Bought the monthly subscription about a year ago and have brought my car to that Quick Quack on Dinah Shore about 2-3 times per month since without any issues. On June 12th 2026 I brought it in and noticed the next day that my front license plate was missing. I contacted Quick Quack but they told me they did not have my plate and it might've been stolen. I went to DMV immediately and replaced my plates, costing $28. The next day I got an email from Quick Quack telling me they actually had my plate and the video showed that their machine tore it off. I requested reimbursement for the new plates and also the front cover of the license plate which was also missing. At this point, I was in communication with their manager, Patsy Diaz DeLeon. She told me she would review the video before deciding next steps. About three weeks had gone by from the day the plate was torn off to her sending me an email stating that "because there was a gap between the license plate and the plate holder, she would not be reimbursing me for the cost of plate replacement or the cover". Think about how stupid this answer is; they allowed my car in the car wash because they saw no issues with the license plate or this made up "gap" and also, they admit that their machine tore the plate off. I was not asking for anything but replacement cost of the plate and cover, which they admit was their fault. Instead, they try to blame me that since they say there was a gap, which I don't believe because the plate cover was flush and kept it all together. And, if there was a gap, it would've been created by their machines in previous washes. I informed Patsy that I was cancelling my subscription and taking this through small claims for full reimbursement. Patsy is power- tripping and probably thinks she's saving money by not doing the right thing but the company has lost me as a customer, will lose friends of mine and her offer to do a "ceramic wash" as my compensation was insulting. Stay away. My car was scratched after using this car wash, and when I filed a claim, the experience only got worse. I was given the runaround for months no follow up, no emails, no calls. I contacted customer service multiple times and was repeatedly told a manager would reach out, but that never happened. It wasn't until I showed up in person that they suddenly closed my case and denied responsibility. Beyond the damage to my car, the lack of communication and accountability was unacceptable. This is a clear failure in both customer service and management. I've since canceled my membership and will not be returning. read more

This semi-self-service car washes are popping up everywhere. We'll wash your car with 3 different wash options, then feel free to pull over and vacuum the inside with some serious suction for no additional fee. This one was a little unique to what I'm used to as someone actually came and took your order and credit card for payment rather than a machine. They also didn't have gates pulsing car through as you merged from one lane to 2. Another old school behavior was writing which wash you had on your windshield. in all honestly, it works, but the merge can get confusing if someone besides they don't want to play every other car or pay attention to who got there first. One inside though, I was impressed with the wash. It seemed to have more spinning rags (I'm sure they have a name, but I don't know what it is) washing your car. I liked that. They could use a little more time or blowers to dry your car. It in 100+ degree summer, it probably doesn't matter, but this wasn't one of those days. Stil, it did a decent job of cleaning the car. I did think the price was a little steep. Basically $10 for the "good" wash, the lowest option. Usually, they are $6 or $7. In all honestly, after the car is washed, I've never seen much different with the higher end options, but they are there if you want to splurge. They did offer me the subscription plan, but I don't live in the area, so it doesn't help me much. read more

Value and Quality is excellent. The score is low because we had damage to our car (family plan) & we got the complete run around. Talked to the local mgr. Oh no problem. We will take care of it etc etc ran us around for weeks getting estimates from 3 different places. When it finally came time to pay for the over 5K damage that was very clear on each itemized estimate's. They waited 6 more days had a conference call with the local mgr and some corporate boss. The one second answer very mean and quickly delivered was NO! NOT PAYING! SORRY totally contradicting all other nice considerate information delivered to us the 4 weeks prior. Was really happy when I first signed up for unlimited at the one on Dinah Shore, but it's starting to go downhill. Out of towels often, not pre-moistened anymore, the spigot is turned off where you used to be able to wet the towels and when you ask an attendant if there are anymore towels they just wave you off and say go get some from another spot. You can imagine the problem when you go to where someone is drying their vehicle and you take the last towel. This morning was another infuriating issue. Busy and very few spots available and I noticed a car just sitting in a covered spot with no one around it or doing anything, so, I asked an attendant about it. She told me it's an employees car! I asked if they're allowed to do that and she said yes, that multiple employees take up the spots all day. I asked if the manager knew and she said yes and just walked away while I was still in mid-conversation. I'm only going to give this one more chance before I cancel my membership. Just can't believe they let employees park in the vacuum/drying area and make customers wait for another spot to open. read more

The machine car wash at the gas station in palm desert has been closed for a long time so unfortunately have had to go elsewhere. Took our pickup truck here and they have the rollers set too strong and too close to the vehicle. Long story short, it scratched our truck pretty bad and turned our mirrors inside out. Besides the fact the "wash" itself was terrible. Our car did not look clean even after the wash, let alone the scratches that persist on our truck. Our truck isn't new mind you and we have used it for going off-roading, so it's not as big of a bummer as it could have been if it was one of our main vehicles. But the only thing I can think of doing is washing our cars ourselves as places like quick quack cannot be trusted. Heed our review and beware lest your car gets scratched up like ours did. read more
