It is a little annoying how workers insist on helping with the simplest step of paying, and the lane setup is confusing. The right two lanes are marked for members, but in reality all lanes are standard pay lanes -- it would make far more sense if only one was reserved for members. Still, it is an easy place to swing in if you are driving by or headed to H-E-B for groceries. I do not keep a membership since my Jeep is over 15 years old and only gets periodic love, but if you have a newer car, a membership would probably be worth it.

Even with all of the lanes, it gets busy. Patrons are unfortunately not always courteous when alternating cars to form a single file line. I've been coming to this location for many years and have found coming just after opening (7am) or just before close to be the best time to avoid the lines and this unpleasant congestion. This location is nice as it does stay open later than some of their other locations, until 7pm. They always have a very friendly attendant at the pay stations to help with questions, any payment issues, or to assist with sign ups for their memberships which is really nice. I don't know about everyone else but going through the car wash gives me anxiety and this extra support always helps. They have a monthly unlimited membership for $19.99 which pays itself off if you get more than 2 car washes a month and given the amount of construction going on in the area and dust and dirt on the roads, is easily worth it. They also make it really easy to pause or cancel your membership if anything changes. This location also has many bays with free vacuums and forced air to make sure not only the outside, but the inside of your car is in spotless. Some of the other Mister Car Wash locations don't have this feature. Ok so why only 3 stars? The wash just isn't the best. Every time that I go through, even with different types of vehicles, I feel like there is always some dirt left on my car. I went through this morning after noticing some bird poop on the top of my car and noticed it was only partially removed. Again, a few spots isn't going to blow my seal but it is a little disappointing. Luckily, with their unlimited membership, you can just get in line for another pass until your car is wheel-y clean!

When I asked for an engine bay wash, he deliberated for a little and initially offered just to blow off the dust for free but after seeing some caked-on dirt under the hood, we decided to go for it. Love how he didn't just jump to it when I asked about it. :) I loved the clean and comfortable waiting area! Most people waited in the chairs and benches outside to enjoy the cooler weather, but there were seats with tables inside to pull out a laptop and get some work done. WiFi was great too. There were drinks, water, and coffee. Sitting at the window, I could see the cars and teams in action... and they were really hustling! There was definitely a system-- cars directed towards specific areas for different washes, and each team member focused on a specific duty. Everyone seemed like they were working hard. And Faris would walk around to check on each car, scribble some code on the windows to mark the progress, and ensure everything went smoothly. Teamwork at its finest-- very neat! And the actual car wash result? Pretty much spotless! My car was so shiny and the wheels were the cleanest they've been in a long time. There was still a small bit of wiping swirl noticeable on the inside and when I drove off, some water hiding near the side mirrors slid off onto the sides. But no biggie-- I just wiped that off whenever I got out of the car. Payment by card only (although I did see a tip box for cash so maybe I'll use that next time!). Probably not the cheapest wash out there but for how smooth and comfortable the experience is, how friendly the team was, and how clean my car turned out, I'll be back!
