This store is not street front. You have to go up to the fifth floor and it is a small studio where a nice guy Bobby runs the business. I went to print photos from my iPhone and they came out amazing! I printed both 4x7 photos and 5x7 photos. The process is easy. You go to the website and click upload photos. Bobby retrieves them on his end and gives you a choice of matte, glossy and luster. He shows you samples if you're unsure of what you want. I waited about 15 minutes and the prints were ready. Again, the process was super easy. I'm sure if you submit the upload ahead of time before going there you may not have to wait as long. Side note, everyone else there was printing headshots and resumes. They were all actors. This place is popular for headshots. I would recommend this place for all photo printing. The quality and colors is high quality even though they were digital prints from my iPhone. read more

Amazing service for getting passport/visa pictures taken. They are fast and kind. So glad to have found a place close to home.

I went for passport photos. The service was not bad but I think my expectation was higher since I read a review saying that they take multiple shots for you to choose from. They might have take a few shots but they were never shown to me and I was only given the pictures once they were printed. To be fair, maybe if I asked them, they would have taken more shots or at least let me see the one they took before printing. Also, my expectation was based on reading another person's review so that might not be the right way to measure it. read more

I sent my pic for headshot via email, told them how i want the layout. They said I need to be there, and they will do print test. So i went there, sit with one of the guy, he even edited a bit my pics (in other places they will charge you). He print one copy, I want it to be fixed little bit more, and he print another copy for testing. I feel like this is not in New York, cause the guy is very patient and nice! Its just, dont come here when you are in rush. Cause they need time to do the edit, check the printing test and finally wait for the whole order finish. Also, try not to call them asking this that shitty small things, everything is in their web. And they reply email pretty fast. I heard good things about this place based on price and quality but tried going today & I must say it's a no go. 1. There's no air conditioning here. It's a summer day, feels like 90+ in NYC. Monica already hates the subway platforms with their barbaric and unbearable lack of air conditioning. 2. You are expected to wait 30 minutes JUST to get the layout done to START an order. This doesn't account for others ahead of you. People with actual day jobs and business obligations don't have time to wait an hour+ for a mere order setup. 3. The lone employee there that I asked about this was completely rude and dismissive of my concerns. This is how you treat paying customers? Can you not get a counter person to take orders and create efficiency in the process? I never got this at Precision Photos & they had air conditioning in THEIR office. Maybe if you went here in the winter & had all the time in the world you'd get service but if you work weekdays and already have to swelter in a business suit in the summer it's not happening. I also can't abide anybody who acts like sweltering for 30+ minutes is a-okay. Why can't I simply email my images, get a layout for approval via email, arrange a pickup time then go in and pay? Why waste people's time? Do they even take credit cards, for that matter? read more

I'm really happy to read that if you need headshots or prints, this guy is happy to help you. But unfortunately he's offering services (film developing) that he clearly couldn't care less about. In general, the extremely slow turnaround time doesn't bother me. Except when the turnaround time is a week, and then 2 weeks, and then the owner is annoyed when I'm asking where my photos are. Not only that, but he seemed inconvenienced whenever I brought film in to be developed. Why are you upset someone is giving you business? Kindness, especially to returning customers (which I was) goes a long way. I had to go back and ask for my film back. He was not even apologetic. Also, change your business name. The place is unassuming and not expensive but I feel like I just took the most glamorous passport photo ever. The man at the door was super nice and actually gave me two rounds of five photos to choose from (I can be pretty picky and he was so patient.) The photo lab also specializes in headshots so they did everything they could to make me look my best.
