Yep, another 5 star rating review from another happy client…read more Paul Hanson is not a good attorney. No way. Not even close. No. Paul Hanson is an outstanding attorney! Top shelf effective in caliber; Strong, up-standing character. In a class of his own. He's always so friendly, professional, very thorough, and will never leave you wondering or confused about your case or the process. He fully explains all angles and options and their pros/cons to help you make informed and smart decisions for yourself. I have only good things to say about Mr. Hanson. I am so grateful for everything he did for me. I was being charged with Obstruction of Law Enforcement. From the first time we spoke on the phone, I was totally confident in my case. I trusted Paul would work in my interest for the best possible outcome (a dismissal). And that's just what he did! Although I was prepared to go to trial, Paul's hard work proved successful when the judge and prosec attorney agreed to Paul's motion for dismissal. Happy Day!! So, don't wait. Call him now! I promise, you'll be happy you did. Thank you, Paul. You're the best! I wouldn't have this glorious victory if I didn't have you on my side.

I called to ask about contesting a speeding ticket, and he was incredibly kind, patient, and honest with me throughout the conversation. He clearly explained the whole process on how to respond to the ticket, what to say in the email, and how to request a deferral during the hearing. He even told me that I could handle it on my own. Attorney Paul was also extra patient and respectful, as I am not a native English speaker. I didn't end up using his service, but I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and understanding attorney.

I worked in law firms, and an investigation agency, and worked cases in legal investigation for oversights, and Lance was reasonable in his initial pricing, and very honest in our call, not focusing on time but facts. Lance presented a win-win negotiation agreement which mindfully was a road very few attorneys would offer that are just seeking high priced litigation revenue. Lance could not have extended himself, but he even knew the other side's attorney & reached out, and negotiated to get both sides out of high priced litigation over civil protection order litigation, and the mutual agreement he wrote, actually was exactly what I needed to protect our LLC and halt some severe attack to the daily rights for any small business owner especially in diversity to not be "legally bullied" in litigation, and defamation. Lance just flew in like a legal superhero and his staff that I have met were all so kind, making me miss my past days of working for another rare special NY attorney. Lance Fryrear is unique, also with his educational You Tube videos which he donates time to create to support a higher consciousness to freely educate and support all diverse communities. He showed up efficiently, and appeared in high professionalism in a court hearing while the other side was scattered & initially a bully. Other attorney no longer was a verbal bully once Lance stepped into the case. Lance Fryrear and his legal team can support a smoother, kinder, expertise approach with excellent efficiency and fast productive communications. I would give this firm 10 Stars but only 5 are an option today. I highly recommend Lance Fryrear, Attorney for any legal challenge and the legal team at this firm are excellent too!

Julie Caputo handled a family member's case for about 6 months. The case is still ongoing so I…read morecan't discuss specifics. Julie is best suited for cases that are likely to settle in mediation or arbitration. You can tell by looking at her web site which clearly states they prefer Collaboration, Mediation, and Arbitration and I quote: ..."We reserve the use of litigation - the use of the courts to make decisions for the family - as a last resort for our clients..." I suggest you heed this, it's a warning. Julie sucks in court. She was not prepared, was not organized, and during one short hearing when Julie spoke, my family member counted 33 "umms and ahhhs" as he shrunk in his chair. Bad place to realize you are not represented by an experienced litigator that lights up when it's their turn to speak, becomes a presence, a force to be reckoned with. Julie is none of that. Julie will steer you to get along, don't rattle the cage, to give in, and she does not like the courtroom. We warned Julie we had a very high conflict case that was unlikely to settle. When opposing party pulled stunts, Julie's frustration was always directed at her client, my family member. She gets mad and literally yells at and belittles clients to their face--clients that are already traumatized by the high conflict nature of the relationship they are extricating themself from. It all came crashing down during a phone call between my family member and Julie. After yelling at him and slamming down the phone, she missed the handset cradle--she continued yelling in her office (to her son Nicholas who works for her), thinking she had hung up. "I HATE THIS CASE - XX must be stupid, doesn't care about money" --on and on (can't go into case specifics)-- for 4-5 minutes as family member listened to what Julie and Nicholas *really* thought about him and the case, until she figured out the phone had not hung up. Whoops. I gave one star because Julie does have redeeming qualities. She's just not good in court, nor is she able to handle truly high conflict cases with empathy and grace. To Julie's credit, she writes good letters, but forgets to use spellcheck, or hover over underlines--lots of typos. She also introduced us to 191 restrictions in parenting plans which prior counsel did not know about or mention. She is probably very good at collaboration, mediation and arbitration but we don't know, our case was never headed that way. We have new counsel, a brilliant experienced litigator that comes to court 100% prepared, large and in charge. He is totally unfazed by the high conflict antics of opposing party, to the contrary, he exhibits empathy, and watches for his place to jump in to make it stop. On the last round of motion flurry, while we are still processing what just happened, he is half way to the next goalpost. Incredible. If you need an effective courtroom litigator, keep looking, they are out there. You can check my other reviews.
