And they took me in right away, but They are rude and my toes are severely damaged. And I'm hurting really bad hoping that I don't get an infection And then they pushed for a tip. Like, I'm not gonna tip. If the service is not good, I still tip the lady that did my nails because she was a sweetheart. But the lady that did my toes was rude, and she cut me twice. When it comes to cleaning nails properly and thoroughly, they're the best. Tough love in Medes when handling you, but super thorough. No other salon has cut my mom's fungal-grown toe nails with care like this place! So if you have a similar situation, you can count on them taking care of it. Really liked my pedicure but a day later I found my big toe hurting terribly. I had felt like she was cutting too deep on my cuticle and it hurt a bit, she essentially ripped it off. Today it hurts terribly, I can't even walk properly, it's already infected after wearing sandals all day. I am really very disappointed. I've never had an ingrown this bad happen before from a salon. EVER. have a feeling they're one of those salons that just pull off cuticles and cut skin without really caring, nor do they ask you if you're okay, and since it got infected so quickly I also have a feeling they're not cleaning tools properly. I wanted to leave a nice review because staff was nice but this is the worst pedicure i've ever had :(. I would call and ask for a refund but I have a feeling I'd just get in an argument with them. My husband took me to this nail place telling me I need to do a pedicure but due to me having cancer treatment and that all of my nails and toe nails are turned black and is too embarrassing to show it and have it done. I met this beautiful woman helping me to do my feet and she was so gentle and was very polite to asked me about my cancer, bless her soul such a thoughtful lady to her customers and we end up having a good conversation plus get my toe nails done. I don't want to color it, so I will watch when the black nails come off. Overall she did a great job and my husband go to this salon to do his toe nails too (yes they do for men). This has been my go-to place for pedicures for at least a year now, so I thought I might as well get a manicure along with my pedicure today. Terrible mistake. They asked if I wanted them trimmed, but I was not expecting what they did. They cut my fingernails and skin for an hour. The finished product is jagged nails of varying shapes, so short that they hurt when air touches my hands. At least 2 nails are cut well below the quick. You'd think with the amount of trimming they did that my cuticles would look great, but I have cuts and hang nails and sloppy cuticles. Every nails is a different shape and length, but mostly straight across or at an angle, not rounded and really jagged, and way way way too short. Painfully short. I have to have this fixed and I have to find a new nail salon. Huge bummer. read more

Coming here was a very bad idea. I decided to come here because it's in the area. As soon as I walked in, I was uncomfortable. Everyone just looked at me. They didn't say hi. I awkwardly stated that I wanted a pedicure. They were all with a few clients so I waited for a couple minutes. They put me in a massage chair to soak my feet. I waited for almost 10 minutes but I didn't mind this part. The guy comes over with some supplies that look like they have been washed with soap and water. He started cutting my nails and doing everything so slowly that it made me nervous. I'm not sure how long he's been doing this.. Then he cuts the sides of my nails into a really weird shape. He does it on my big toe and I start bleeding! He then tells me that I have fungus. SERIOUSLY?! Maybe you're just doing this all wrong! I'm actually sitting here having my toes done while writing this review. I already regret coming here instead of my usual place. He hasn't even started doing the polish.. Aw man, I regret writing this review because the owner and lots of other ladies who work here ARE very sweet, as several reviewers have noted. One extra star for service with a smile. But I had such a (literally) painful experience recently, I feel duty bound to warn others! I've been coming to this salon on and off for a few years now. It's the closest salon to my home that does a half decent job with acrylics (which I wear for performances, and no I'm not a stripper). Often my experience was just fine, my nails decent looking and durable. But the ladies here have carelessly inflicted pain/drawn blood too many times now, the most recent being the worst: - Last visit. Having acrylics removed (hallelujah!). Rather than soak them off in acetone, which is by far the most humane, this salon clips and rips them off the natural nail. It hurts! I sit there clenching my jaw and wincing the whole time. After that, they proceed to "buff" remaining bits still adhering to my thin, weakened nail with the electric filing drill ordinarily used for acrylics (and maybe really thick toenails). **Grossness alert, skip next sentence if squeamish**........ She actually drilled one nail so thin that blood seeped through from the underlying nail bed. Other nails were also very red, raw, and sensitive by the time she was through. OUCH!! - I've had technicians here carelessly drill into my cuticles while filing acrylics, again drawing blood. - I've had technicians cut my fingernails so short, they bled (noticing a trend?) - During pedicures, they regularly push and trim at my toenail cuticles so aggressively I involuntarily jerk my feet away in pain. Cuticles are always raw, red, and sometimes (yes) bleeding when they're done. - They trim my toenails in extremely short, weird shapes, cutting deeply into the sides, afterwards claiming I had toe fungus. It hurts for days, leaving the usually-protected nail bed sensitive and exposed. Oh I've been to a dance podiatrist multiple times and asked about fungus. I didn't have any. In hindsight, I really should have stopped coming here a while ago, but convenience kept bringing me back. No more. read more

