(DIY construction and Home Depot didn't have large enough pieces of sheet metal for me to make it) I called 20+ places in the Hartford area. Yankee was under half the price of the second lowest quote. And everybody else had lead times in the 3 days to 3 weeks range. The man I spoke to said "give me a few hours and I can get it done". We ended up not being ready for the duct until recently. I decided that since their price was so good we could afford to have them make the plenums. My boyfriend brought in detailed drawings and sat down with a foreman who gave him a great price for the new work. 24 hours later the whole duct was done and loaded into his car! They included everything we needed to install it and the pieces were perfectly sized with our drawings. The ducts look great installed...for two days my boyfriend and I just kept starring at it. The service and product are superlative. I'll never buy sheet metal and make my own ducts again...I only wish I'd called around when we made the new ducts for our kitchen last year! The first…read moretime was for a leak under a bathroom sink that was filling the cabinet with water, they came and identified it as a very small part that was replaced in 5 minutes and barely charged me anything at all. The second time, the pull to turn the shower on stopped working. They came out quickly and while this turned in to a bigger repair that required cutting a hole in the wall of the room next to the bathroom, they explained what needed to be done and why before proceeding with the work. This most recent time we had a clog between the house and septic and they came, identified the issue, put a new cleanout in the basement and snaked the system out twice to ensure the problem was fixed. I have always been very pleased with their service and responsiveness and appreciate having a plumber I can trust. Would recommend them to anyone!

They were prompt, courteous, well priced, and exceptionally kind. We went with a tank replacement and I couldn't have been happier with the service. Fast forward to today. I was in the basement and noticed a small streak of oil down the side of the tank, which appeared to be coming from one of the pipes connected to the tank. I dropped a quick email to Crown Point. They responded immediately, had someone at the house within a few hours, and didn't charge me for the visit. To be 100% clear, the drip down the side of the tank was minor and was NOT because of their initial work but they covered it fully. Again - prompt, courteous, and top notch customer service. HARD TO FIND THESE DAYS! Cannot recommend this company enough or say enough nice things about them. Good people!

Have had R&R come out for various non-urgent repairs and boiler maintenance over the last 20 years…read more A handful of aging copper pipe joints/valves replaced, and most recently a corroded steam pipe. I've only one issue in the distant past with a replaced outdoor spigot that broke after one season, and they came right out, determined that the original part wasn't for outdoor use and replaced at no charge. Reasonable prices and Ron is a wealth of knowledge and experience.

This experience with Service Relief did not go well and still isn't fully resolved…read more First I called several weeks ago to schedule what I thought would be a minor job. No call back after a full week. I finally schedule service and the first service tech is unable to resolve the issue and says he will need to order parts. I get a date when they will come back and end up with a service tech that replaces the faucet and shower head and leaves me with a dripping shower faucet and a hole in the wall that I tells me I need to get an access cover with no real details. He also tells me that since they can't replace the fixtures in my bathroom sink I need to purchase a new vanity and faucet. Mind you over the several days that it took to come out the second time these items could have been ordered and at my home or ready for pick up. On the scheduled day of the third appointment I get a call as I am leaving work to get home for the service that indicates the service tech has an emergency and can't make it. On the fourth day I get several calls from scheduling about where to pick up the items I ordered and then finally requesting the order number. Two techs arrive to install the new vanity and faucet. During the install they started talking about me or another customer while in my bathroom. After all this they try to convince me that my shower faucet isn't leaking and then say if it starts to they can come back. In addition after they left I found two of my towels balled up on the floor wet and with debris in them. They never asked to use these towels for this purpose. My shower faucet is still dripping. At least I have new fixtures and a new vanity.

The last call they cancelled the night before so I ended up calling another company. The other company came in and fixed the problem...they left out a part allowing the water to heat properly and fixed the pipe to make it burn the oil cleaner. I called this company four times to ask for compensation for this and all I get is that they will call me back and they never did.
