I received outstanding service from Quick Garage Door Repair today, on my 20-year-old LiftMaster. My opener had entirely stopped working and my do-it-myself repair attempts were unsuccessful. Quick Garage Door gave me a convenient appointment time, and Michael arrived right when promised. He was professional and highly knowledgeable. Importantly, he was also trustworthy--saving me a bundle by making repairs when he could have charged more for an entire new system. I told him I thought I might have burned out the motor and might need a new opener. A few minutes later, he showed me what the broken mechanism was and said he'd try to fix it and get the whole system tuned up. And he did! He repaired that mechanism, which means the Door now works. He also rebalanced the door and lubed the opener motor -- now the door glides smoothly and quietly, instead of rattling and jerking like it used to. And he adjusted the auto-reverse safety settings (which especially matter to those of us with little kids). Rarely does one have the pleasure to meet and interact with a man as nice and generous as Mike. Yesterday a technician came to bring the bottom door seal as I have critters coming through a hole on this seal. He did not have the correct size on his truck and as result left me without a seal all night. This morning I called to see when a tech was coming with the seal as I don't want to go another night without the seal...its now 3 pm and dispatch deeps telling me that tech is on the way to my house. I have a double car door...nothing special. I live in El Sobrante and hope the tech does not leave me another night without the bottom garage door seal!!!
