This place is a zero rating! I went to o'reilly auto parts and had them do a free diagnosis using their OBD2 tool because our car has a check engine light. Came back with a knock sensor code. P0328. It a pain to dig in to replace it so I figured I'd have a shop do it instead. Dropped my car off on Thursday. 4 days later they came back with their estimate. $1500 to replace the knock sensor. Another $500 for a new harness. A $50 part. The labor was already included in the knock sensor replacement. Charged me $200 for telling them what was wrong already. $2000 to replace a knock sensor and the wire harness. 4 days on the lot untouched. Go somewhere else. ANY WHERE else! It sucks because I used to get all my oil changes done here. Now I just don't trust them anymore. read more

I purchased my truck from Randall Reed, and my oil change package was honored by Quick Lane. I have no real complaints; the service was performed in a timely manner without any complications. I know these places are supposed to upsell you; however, the $199.00 offer to flush the injectors of a truck with 20K miles is too much for me. I did, however, have them rotate my tires and ask the writer to make sure they were put to the correct pressure, and low and behold, they were not. It is not a deal-breaker; however, I did ask for that service. read more

I've always had my oil changed here. No issues. Today, the lady asked if i wanted the oil changed and tire rotated like the last time? I said, huh! I've never had my tires rotated here, or I've never asked for it. I buy my tires from Discount Tire, I have it done there for free. So, my question, have they been charging me for a rotation? She told me, I asked for "the works". No I didn't. That's what their computer shows. Was being scammed all this time? If you're a regular customer, ask to see your "maintenance history" on their computer. I guess it my own fault, I thought I was dealing with a company that did fair and honest business. Got a low pressure alert and decided to pull into Quick Lane for a top up. They checked my tire and realized that it wasn't just a leak - the tire was completely unsafe to drive on. The folks in there (Amanda especially) made sure my dog and I were safe to get back on the road and helped me find a spot with a tire in stock. Cannot recommend this place enough! read more

This is by far the worst place I have ever been to for a vehicle repair/ inspection or warranty coverage. In March 2024, I had my rear brakes replaced. Was told afterwards everything was fine and looking good. Fast-forward to October, noticed grinding and squeaking all through out the day. Schedule an appointment for 7 am, when I arrived, they had no idea an appointment was made and had to wait a couple more days before the brakes would be at the shop. When the brakes arrived and my vehicle was finally in the shop, I was told again the rear brakes are good, it must be the front brakes. So, those brakes were replaced. Now it's December, I made another appointment for them to re-check/re-pair rear brakes. Guess what, no appointment can be found. These people have the worst communication skills with each other. Only reason I'm letting them look at the brakes now is due to the warranty. If they will honor it. I was told it depends on the usage of the pads. I reminded them, they were replaced in March, the pads should be fine. read more

Against my better judgment, I visited the Quick Lane in Porter to have my power window checked. It would not power down and my regular mechanic was unable to repair it. I decided to also get a 35,000 mile oil change. After 1.5 hours they told me that they were completing the oil change and then would do a diagnostic check for the window. The oil change package was suppose to include tire rotation. When I got home, I realized they DID NOT rotate the tires. (I know because I had one Goodyear tire on the back driver's side and it was still in that location). I called them and they said I would be reimbursed $30 since they did not rotate the tires. Here is my question....WHY didn't they rotate the tires?? The service manager didn't even act surprised, WTH? I will never visit them again. Four hours my grandfather sat at this dealership He's 77 so I had a feeling the 600$ tune up estimate didn't sound right. I asked the manager TYRONE PERRY to please explain why it was that much.. and his response ......"SO"? He then proceeds to call the two most expensive mechanics in the area and sends someone else over to show me that "those" places cost 1800 I never got an explanation as to why it was 600 so I could explain it to my grandpa just "That's the price" I'm sorry but the manager and service advisors are not mechanics- they are their strictly for customer service- so the attitude I got was super uncalled for. We obviously won't be bringing any of the three cars he owns back- even though this was his normal mechanic. I will be reviewing this establishment on every platform I can so everyone can see The elderly will be taken advantage of and they will smirk while doing it. read more

Then the advisor has the nerve to call me 45 minutes after I left their shop asking "if I could come back because the fleet service account that I have approved a coolant flush and wipers." Great service. Walked in for an inspection and was greeted right away with someone walking up to me and asking "what can I do for you today?" Felt like true service, I had work to do at that moment and they made the process swift. I prefer this location over the one closer to my house, where you have to walk up to the counter and actually ask for help. This location also has snacks and water for your convenience, which is always great when waiting for a bit. read more

Will never return- never recommend them. I will say Denise is great! She is the only reason I stuck it out there.. but I can't anymore. I've had work done on my vehicle and when I questioned it on a following visit, I was told it's "normal"and was dismissed. I'm no mechanic but it didn't feel normal, no one offered to look at it when I questioned it. Since I WFH, and hardly drive the vehicle, I would not have noticed the gradual decline in my vehicle. My husband drove it and told me it wasn't normal- took it elsewhere to have a second opinion and I was correct! We had to have a different service center fix their mistake and now the manager is saying had I brought it to their attention they would have resolved it... right... because when I said something, I was simply dismissed. read more

