Went her because it had good reviews and I wanted to get an original screen from apple installed. I looked up apple authorized repair shops. This store popped up. They had good reviews and people seemed to have a good experience. I take my phone in paid $400 to get and primal screen to prevent issues with a new screen. Screen was replaced and was told I have a 90 day warranty. I noticed recently that the island on the top of the iPhone started to show dead pixels. So I call them and was told I am past my warranty date by a few days. That's fine. However I was then told that this would not have been covered under the warranty any ways because it was physical damage that I had caused. Well that is incorrect. Since getting the new screen it has not been dropped, it's had a a screen protector and a case on it since it left their shop. I then asked to see out of curiosity what the warranty said and was told there was not any information on the warranty that there is just a 90 day warranty. I thought that was weird. So then I was curious on a few things like parts warranty for the screen, parts number for the screen, and why it was start to show damage if I didn't cause physical damage. When I asked for the part number that was installed to see if this happens to people after they get their screen replaced with it. I was told all they had for my account was my name, phone number and type of phone that was repaired and that other information is on the invoice. When I went there to get it fixed all we got was a small receipt for what we paid for. Not invoice. I was then told that to determine why it happened they would have to remove the screen and see what happens with a technician. To which I asked if it shows it was the screen was faulty wouldn't be replaced and the answer was no. Then I asked if that same screen with dead pixels be replaced I was told no. So that meant to diagnose it I would then have to buy a new screen to replace it. This was not something I wanted to do since I am still unsure about how it was damaged. So I would just avoid this place because it seems that the warranty isn't something that is in writing from what I see. They don't have information on the repair to validate that the part is what they say it is. And it seems that any issues with a screen after repair is the customers fault and not possible to be a fault of a bad installation. Just seems like bad customer service to blame the customer where there are plenty of things that could have gone wrong. So it was $400 down the drain since I came out with less working screen than when it was just cracked previously. read more
