Waited 1. 5 hours for a 5 minute ear wax removal. Will not be back. The nurse was pleasant though.

Just had major sinus surgery carried out by Dr Vanderwerf and I'm completely delighted with the results.

If you are looking for an ENT doctor, I highly recommend this office. The front desk receptionists…read moreare professional and very courteous. The doctors are highly trained friendly and are thorough.

Dr Vanderwerf is a complete joke of a provider. He did what was supposed to be a same-day…read moreoutpatient surgery on my husband at eisenhower this past week. His OR time got pushed back several hours while we waited. We had a check in time of 1pm and they didn't wheel him back for surgery until after 5pm. When the PACU nurse finally came to get me in the waiting room around 7 PM, she told me that Vanderwerf had ordered my husband to be admitted overnight for observation. The doctor himself NEVER called to update me to tell me this or even tell me how the surgery went. The PACU nurse called Dr Vanderwerf so that he could give me an update (because of course the Dr was already home). He was rude and dismissive because I wanted to know why he couldn't give me the common courtesy of calling me himself or at least sticking around after surgery. When I asked him why he didn't call me, his exact response was "Well, we're talking now". To top it off, he never wrote any admit orders at all so my husband was transferred up to the fourth floor with no diet order, no med orders, no fluids, nothing. By the time our bedside nurse got the orders, the cafeteria was closed. Mind you, my husband was already fully awake, off oxygen, and walking around by 9:15pm but not allowed to eat or drink until the nurse got orders. Then somehow along the way, someone messed up and reported to the hospitalist that my husband has COPD... he does not and has never had COPD. But because it was reported to the hospitalist, she consulted internal medicine. My poor husband got an unnecessary dose of radiation with the chest x-ray that she ordered, and a whole set of a.m. labs the next day, which were completely unnecessary. Then (of course) we had to wait for internal medicine to round on my husband before he could be discharged, even though Dr. Vanderwerf came at 8 AM and said he was putting in the discharge orders then. We barely made it out before noon. So, a HUGE thanks Dr. Vanderwerf for the massive $$$$ inpatient bill that we are about to receive. All of this could have been avoided if he had sent us home and told us to reschedule surgery if he knew he was running so late. Avoid this place like the plague, people.

Absolutely horrible. Had an appointment at the corona Pacific derm, and I've been a patient there…read morefor almost 10 years now, with different dermatologist coming to evaluate my face. This was by far the worst experience i've had at this office. He came in, did not ask me questions about what was going on nor did he even take any time to evaluate my face. He kept trying to leave after 2 minutes even though I had more questions. However the PA, that was there showed way more concern for me and asked me questions after the "dermatologist" left the room. She even referred me to the dermatologist that used to work at the corona office, which i had previous experience with (all positive of course). All he did was prescribe me different things without any instructions or what they would help with. He only cares about a paycheck and not the patients. Since i've gone through different derms at this specific clinic, I know who actually has a heart for the patients and who has a heart for the paycheck.

I had a Saturday morning appointment. He showed up very late to the office & the staff mentioned…read morethat he does that often. He doesn't listen well-just insists he is right before he even knows your situation. I went to him for hair loss. I wanted a scalp biopsy so I can determine what treatment would be effective & not waste my time & money trying things that won't even work. I also have scalp pain & wanted to see if maybe I have a scalp or hair follicle infection. He refused to do a scalp biopsy or culture. He insisted my hair loss is because I'm autoimmune, he says I will always struggle with hair loss. He told me to try minoxidil & "Hope" that it works. He also said he was going to prescribe minoxidil but the prescription was never sent to the pharmacy. And no education was given on minoxidil. Horrible care all the way around. There was no good aspect to any of this.
