I just joined yelp to write a review of Quicksilver Limousine. Last month I was flying back from a Seattle business trip to pick up my parents the next day at SFO and bring them to my home to Alameda. The meetings in Seattle went too late so I booked a flight the next morning into Oakland Air. When that flight was cancelled, my plans to get my parents at SFO fell apart. Someone in my SF office (a Yelp person) recommended Quicksilver Limousine. I called them that morning and John was wonderful. He arranged the car to go by my office in SF and pick up a spare set of housekeys and then go to SFO and meet my parents at baggage claim. John assured me that they would send a nice driver who would help with the bags and help them get into my house. I booked a replacement flight from Seattle into SFO and when I called to arrange a car for myself, I was dismayed to learn that John had gone home (I guess he starts at like 4 in the morning). A woman named Lisa assured me that everything was on schedule and they were tracking my parent's flight. Just before I boarded my flight in Seattle the Quicksilver limo driver called me from his cell phone and told me he had met my parents. He let me speak to my dad (mom is in a wheelchair) so I could explain everything. When I touched down at SFO, Quicksilver had a limousine car waiting to take me back to Oakland airport to pick up my own car. By that time Lisa had gone home and I was talking to someone named Ken. He let me know that my parents were safely in my house. I got my car and made it home in time to make a late dinner for all. All the people I spoke to at Quicksilver were intelligent, good listeners and helpful. and no matter who I talked to, everyone was on the same page. Mom and dad also said their driver was great. In the past my company had used different car service but this is the first time I had used quicksilver. My driver whose name was Rodney picked me from the hotel in downtown. I was talking to my friend when the driver politely asked me if he can help with the bag. I said yes and he the bag in the trunk. Rodney had already opened the car door and was waiting until I got into the car. Even though I was talking not once did Rodney leave. He waited until I said goodbye to my friend and sat in the car. He than closed the door and went to the drivers side. First he confirmed with me the airport, the airline, and he asked me what time was the flight. Never have I had a experience where the driver asked me about my flight plan. This is truly remarkable. What sold me when I first saw the town car he was driving, very clean and shinny. I always say the way a person presents his car and the sharpness of how he dresses tells and shows me what kind of a company it is. One word sums it all about Rodney and quicksilver....IMPRESSIVE......if you do make a reservation request for Rodney. He is a gem...kudos to quicksilver for a job well done. read more

Monday 9/12 was my first experience using Quicksilver Town Car. I was completely impressed!!! Booking the car with the 800 number was a simple and easy transaction. But here's where I became a HUGE fan of Quicksilver! My plane had literally touched down at SFO; within 2 minutes of touchdown the Quicksilver office called me to give me instructions as to where to meet our driver and to ask if we needed help with our bags. Our driver Rodney met us at the agreed upon pick up spot at SFO. He immediately seated us in the town car and then loaded our bags in the trunk of the car. The car itself was immaculate, with bottles of water in the back seat. Rodney truly understands customer service and has the hospitality spirit! He even carried our luggage up the front stairs. This guy is good!!! I asked my wife if she would feel comfortable using Quicksilver as a woman traveling alone? She said definitely because of her experience with our driver Rodney. In conclusion: 5 stars for Quicksilver on all fronts!!!! read more

Well, I guess the easiest way to sum up my experience is Rodney, Rodney! This was the first time I'd used Quicksilver and Rodney was my driver. I'd requested him based on other mentions of him here on Yelp and I am glad I did. As a woman traveling alone and dealing with medical issues, feeling safe is very important. He didnt know about these issues. He just knows how to take care of a customer regardless. He was on time, helped with my bags, the car was clean and shiny and on the way up from San Fran to Petaluma, he gave me quite a lot of information about the area. He was a wonderful tour guide. Even stopping at the base of the Golden Gate bridge so I could take some pictures. I felt comfortable knowing that Rodney was going to be my driver for the whole weekend. I can say honestly, that I will be using Quicksilver again every time I go up North and I will definitely request Rodney and YOU should too! I am responsible for getting all of our executives of the company their transportation while traveling. I did not have a car service in SF and found Quicksilver on the web and took a chance. I must say they have been wonderful to work with. We had airline problems and they handled all of our pick up with such ease. Even got a call when each passenger was in their car. In total I used them 6 times for one trip, each pickup & delivery went as smoothly as the first. I am so impressed with this company and look forward to using them again....only wish they were in all the other cities I have to deal with. read more

Friendly and efficient staff when calling to make a reservation. Had the meet and greet inside airport (worth the extra 20 bucks for the suprise) and our driver was waiting with a huge smile where we easily located him. Driver was very friendly and helpful - car was very clean and comfortable. What a great way to start off a San Francisco vacation. The cab ride back to airport at end of trip was only 30 dollars cheaper than the more personlized QuickSilver town car service. Next time will use them roundtrip! read more

Oct 2009-Our flight was due to come in near midnight, but came in about 15 min early. Our driver was already waiting for us at baggage claim with our name on a sign. We went briskly to the car, and a beautiful car it was. Immaculate. The driver was the utmost professional. He even waited with us when our son did not get to the door in a timely manner and left only when he opened the door-about 10 minutes. I wouldn't even consider using anyone other than Quicksilver. We have used limo companies many times, mainly in New York, and have got used to arriving at the airport and having to wait for the car to arrive, but not with Quicksilver (San Francisco). Both on arrival and departure the driver was waiting for us and on both occasions the driver was very smartly dressed, professional and friendly. The cars were immaculate and comfortable. We would have absolutely no hesitation in using this company again and in recommending them to others. read more

i ordered a towncar and got a suburban. it was very late and raining, so i didn't argue. quicksilver towncar charged me a hundred bucks to ride in a wagon queen family truckster. they didn't offer me any recourse, such as "we'll have a towncar available in 15 minutes if you can wait" ...or "we'll knock off 50 bucks because this isn't the car you ordered." they get their money regardless of their service. read more
