Try this place If your car's DMV registration requires a STAR CERTIFIED SMOG CHECK. They were pretty quick and charge the same rates compared to others in the area. Walk-ins welcome but always better to call ahead for an appointment. Quick Smog Check lives up to their name. I was In and Out in less than 15 minutes! Although they do have a big sign that says, "Quick Check Smog Check", my gps made me go in circles. I had a hard time finding the location and found myself circling the back employee lot where Quick Check Smog Check shares the lot with a handful of other automotive repair shops specializing in different categories. Good thing I recognized what a smog machine looks like and was about to get some help. Fast and friendly service! Would highly recommend. This place was super fast and FRIENDLY. We were done less than 10 minutes 40$ STAR smog check. He recommend also ways to fix the water pump easily and the car mount via do it yourself and save money which was nice because I didn't know it was an easy fix. Came here with my husband for a smog check. We were the only customers in the shop and it took 20 minutes for the mechanic to even take our car to the bay. The whole process took over an HOUR and the next day, when we went to put gas into our vehicle we noticed they never put our gas cap back on! Tried calling, but just like when we were there waiting for an hour, the receptionist never answered the phone! There are hundreds of local smog shops- I'll be using a different one when my SUV gets smogged in December. read more
