Not filled and not ordered. I call and they push through. I have called a few times now and expressed my frustration - but it is never them or the web site. They can call if I have a prescription waiting (a million times), but can't call if there is an issue I can help with a call to insurance or doctor. Meanwhile it disappears and I dont have my medication and time going by - I am out of medication. UGHHHHH I have called, left reviews and don't know what else to do. I would feel better if they didn't keep telling me it was the doctors. These are from different doctors. The one time I called and they said the doctor did not submit pre auth -- took me one my chart message and 1 day to fix. If I hadn't looked and called when status changed it would not have been communicated to me. Bottom line - if you have my script and you can't fill for whatever reason - CALL ME before changing status to back to square one. Really not trying to be difficult. As a manager, I may not have liked hearing something was wrong, but it is in all our best interest not to deflect and be defensive. Customer service is listening and working with client to with client to help find a solution. This store is very busy and I feel bad for them with the lines in drivethru and in store. Too small and understaffed. But as bad as I feel for them, I need my medications and my health matters. PS This was not always this way at this store. I dread having to redo all my scripts with another pharmacy not in my community.

Was at CVS pharmacy about 10:45, the person at the register today was extremely extremely rude. I…read morego to this pharmacy at least 2 to 3 times a month. Today I get told that I have no percentage off I said yes I do pulled out my phone and shoulder. I had a 40 and a 30% off plus a few other coupons she rudely told me I could not use them cause I was buying buy one get 1/2 off. I said no I'm only purchasing one. She says it doesn't work that way. I said they do it that way every single time I'm here I never have a problem. She told me I was wrong and I didn't know what I was talking about and I had no coupons. Then she also told me it was before 12 o'clock on a Sunday so I cannot purchase my alcohol, which I understand I did not know it had to be after 12 o'clock and she told me three times. It is the Indiana state law so don't go and try to get alcohol any place else cause it won't work. I'm like OK I'm sorry I was unaware. She's like well. You can't do it anywhere else. It's just not a CVS policy. It's an Indiana state policy again. I apologize and she's like well. Don't try it cause it won't work. I'm like OK now. I really feel like a piece of shit. Thank you very much, lady.

I scheduled a vaccine and received a notice that the vaccine was not available. I then scheduled the same vaccine at the St. John CVS and they had the courtesy to call me to let me know the vaccine was not covered by my prescription insurance and requested my health insurance information. The vaccine was covered thru my health insurance and was free. It is sad that the Cedar Lake CVS would not provide me with the same courtesy phone call to make sure the vaccine was covered instead of just cancelling the vaccine! I will never go the the Cedar Lake CVS again, even though I live there. The staff there has always been rude and always seem to be bothered by the customers.

For Walgreens Store #06906 at 12:56PM on 2/25/2026, 6097 Broadway, Merrillville I clipped a coupon in your app for $2 off qty 1 coupon Sudafed Sinus and Pressure the coupon did not expire until 3/14/26. Upon checkout the coupon was not showing on the register. So the clerk ask for a Mgr to come over. (Iliana - who I later found out was not a manager) Came over and took my phone from my hand and said the coupon wasnt being applied because the coupon was not showing in GREEN??? Because coupons show in green ON HER PHONE?? I told her that I dont know Walgreens color coding policy and does that mean she cant price adjust and not going to honor the coupon even though she sees it is clipped, not expired and not an online only coupon. Iliana then says that my app is the problem and needs to be updated?? Again, I question why do that now instead of the coupon being honored?? I was recently hit with a crippling flare-up of sciatica pain from the right hip down the leg to…read morethe ankle and around the foot. For lesser pain, I'd previously tried a topical, heating pad, and Ibuprofen. This time the regime barely topped off the pain, leaving me to hobble around, the moving finally providing a little relief. (I'd checked with CVS Pharmacy and no dice on anything CBD without going through a doctor and getting insurance approval. Who knows how long before I could even see the doctor? Not an option.) Talking to a lady in a class at the Y, she referred me to Custom Dosing for a CBD formula. I stopped in around midday. Several customers in the store and I wandered over where I saw CBD products. It looked like there were several options but wasn't sure what I was looking at, had no experience with any, and not sure what to try. I was helped next, explained what I was looking for and she directed me to the products I was looking at. She explained that this product, a roll-on, was a new product to them as well. There was also a cream and another roll-on (I think) and all were priced much higher than expected. Still, I was anxious to try something promising relief. A roll-on can be messy, not dry real fast or be absorbed quickly, but neither do I have to wash it off my hands after application and it's not sticky. However, after a few applications of the product once in the morning, once at night (apparently could do more if needed), the relief has been tremendous. At 3000mg of cbd as well as incidental ingredients, it's effective. Love it! It works; only I might search for a less expensive pharmacy.

Closed on Sunday! Closed on Monday!! including today when they are closed for the next two days for Christmas Eve and Christmas. I'm a Valpo customer who will switch as soon as I pick up my prescriptions that were called in on Wednesday. They do not lift a finger to be customer oriented in the least bit. Scrooge owns this place.
