They tricked me and disrespected me. First, they apparently ignored the contract I had negotiated…read moreso they cost me$2000 for the house not being broom swept even though the contract I brought them specifically covered that. They waited till 5 minutes before closing on a Friday to tell me, so if I wanted the house that weekend I had no choice. When I complained I was told I should have read the contract. I thought my lawyer was supposed to be on my side! Secondly, the entire project of selling and buying both houses was my and only my project. Although my husband and FIL were there, that was just to sign things. The older male lawyer asked a question and as I tried to respond he told me to hush. I was traumatized so I did what I was told. Every question he asked my husband, my husband had to get the answer from me. Third, although I was on an extreme time crunch, they barely tried to get ahold of the other lawyer. I had to pay a month hotel bill for my in-laws as well as a month of maintenance and rent for the place I was buying Long and short they are unprofessional and do not care about their clients.

Once we informed the agent helping us, Steven Ferrigno, he told us to bring him our applications along with fees that come with it. We dropped off necessary documentation and our payment to the Ferrigno office. We called the next day to ask on any updates or a time frame we should be preparing for but no one answered any of the 4 of us. As the week went on we continued trying to contact Steven through email and phone calls with no luck. We then decided to involve one of our parents who is also very experienced in real estate, the parent finally had gotten word from Ferrigno that he had never received any of our documents or the paid fees enclosed. This is concerning to me because as a group we followed up on the status of our papers daily but were unfortunately ignored. I wish I could say I'd recommend this company to family and friends but I am afraid that is not the case. Efficiency and communication are not the goals here.

We hired Corbett HVAC to have a External exhaust fan for our spice business. They required a…read moreprepaid fee for a guy to come out and give an job inquiry. Was told that the hourly fee was $125 an hour for labor and any parts used. ok... Was told that he would be there at 8 am. Ok... Here is the list of what happened... A) Guy(s) didn't show up till 10:30 after I called twice, one at 9, and another at 10:15 to find out where the repair truck was. B) I supplied the fan and a brand new smoke pipe and a part of one for installation with the understanding that it was to be a 45 degree angle for proper venting. After 2 "supply runs", they cut a 1' piece off of the new piece after they purchased 2 new smoke pipes! they also charged for a whole pound of screws when that should have been on their truck from other projects. I am now stuck with parts that I cannot return or use. C) they were on the work site from 10:30am to 3:30pm, with two supply runs included so that means 5 hours of labor. When I get the phone call, I was told that they were charging me for 7 hours of labor!!! After a discussion with managerial, they were willing to only remove 1 hour of labor and not reimburse me for the wasted parts! I received no itemized list of what the parts used cost, only a list and a total charge. After two additional phone calls, I finally received an invoice and there is no way I can leave a review on their website!! WILL NOT USE AGAIN!!! Do not recommend!!!

Bob Laudette, owner of James Carboni Plumbing and Heating…read morefor over 33 years, was negligent in fulfilling his contract upon the installation of the furnace on December 3, 2019.  "ALL WORK WILL BE PERFORMED IN A NEAT AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND WILL MEET OR EXCEED ALL STATE AND LOCAL CODES."   Obviously he did not inspect the installation of the project on December 3 or he was not up to date on building codes.  The building inspector gave him 3 citations for code violations.The chimney clean out door was cemented ..a potential fire hazard. Contrary to Bob Laudette's explanation, the chimney was serviced prior to installation and given a stamp of approval!  The oil line was not protected properly and would cause a major oil leak if someone tripped over it and dislodged it; the duct work/ bonnet was installed with major gaps heating the basement to over 90 degrees. Besides the citations for code violations, Bob Laudette has ignored issues with the furnace and units: combustion issues with small explosions, malfunctioning humidifier, blower so powerful it rattles doors, oil leaks, filters to keep the blower working properly and to insure quality of inside air malfunctioning, extensive dust, uniform distribution of heat is deplorable with the basement heated at 90 degrees and the upstairs rooms are cold. All this for $7500? Now Bob Laudette wants to come and service the new furnace three months later after he ignored numerous calls in January and in fact cancelled a service call. At that point, I had to call reputable and licensed contractors to check out the furnace but the problems still persist. I contacted other agencies for help.  Consumer Protection who has limited authority suggested I pursue legal representation.  My mother, Amelia Wakely, expected and paid for what she thought was an up to date working oil furnace. Why would anyone keep a lemon; deal with a company who fails to treat a client in a professional manner or not at all; who does substandard work and delivers a defective product and writes they have a great business ethic!  Could Bob Laudette possibly service the furnace in the future if he can't deliver an up to date American Standard working furnace now? My mother wants her money returned, the furnace and so forth removed, and the mess they left cleaned up. Bob Laudette did not install a system free of charge out of the goodness of his heart. Lastly, my mother's health living under these conditions has deteriorated since the furnace was installed December 3,2019 . With the pandemic, the directive now is to shelter in the safety and comfort of your home. The safety of her home is a health hazard. How insensitive Bob Laudette is to suggest this is a frivolous matter! Hopefully our experience will save someone from grief in the future! Photos supplied upon request!
