    This insurance IS THE WORST, I wish I read the reviews before going to them. I was in a car…read moreaccident 9/13, I filed a claim the following morning. My car was taken to a storage lot out in Sherman Oaks because that's where my car accident was and I live in East La, so that was the best location to my car at the time being, when I filed my claim, I was told, an adjuster will contact you and will go GET YOUR CAR FROM THE STORAGE LOT AND HAVE IT TOWED( because I told her it's a total loss for sure) to THIER STORAGE LOT, SHOULD NOT TAKE LONGER THAN 48hrs. Okay everything sounds good so far. Then comes Monday, I start to follow up with my advisor, no answer, calls me back later that day to take my statement, I was driving so he said he'd call me back in 15 mins. I don't hear from him till Wednesday, that's already passing 48hrs, I finally give my statement, then he says okay we're gonna go pick up your car after you sign the release form, I already signed it immediately after filing the claim the day after the car accident, these people waited on purpose, come FRIDAY, the tow truck company contacts the owner of the storage lot that they're gonna go pick up the car at 2:45, this means that the insurance already contacted the tow truck company so that's why they contacted the storage owner, the storage owner calls the tow company saying hey it's 2:45 are you guys gonna come? The tow company said no because FRED LOYA DECIDED TO CANCEL THE PICK UP DUE TO EXCESSIVE CHARGES, the owner found that to be strange. I was told by FL that if I want my car out of there I need to pay out of pocket the difference, THATS RIDICULOUS. So 9/20/24 my car was deemed a total loss officially. Why I'm I BARELY GETTING A PHONE CALL FROM VERONICA 10/4 saying that my car is totaled and she is emailing me the paperwork, remind you the deadline is 10/14 but I'm barely being sent the email on 10/4 when my car was deemed total loss since 9/20. I spoke to owner of storage lot and he's willing by to renegotiate with them so they can pick up my car but he knows what they're doing, they're trying to low ball him and screw me over, so when speaking to VERONICA, she says, "oh I see your car hasn't been picked up from the storage lot." I told her yeah that's the dilemma I'm having with you guys, she then catches an attitude with me saying that it's my fault, that the owner is charging ridiculous fees such as $250 for sending a letter, I told her well he just wants to renegotiate with you guys do give him a call, she says NO! You do that! I said excuse me? Why? This is why I pay FULL COVERAGE MONTHLY, you guys are my insurance, you guys are suppose to protect me and fight for me to make things go smoother at all costs, this LADY STRAIGHT UP TOLD ME, NO! We're not your attorney, we're not this and that, we are just your insurance ONLY, I couldn't believe what I was hearing from VERONICA, I did not want to continue going back and fourth with her so I just said okay, knowing that I've already filed a complaint with the department of insurance and I just took note of what she said because I am being treated WRONG! She's an ADJUSTER, you're suppose to NEGOTIATE FOR A BETTER PRICE POINT , it's LITERALLY IN YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION! I didn't tell her that though because again, I'm not gonna continue to stress myself out over this pathetic scamming company that call themselves an auto insurance, I was stressed out like I've never been in my life the whole week after my car accident dealing with Fred Loya, so I had to tell myself, I will not stress myself out anymore over them, at the end of the day it's all gonna get resolved ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. So after I hung up with Veronica, I called the storage owner and told him about the conversation Veronica and I had, when I told him about the $250 letter charge, he said SHES LYING! HE HAS NOTES AND PROOF THAT SHES LYING. This is just insane to me that I'm going through all this because of this insurance.
