They just want to know your order and they will get it taken care of. I saw that this bagel shop was near where I was at the time and I stopped by for a turkey bacon, egg, and cheese on an egg bagel. The register person put in my order with no fuss. I later wanted salt, pepper and ketchup as that is just the way you order the sandwich. He didn't really comment or think much of it, and just requested whoever was making it to add it. It throws me off a little that they don't converse with it, they just get down to the order. Like they have the experience where it seems normal to them to say it. Very straightforward shop.
