Absolutely unacceptable experience -- avoid at all costs. I started using this framer more regularly after Gary in Larchmont closed his shop, hoping for professionalism and quality. What I got instead was negligence, subpar craftsmanship, and complete disregard for customer property. I trusted them with framing an art piece in a heavy shadowbox frame containing glass. They used an inappropriate hanging method -- thin wire and shallow screws -- instead of a proper French cleat system. The result? The frame fell off the wall, tearing out the screws on one side and busting the wire on the other and causing visible damage to my wall, baseboard, and marble flooring. I am relieved that no one in my family, including my pups, were injured! When I contacted them about the damage to my home, their response was essentially: "Not our problem." Their exact words: "We can only speak to what occurs on our premises, so unfortunately we cannot provide any compensation for the damage incurred during the hanging process." So they take your money, give you a dangerously framed piece, and wash their hands of it once it's out the door. On top of that, once frame was redone, I asked specifically before delivery whether the corners were flush (they weren't previously), and was told they'd inspect it and send it back if needed. They did send it back for correction -- and somehow returned it with debris inside the shadowbox and a corner still not flush. This place is a case study in why cutting corners with quality and accountability never pays off. You get what you pay for. Spend more money and go to a professional framer that costs a little more. Or use them, save a little and expect subpar work. I'll be filing a small claims lawsuit for the damage to my home. I wouldn't do this if they took accountability for the damage in some way and offered even a small compensation, like with a partial refund. At this point, it's the principle. Also, I had another shadowbox piece that was framed a couple of years ago and a year later the frame literally came apart on my wall- the corners separated. I took it back to them and they redid it.

Been going here for over a decade now. It's a terrific business at a price that can't be beat. They walk you through your various options with clarity and confidence and their work is top notch. I've probably spent thousands of dollars here but everywhere else I've checked it's probably 3 times the cost with them trying to swindle you on a bunch of nonsense that's generally not needed. I have been coming here for years, first being for convenience but now for great work and affordability. Framing is art and sometimes the cost of framing can be more than the artwork itself but it is definitely an investment. They have a great selection and staff but what I love is that I can bring my prints and poster for their poster deal and not go broke. One thing I would like to emphasized is that they do their framing at their Van Nuys location which is why it takes a week for pick up so keep in mind in case you have a deadline. read more

"The day you become an adult is the day you get something custom framed." - Me Been loyal to this spot for many years simply because the value is unmatched, especially in the murky world of custom framing. I've been to at least 4 or 5 other frame shops in the area and they've always been way more expensive, especially one shop in Culver City near Helms Bakery that's been 'going out of business' seemingly for over a decade. If you're frustrated with previous experiences with framing sticker shock, you'll find the pricing at Quick Art Frame consistent and very fair. There's usually not much of a wait, if at all, and their recommendations are on point. Turnaround time is very quick but you're really coming here because of the price. Having framed at least 30+ pieces here, there have been a few times that they've messed up but they've been very quick and accommodating to fix whatever the problem is. In my experience, it's usually something to do with centering or the way the matting lines up. They're human beings and nobody is perfect but they still get 5 stars from me because I've always been satisfied at the end of the day. My recommendation is that you examine your framed item carefully when you pick it up to make sure everything is how you want it. To sum it up, this is my go-to frame shop. I will not go to any other spot. And more so than any other business, this is the one I find myself recommending most to friends and colleagues. read more

The tireless people working there are so kind, so caring; And, even during these times of supply-chain uncertainty, their artistic creativity allowed them to frame 5 original pieces of art painted by the Pharmacist who also served as the Father of the family that housed me in Segovia, Spain during (and after) my Semester Abroad. They showed me several different frame and matte samples to figure out what worked best with the stuff I needed framed, and they didn't get impatient when I was fussy and particular, and asked for other options. They paired this super precious collage print I had ordered online from my favorite artist with a very sleek and simple frame that drew attention to and centered the piece perfectly. They also found a wonderful, retro looking walnut (?) frame for these very old photos of my parents that were taken in the 70's. The final product looks like something you would find in your grandparents' house. Now I have a glorious piece of family history that can remain preserved long after they and I are gone. Altogether, it was a little on the pricey side, but they took such good care of these precious items, gave me a result that was even better than I expected, and I could not be more satisfied! The order took several weeks to finish, since they were pretty busy and backed up with orders due to the pandemic and supply delays, but it was still ready within the time frame they promised and it was 100% worth the wait AND the cost. They offer different options for the type of glass too--you can even spring for museum-grade glass that doesn't glare at all!--I went with the cheaper glass option and it still looks incredible. I will definitely be returning in the future knowing that I can trust them with invaluable pieces of artwork, and I recommend you do the same.

Both leis and experiences were really seamless and didn't have any problems with my order. I went and picked up the leis a day in advance too. Inside you see one of their employees making leis at the table and there's options on the wall to choose from if your walking in. If you are ordering during a busy season, I recommend ordering it asap too. Would come back if I needed to go to any other graduations in the future!

The flowers were beautiful, costs were just a fraction of what it would cost to have a florist procure them and put them together. We had no idea, as to "our" budget, except it was given to us our wedding gift. My paternal aunt purchased, all of our wedding flowers here and placed together by family, with love. We were there, bright and early and got best quality flowers. It was day or two, before they would be used. They must be preserved, freshly and kept them inside my bathroom, in dark, cold room & cranked up AC. All of it was placed in bathtub for hydration.

