very sweet dog (ESA I assume) who was supervising the room. Overall fun crowd, friendly staff and good grub. I will be back!

If you're looking for a bar with a unique, San Francisco vibe, look no further than Question Mark Bar! It's got that magical, Burning Man-esque energy that makes it feel like you're stepping into a different world. Jeremy, the owner is a most excellent host! The eclectic atmosphere is perfect for anyone looking to have a good time. Whether you're hanging out in one of the cozy nooks or dancing the night away, there's always something exciting happening. The staff are friendly, always making you feel welcome, and there's karaoke nights --whether you're a pro or just singing for fun, it's a great time for everyone. It's a sweet neighborhood spot that's worth the trip! Nice Dogs are welcome!

I went for lunch on a Tuesday. Mostly empty, one server and plenty of empty spots. Interior was a bit dark lighting wise. I wish the tables were a little less sticky. Some quiet conversations and light music. Most of the seating is booth-style seats or at the bar. The price felt great for the food I got. I got a chicken tortilla soup and fish and chips. Both items were great, with the soup hot and flavorful, and the fish and chips crispy. There's a 10% discount if you're eating there while on jury duty. Convenient, as it's right next to the criminal court. There's a lot of the place which hints it's more lively in the later hours, including posters for bar trivia and a karaoke spot.

We went there for valentines night and they had free salsa classes , which made our evening . Couldn't have asked for a better way to spend V-day. The cocktails were ok, and the beer was good but the bartenders were very friendly and cool. Seems like their trivia and karaoke nights will be interesting too

My boyfriend and I came here to see TK from Ling Tosite Sigure (real anime heads know - Tokyo Ghoul, Psycho Pass, etc. or if you're a fan of math rock). We got the GA tickets and waited in the line for the venue around 40 minutes before the show. We were still in the first 100 or so people in, we were in the line when it curved the corner near the other shopping plaza near the bus stop, so it wasn't too fisted when we went. This was absolutely not the case for the LA show, so the vibes in NorCal versus SoCal are completely different. Staff was welcoming (as best they could) and efficient in checking us in and security was friendly in what they had to do. Much better than some of the other venues I've been to. You have to go upstairs to get to the live house concert stage area. It looks very high end with the lighting, curtains, balcony area, and chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. It's not as grandiose as say the Mayan (RIP), but nice nonetheless. We were probably 3-4 layers of people from the front, but was able to see all of the band members quite well and I was accidentally in the band's Instagram post (with my very funny and cooked back posture). Sound quality was great and really highlighted not only TK's vocals, but the technicality and skill he has on guitar (dude had to swap guitars between each song), as well as all of the support members (their support drummer from Crossfaith has such good stage presence). Nothing sounded too drowned out or overpowering. Good acoustics. The merch table was at the side and I didn't pay too much mind to where the bar was. When walking up stairs I was wondering where to go and loudly asked that question and a kind staff working the coat check in the opposite direction pointed to where to go. I think my only qualm though is the stairs that everyone has to take up, and more importantly down since it gets super crowded. However, they do have an accessible elevator for those who may require it or are ADA. What I love about this venue is the apples they give attendees. Great post concert snack. Sweet and crispy apple. I really love that they do this. And apparently this was the only tour stop that had a free poster with the artist playing too. Love that extra goodie for concert goers since I didn't purchase any merchandise. If there's a band or musician that I know is going to go to the Fillmore, I'm going to try to make the show since I really enjoyed it here!

1 Star - Awful Manager and Staff Experience…read more We attended the Alex Isley concert at The Fillmore and brought our 8-year-old daughter. It was her very first concert, and she absolutely loves Alex Isley. The venue was standing room only, but we found a small corner near the front where we weren't blocking anyone's view. Early in the evening, one female staff member seemed to have an issue with us, although every other staff member we encountered was friendly and accommodating. At one point, I asked a staff member if it would be okay to put my daughter on my shoulders so she could see the stage. He told me it was absolutely fine, and several other staff members nearby clearly had no issue with it. Later, the same female employee returned and began harassing my wife about our daughter being on my shoulders or standing on a bench that was not obstructing anyone's view. She made a scene unnecessarily and then escalated the situation to a manager. The manager arrived and was just as rude. Although I complied immediately because I didn't want to create a scene in front of my daughter, we felt singled out and bullied throughout the interaction. Ironically, other concertgoers immediately tried to help by offering our daughter space in front of them so she could see the performance. Even more telling, a member of Alex Isley's security team witnessed what happened, approached us afterward, and kindly arranged for my wife, daughter, and me to meet Alex after the show. That completely made our daughter's night and turned what could have been a very disappointing experience into a special memory. The kindness shown by Alex Isley's team and fellow concertgoers stood in stark contrast to the behavior of The Fillmore's manager and this particular staff member. Because of this experience, I will not return to The Fillmore and cannot recommend the venue to others. 1/5 stars.

My only issue is that the stage is sort of eye level and not raised a ton, so getting stuck behind some really tall people and not much space to move, I only caught glimpses of the band lol. I'd probably opt for the 2nd floor balcony for a better chance at an unobstructed view. Overall, loved that I finally got to check this venue off my list. Our main server was Andrew-- a few others also were helping too. They were much nicer. Andrew seemed to be on an entirely different plane of understanding what hospitality is. Can't confirm, but he seemed like he was of an " enhanced" nature. All sped up and not really interested in working...irritated and agitated at us. Our drinks and food got mixed up and delivered to the wrong tables. He dropped of the credit card for the table next to us. When the table asked, Where's our check, he snapped that he dropped it off-- that's when we noticed that it was sitting on our table and handed to the people next to us. He was rude, held my sister's drink by the rim while dropping it off doing a weird back armed spin... never asked how anything was. My sister had to wipe the rim with a napkin before drinking-- but got grossed out and ordered a different drink. We were there for the second show and apparently they ran out of the macaroni croquettes. Andrew with ZERO finesse just states, were out of the macaroni -- you want something else? I said what do you have? He acted all put out when I asked for a menu. I was also asking what the joint had because they were out of food by the second show. We had light appetizers elsewhere thinking that we would have dinner at the show-- super disappointed with the food. If the band wasn't so amazing I would have gotten up and left due to the lack of hospitality and manners. Great venue, the sound and acoustics are fabulous. We had a comfortable side booth and were super happy with our seating location. I would go back for the music. But not for the food or service.
