Completely disappointing. Unless you're a local or family, steer clear of this place. Rude server and even more rude owner. Terrible food and racism served here daily. As we were dining on the porch, they turned the lights out on us (and never apologized). My sister in law and her husband's food did not taste good and they did comp their meal. However, they brought our friend the completely wrong order and would not replace it or comp him. Most of the food was cold and they left us with empty glasses eating our food by cell phone flashlight. Even if you have to drive 20 minutes farther, spend your money at an establishment that treats people with respect and makes edible food. read more

My family and I did Thanksgiving 2018 here and it's usually good but this was one of the WORST dining experiences ever! The food wasent good, the atmosphere was HORRIBLE, it was over-crowded and people were shoved in, it felt like we were sardines in a can, the food was AWFUL, things were cold, things didn't taste good, my expectations definitely were not met and this will not be something that is done again, if I could give it less than one star believe me I would! read more

Horrible service! Ordered medium rare prime rib. Brought to table and was cold. Sent it back and they just threw under the warmer made it medium well and brought it back. No flavor and not good at all. Asked for desserts and server walked by us and looked at us 5 times and never came back. Don't waste your time with this place! Do not do Thanksgiving meal here! U have been warned. $200.00 for fam to eat there on Thanksgiving. We have eaten there before, it's good for a quick greasy meal. We have even had their steak, which was tough, the owner wanted to argue, we just paid and left. Now back to Thanksgiving, we have eaten there for Thanksgiving a few times, it wasn't great , not to bad. Somewhat pallatable, with not to much heart burn afterwards. Today was horrible...they locked u out till your reservation time 1:00, they don't tell u this at time of making reservations, so u are freezing outside..(need to know information,, especially when u have kids) thank God we arrived 5 minutes early, Didn't have to sit in the cold long.When they open the door everyone rushes the door to be the first in, separating children from parents, elderly from kids..etc u get the pic finally u get in, and get your family back together, the first thing u do is pay.The other victims listen to your conversation and watching u pay, how intrusive. This is a very small place it should sit about 100 people comfortably, they cram 150 to 200 people into this place at one time,needless to say u are not able to get out of your chair without bumping the table behind you, I got bumped several time, which caused my tea to spill in my lap. They sat us on the deck, which had been enclosed with thin crunchy plastic, it was freezing. Asked the owner to turn on heat, she refused to, she said when it filled up it would get warmer, load of crap.... Now let's talk about this buffet, if you go on their Facebook page you'll see a beautiful cooked turkey along with some beautiful trimmings your normal stock photo of Thanksgiving dinner. Know what you receive looks nothing like what is on that page. Their turkey is shredded white and dark meat mixed together in a half pan with water on the bottom to keep it warm. Since I cannot eat dark meat I was not able to have any turkey. Then they had roast beef smothered with Gravy and I thin layer of grease floating on top I guess that is because most of what I saw was in the pan is the part of the cheap roast with fat still attached to it. So I could not eat that so what was left well dried out pork, some type of chicken I'm not sure if it was fried ,baked ,or broiled, look Burnt , last but not least for the meats they had ham. Pre-baked ham's which all you do is slice and heat, they put this in a pan sliced so thin you could almost see through it, then they throw some brown stuff in it.I guess brown sugar to make it sweet and pineapple I am here to tell you that is the nastiest Ham you'll ever eat. Let's go to what they call the vegetables you had green beans with grease floating on them, Macaroni and cheese that you could tell I've been sitting there all day and was all clumped together and Luke warm. Instant potatoes cold, white gravy? where is the turkey gravy, or the beef gravy? White gravy is for biscuit ( which I probably would've enjoyed more than dinner, and would've been hell of a lot cheaper ) Cream corn out of the can, sweet potatoes with loads of sugar and marshmallow on top, we're so sweet they would hurt your teeth when you bit into and again these are canned sweet potatoes. Some type of squash casserole with sugar in it, preprocess fried okra just heat and serve. That was the main bar. On a small table in the corner which you really over look when you come in,you don't notice it to you go out then you have to fight the crowd to get to it . On this table they had a big old tub of canned cranberry, flat Rolls, (what happened to dinner rolls). I guess they called is the cold table because it also had potato salad, and slaw everything on this table was cold. Now let's talk about the desert. Pre-frozen premade pumpkin pie with artifical whip cream, Instant chocolate pudding with artifical whip cream, pan of pre-frozen brownies heat and serve, something they called strawberry shortcake which was dried out so they covered it up with what they called whipped cream. After sitting there for an hour with five children freezing our ass off, trying to eat some of the worst food cooked in America we finally left. I came home threw a turkey in the oven made some dressing pulled a few other things out and it's 6 o'clock we finally had a decent Thanksgiving meals. I was embarrassed to take my son here who has his culinary degree from the Art Institute of Atlanta .Bad service, owner rude,really bad food. Country bumpkins, expensive for such crap called food. Even the homeless get a warm place to eat Thanksgiving dinner, we were paying customers and froze our ass off. Miserable place to take family to on Thanksgiving. Heart burn is kicking in 5 antiacids and counting. read more

I just finished a wonderful Sunday lunch at this local restaurant. It's fantastic to find a mom and pop restaurant that brings that small business owner feeling to the dining experience. There were six of us and each of us had a different item and for each selection that came out, the portions were very ample and the food was absolutely fantastic. I live in the heart of Atlanta and we dine out often and I can honestly say that for a meat and vegetable type of restaurant, this would be near or at the top of our list in Atlanta. The prices are extremely affordable and again everybody absolutely loved their meals. They've been open for about 3 1/2 years now from what I understand and I will be pushing the family to go again each time we come up to visit. I'm looking forward to my next dining experience with them and I highly recommend you give them a shot... read more