First the website mentions parking on the roof and we could not find this parking. There was an area blocked off, but it didn't say full. It was just blocked off and the only reason I suspect that was their parking lot is because the exit was still open. So I had to pay for $10 across the street. Yes we could have found street parking further away, but I was already frustrated not having found their lot and my partner was just like I'll just pay. Let's just go across the street. Next even though it is mentioned on the website (I don't remember seeing it despite looking at the website multiple times) and there was a $2 entrance fee. what am I paying $2 for? Why am I paying $2 to shop and spend more money? I'm sorry just on the way there as we got closer, there are so many flower shops around the mart so I don't see why you wouldn't just go to one of those and get your flowers without having to pay an additional fee. So now, we are already $14 out-of-pocket and we havent done anything but try to park and step inside. We get inside we look around and I honestly did not find the prices to be that different from a farmers market perhaps a slightly bigger bouquet, or a couple of dollars cheaper, but there was nothing that was like ooh, this is a great deal. We ended up buying a large bouquet of lilies for $25. There is a stall in the back that had what I would consider actually good price prices. Five stems for $10 and a big bushel of another kind of flower for $6. We got those as well. My partner also really liked the plant guy and bought a plant from him from $20. Now here is where I really will not be back. I stopped at a stall called Choice America. I saw a really pretty set of mum's and asked how much they were & was told $10. The guy helping me then confirmed that they were $10 with somebody else. He then went on to say that one with eight stems was a higher price that I don't remember because I knew I wasn't getting that.When I got to the counter to actually pay, the woman was going back-and-forth with another customer about some order. They both seemed equally frustrated. Why is this important?.. because when it was my time to pay she said $10. I handed her a $20 bill. She opens the register and pulls out a five and some ones throws up her hands. I deduced that already being frustrated this is just one more thing on top as she doesnt have enough change to give me and instead turns to me and says $12.50. I kind of stumble and I say for what... tax or something? and she goes yeah tax clearly lying! Even if they did charge tax, which no other stall did, sales tax in Los Angeles on $10 it's not $12.50. The unfortunate problem is that I am black and I am not afforded the luxury to say something back because then I'm seeing as an angry black woman, have the police called on me not being believed etc. etc. so I just have to bite the bullet and get scammed and ripped off of my money. My partner and I both agree that it was not worth the hassle to go, but he really wants to take me to the restaurant across the street so we would go back to the plant guy and we would go back to the stall in the back but even those are BIG IFS as neither of us has any desire to ever go back to the Flower Mart. I feel like overall. The whole place is a money grab, you should save your money and go to your local farmers market or visit one of the many other vendors that were around the area without having to pay an admission fee to even buy flowers. Or better yet be bold like the elderly lady who accosted us as we were leaving and asked "are you all done in there can I have your sticker?" I was already too flustered to even recognize what she was asking till after my partner happily handed his over.

Quick Art Frame is the place for great customer service, competitive prices and professionalism. I have just had 42 paintings stretched or framed and am extremely happy with the result. I first dealt with Julio at the warehouse by email from Australia prior to my arrival into LA then with Francisco when I dropped the paintings off at the showroom. Francisco took his time to help me select the right frame for the prints I wanted to get framed in a floating frame way and made sure that all my instructions were clearly written on the order.. Julio was great at making sure the framing was done as per my instructions . Thanks to Julio and Francisco jointly for completing the job and delivering on time!! I could not have wished for better service and genuine concern for making sure I got what I wanted. Very impressive service. When one of the glass framed paintings was slightly damaged in transit, Francisco called me to inform me before I got a chance to see it myself, and worked until very late to make sure the frame was redone and ready for the original pick up time the next morning (I last spoke to him at 9pm and again at 7.30am the next day once all was fixed and ready!). Absolutely fantastic!! I would recommend that if your pick up time is critical to you, make sure you let Francisco know and he and Julio will make sure the work is done in time. I found great work being done here. I would say so again because I had a few pictures and I wanted the best frames you can imagine, and someone stood up to my challenge and stunned me. The man who did my frames, Luis is simply talent. He has a great taste and passion for what he does. I got here after reading some reviews here on yelp, and I was not disappointed with what I found. I never knew I would get the kind of frames I found here. They are pure pieces of art, done with a skillful art. I always show them off in my college room. Quick Art Frame is an awesome place to go for your entire picture framing needs. They will make any kind of frame for you and you can be sure to get more from them. Luis is a very patient man. One of the most frustrating things about many frame stores out there is that almost always they make me feel like a kid in a candy store who only got a few quartets in his pocket. They all have a great selection but really, who can afford anything beyond the basic stuff? Not so at Quick Art Frame. They have the selection, and their prices are very reasonable. Now, selection tends to confuse me, I want it all, and I can stare at all the pretty textures and colors for quite a while, frozen in indecision. In comes the super nice owner of the place who has a great taste. He didn't just point out something to get me to decide already, he was completely right and helped me make the right choice twice in a row already. Take it from someone that is an artist, fine art printer, has worked with some of the most reputable gallery installers and fine art ateliers and not to mention a past employee that resigned after two days on the job with the task of bringing this "frameshop" up to par with the quality many other ateliers are known to produce on a consistent basis. Long story short the owner is only passionate about your money and not the quality a piece of art deserves in terms of presentation. trust me all the good reviews for this place are from patrons who either don't apprecite quality or love to argue with an owner that frankly doesn't care past your credit card being charged. do not waste your time or money here. read more

The best part of their job is they are very fast compared to other frame shops and deliver the stuff just as you need it to be.
