My dryer was taking forever to dry my towels and a service call from another provider did not fix my problem. I have several dogs, so I was told my dryer vent needed cleaning. When Arthur came, he tested the dryer temperature without the vent hooked up, which was already more than what the prior repairman did. He determined from the suboptimal temperature that the dryer needed servicing. He took apart the dryer, and true enough, there was excessive lint that would have been a fire hazard. Arthur was thorough in cleaning the dryer and the dryer works like new after the thorough cleaning. I also asked Arthur to look at my stove and washer as well, and he spent time checking with several suppliers to find the parts for my old stove and washer. He even offered us the option of finding the part on eBay, and we ultimately decided our stove was just too old and should be replaced. Arthur also replaced the moldy gasket in our washer, working around issues with rusty parts to get the job done. Arthur answered my call. He was courteous and professional from that moment to saying goodbye after completing the required job. My mother's decades old oven was not working properly. Arthur asked for some information, explained the rate structure, then set an appointment. He arrived on time, which is to say he arrived a little early. I called Arthur to service my dryer as it was not heating. He came out the next day on time as promised. He recommended that I first get my vent dryer cleaned out, as that may have caused the dryer not to heat before changing the thermostat as there's really no way to tell if the thermostat is bad or not under those conditions. So, I had to call another company to clean out the dryer vent and then we'll see if the dryer heats. If not, then Arthur will come back out to change the thermostat at the cost of $240. Arthur was honest with me even at the expense of him possibly not making any additional money other than the $49 service call. ARTUR, is a friendly and informative person. I called this company because the "Heat Element" went out from my dryer. ARTUR showed me the inside of the dryer. The pump was not connected to blow out the fumes and heat. The inside had so much lint, all over the wires, Etc, this would of caught on fire. (I was lucky it did not) that was the reason I was smelling fumes. I did mention a different company company so call repaired it but "DIDNT". I smelled the fumes the next day. I dealt with the smell by closing the door and run a fan facing the window to blow out the fumes. I suppose it was "okay" that the "Heat Element " went out or else I would not call this company.