Overall this is a nice place to take your vehicle. Its clean and there is plenty of seating to those who have to wait. The lady who is stationed by Ty needs improvement in customer service skills. Got a simple oil and filter change on my Volkswagen Passat rode off lot with engine make loud noise, came back next day for them to say they need to pull valve cover to check for anything, when I been driving that car with all scheduled maintenance up to date from Stockton California to Houston Texas, I will be contacting the higher personnel who ever owns this buisness, save yourself the hassle and time and honestly maybe save your whole car. This place is o.k. They have their goods and bads. They helped me put custom brakes on and got me out of a jam when the front pads I got in the mail were wrong. And they have always done good work!! But a few things keep the rating lower. Oil changes are VERY slow. The techs don't seem to have the ability to operate in parallel. You can rotate tires while draining oil. You can get an air filter and wipers while doing that too. No matter what time it is it has always taken at least an hour. If your going to greet someone be sure it's with a sir or ma'am, not bud. And definitely use their name after getting initial information. Also if your going in for a major service increment be sure to tell the customer the expected wait time!! A 60K service shouldn't take 5 hours. I could have agreed with 3. I couldn't have gotten back there and done it faster. It's all about working in parallel. So please work on speed of service. Your waiting room isn't that comfortable wait forever in. Also is it too hard to have coffee and condiments early in the morning. Also some donuts!! read more

Took my vehicle here for an oil change and the coolant cap was left off. The coolant continued to spew out and caused my car to severely overheat and the check engine light came on. Obviously, mistakes happen; however, the tech who was servicing my vehicle was on and off of his phone while working on my car and the manager has been very difficult to deal with. My husband had requested to have my vehicle inspected and cleared by a certified Ford dealership and the manger refused; stating, " his ASE service techs checked out the vehicle" (the same service techs that left the coolant cap off to begin with) and Ty suggested we pick up our vehicle that day. When my husband insisted that it be taken to a Ford dealership, the manager (Ty), hung up on him and would no longer communicate with us. There have also been multiple times that the tires had not been rotated on both mine and my husbands vehicle and mass air flow sensor was left unplugged on my husbands truck. Needless to say, I will never take any of our vehicles back to this location again. My husband then had to contact Planet Ford to speak with Ty's supervisor. Luckily, we were fortunate enough to be very well taken care of by the kind and apologetic staff at Planet Ford in Humble, Lorena to be specific. She was very pleasant to work with and made sure everything was taken care of in a very timely manner. read more

Loved this place when it first opened. However, last two experiences have made me rethink if my family will return. Told me daughters car needed new tires . When this was double checked, not even close. This time, i arrived to pick up my car and it was the only still dirty car lined up with the clean ones that also had servicing done. Had to wait for them to run it through wash until they were done with cars that arrived well after mine. While this is not the worst place I've been to get service, very sad to see decrease in customer service. read more

Staff is friendly, quality service and decent prices. However, the wait is unreasonably long. I've never gotten more than an oil change and have consistently waited for more than an hour every time. I continue using quick lane because the quality of service is superior to other options in the area, but I feel as though I have to clear half my day to do so. read more

My wife took our car for a front end alignment and new tire. Was told it would take 30 minutes. It took over 1.5 hours. When done the steering wheel was not straight and the front bumper was damaged. When this was brought to their attention they said they could not do our alignment because our car had different size tires on the front then the rear. As far as the damage on the front bumper...they could not have done it. Funny it was not that way when it was not brought in. Why did they charge us for an alignment if they could not do it? Very dishonest!! They would not do anything about the bumper that they damaged! I will never go their again. Update!!! Waited over 3 hours for a tire replacement then I was told they had to get it from a the Ford dealer in Humble TX that the manger was at the site picking it up. Waited again to find out that the that manger couldn't find one. No one kept me in the loop on the lack of inventory. Very very poor service! read more

Rating is zero stars. First time visit for oil change and tire rotation. Dropped car off and then later called Quick Lane to say wheel key was in trunk inside tool bag. Quick Lane called back saying technician could not find wheel key. I was told engine air filter, cabin filter, and wiper blades needed replacing. I did not have my service record with me to see when air filter had last been changed, and since Tony said it definitely needed replacing, I agreed to have filters changed but not wiper blades. When I returned to pick up my car over an hour later, I was told that the cabin filter had already been changed, but the air filter "was on the way" and the work would be completed in just a few minutes. While waiting, I checked my last maintenance service done by Honda at 30,000 miles (car now has 40,000 miles) and saw that the air filter was changed at that time. I went to the counter and informed the employee that I did not want a new air filter installed as the current one was just a few months old. The employee asked if Quick Lane had recommended replacing the engine air filter that had been replaced 10,000 miles ago, and I said, "yes". Tony came to talk to me and said maybe Honda lied about replacing the engine air filter. Then, Tony retrieved my engine air filter and cabin filter from the trash where oil had dripped on the cabin filter. Contaminated by oil and no longer in the same condition as when removed, my cabin filter could not be reinstalled, so I paid for a new one. However, the engine air filter was not damaged and did not need replacing, as Tony had recommended, because it had been replaced very recently. I requested my engine air filter be put back and a refund issued, which was done. I asked if the wheel key had been found, and Tony's answer was the key bag was empty according to the technician, so the tires were not rotated, even though I paid for that service. I went to the car and looked in the bag, and the key was exactly where Quick Lane had repeatedly been told it was. I went back inside and got Tony, and he "tested" the wheel key on 3 of the 4 tires saying it didn't fit, until he determined on the 4th tire, that it was the correct key. I waited while the tires were rotated. After two and a half hours, the car was finally ready. I have left a message for the service manager listed on the receipt, but have not received a call back at the time of writing this review. I do not recommend Quick Lane due to the deceptive practices and incompetence experienced today. read more
