It's like a giant warehouse. They even have a sofa, huge armchair, and a box of games and toys for kids waiting for their quilter to finish shopping. They have bad-for-the-environment options like batiks; lots of oversized quilt-backing fabrics; 50+ kinds of white; whole rows of patriotic fabrics, (if that's what you're into) and whole rows of Christmas, Halloween, 'fall,' etc; literally thousands of patterns. I found the staff a bit sour and gruff. The 'natural' grocery store next door looks interesting.... I'll probably come back for that.

They immediately started taking a look at my machine and trying to help me until their service technician was able to come in. prior to today, even their customer service while on the phone was exceptional and Tom, their service technician, even called me on his personal cell phone to try to help me over the phone to figure out what was wrong with my machine. they were very quick knowing that I had some projects that I really needed to get done, and even brought my machine out to my car when it was done to help from having to wake up my baby and get him out of the car! I live an hour away from this location, but will 100% be coming back to this location if I ever need my machine serviced again.

Not much has changed... They still sell furniture items that feel unsteady (wobbly) to me. They still have a lot of China made decor, ironically this time for the July 4th holiday...there is something that strikes me as wrong about that, is that just me? The service is good at these places though, they had a large staff who was stocking the shelves. I was asked several times by them if they could assist me with anything. The prices seem high at first, but almost everything has sale tags on them for like 30-50% off.

The staff was friendly enough until I changed my mind about getting a couple of chairs recovered. I signed the purchase order and a few days later, decided that I wanted to use the fabric originally planned to recover the chairs for drapes instead. I explained that I just wanted to order some different fabric for the chairs from them and use my own upholster. They totally refused to refund the labor costs even though the new fabric and not even been purchased for the chairs. This is very confusing. If you don't want to use their upholstery labor, then why should you have to pay for it if you change your mind and want to use your own sources for the labor? I had to buy additional fabric from them to get the chairs recovered in order not to lose the much inflated price they charge for labor. I think they could easily have refunded the labor costs since that service was no longer desired. Now I am looking at a 7 week delay in getting the finished chairs returned. In addition I have to bring the chairs to the store in order to dodge another charge. I could have gotten them turned around in 3 weeks for a much more reasonable price. I was NOT told this was the policy when I originally made arrangements. I feel very ripped off and will never do business with Calico Corners ever again! Please spare yourself some grief and do not use Calico Corners! I am now very concerned that the workmanship will not be up to par even after a long wait! This was a very expensive mistake!