Used to like this place because they took care of my ingrown nails (the owner does a nice job) but my gel manicure chips easy and the last time I was there (owner wasn't in) the mani pedi felt rushed and the outcome not great, I had left over nail polish all over my toes. Most frustrating is that they no longer have a list of services and how much it costs, they give you a different price every time. It's hard to have 1 person finish the manicure or pedicure, it looks like one starts and another one finishes, now we got to tip 4 people instead of two. I was visiting and needed a mani/pedi. I called to ask if available for service and how much. I asked about nail art/design because of all the pictures. I got there and was started soaking within a few minutes. However, once the service started it took 2 hours to complete. Instead of two hours of relaxing I found myself tense because of the service and environment. My nails were cut with the cuticle nipper and at closer look are not even. They cute alot of the side of the nail to get around the cuticle so now my nail looks like a 1/2 of a hexagon. I stopped her on my hands after the first cut on my thumb. I ended up filing my own nails into shape. Now my cuticles have area's that have already snagged something and I will need to remove these edges or have a hurtful hangnail or pulled skin. During the polishing she kept using her thumb nail to clean up mistakes. I noticed the owner was not doing this with her clients. That is unprofessional and unsanitary. Also, I was fanning small flying insects. maybe fruit flies but annoying on top of the service. I rarely right reviews but this one had to be shared. Pay cash also or your price that was quoted will be changed to cover fee's. read more

I've been coming here for years now. I highly recommend this place only if you have a lot of time on your hands, they really take their time. So if you're in a rush I suggest you go somewhere else. I usually come on Sunday's, they are pretty slow on Sunday's and can attend you immediately. I have come here several times in the past year because one time will be decent and the next, not so great. But today just pissed me off. They are very inconsistent with what you get for a standard pedicure. I'm pregnant so what I really want is a foot rub, well today I got a 4 minute foot rub, literally, 2 minutes each foot. I literally timed him because he has pulled this before. No lotion either, I had to ask for him to put lotion on, then he just slabbed some on my calves and went right back to painting. He looked at me like I was crazy, meanwhile the lady next to me enjoyed sea salt/sugar rub AND a lotion rub for more than 10 minutes. The other issue I have is with the owner. Every single time I come in here I over hear her telling someone they have a fungus..she is very rude about it, and tends to embarrass the clients. She often suggests they get no polish due to their fungus.... She has done this to me and I have heard her do it to at least 10 people, one time she said it to 3 people in one sitting! I think its just their way to get you to not put polish on so they can save more time and money. I'm seriously mad, 2 minutes on each foot, no lotion! FYI, that is part of your service, maybe you should inform all of your staff. I'll be heading back to my old salon in Potrero. The only reason for 2 stars instead of one is because the young girl there does a really good job when I am lucky enough to get her. read more

The staff is very nice and tend to keep to themselves as opposed to chit chatting and talking about people... :P (I 100% understand it all!)The massages they give you with your mani/ pedi seem like they last forever.
