He botched throat surgery twice and avoids accountability. Would not recommend very poor patient care.

This place is a complete joke! I was referred to this office and tried for an entire week to schedule an appointment and their phones don't even work. TERRIBLE office staff. I needed a MAJOR procedure done, and TOTALLY passed on it due to the younglady who just simply answers the phone. I'm going to a place where something is going to be removed for a biopsy. I'd love to be treated with simple courtesy. Dr Nash should REALLY think about the people who represent his practice. The younglady might be less of an asset to his office, and more of a liability. She in the 2 minutes I TRIED to speak with her, made me doubt his judgment as a doctor. The 1 Star is for him walking in. My experience with this Doctor was one of the worst experiences I have ever had from the very beginning to the very end in terms of follow through, which was extremely poor. I wait for 45 minutes in the waiting room, and 20 more minutes after being called in, which is fine, I know and respect the process. However, Dr. Nash walks in with zero eye contact and says, "hello what's going on?" as he is looking for his Instrument with the light to look in my ear. While I am speaking to why I am there, I get cut off with, "ears look fine, which ear was it again?" Completely dismissing my concern of the blood coming from my ear that the urgent care Doctor and my PCP seen ultimately referring me to Dr. Nash. He did not review my lengthy history form that I had to complete prior to my visit, he not once looked at me as he spent less than five minutes with me in the room looking in both ears with a glass light. He said my ears looked fine, and that this could be internal from the earl drum and that he would prescribe me antibiotic ear drops. This appointment was on October 9th and today is October 24th still waiting for my ear drops to be called in. Several calls to his office with no answers as to why he still has not checked his "bucket" as one the receptionist referred to as. Also went in person with the hopes that I'd have something. But instead, to no surprise, I walked out with the same thing, " he is very busy and has not checked his "bucket." This morning I was kindly helped by the lady who took my call transferring my situation to a supervisor after days of no call backs. She came back with Dr. Nash would like to see me again to see the drainage coming from my ear before prescribing these drops. Get billed AGAIN at specialist rates for the NON SERVICE the first time? No! I'm sure my insurance wouldn't appreciate that. I have declined going to this second appointment and opted to go back to my PCP where I feel like I'm a patient and not just another appointment attached to a dollar sign. I always try to find something that has been helpful in such dissatisfying services, but in this case I could not. Do your homework people and read the reviews. Saw Dr. Nash about 6 weeks ago for a problem with my throat, after a few weeks of suggested behavior modification I feel 100%. Dr. Nash was highly knowledgable, very thorough, spent a good amount of time listening and explaining. Pretty easy to tell he's the kind of doctor that loves his career. Highly recommend. read more

In my opinion, I have never experienced such a blatant disregard for a patient's well being as I have with Dr. Eric Nash. To begin with, he is never in this office so if you are in tremendous pain and in need of immediate care via an ENT do not come to this office. I was advised after multiple calls to get an appointment "Dr. Nash is rarely in the office, he works out of Riverside" and rarely means 1x or less per week. When I finally had my appointment I was told "Dr. Nash is always late" so even though my appointment was the first one in the morning, he was still over an hour late. When I asked why he was so late, I was told he "was in surgery". Hmm, if you are perpetually in morning surgery why not schedule your patients later in the morning, because believe it or not, their time is just as important as yours. Now I apologize for the lengthy review but it is important to note that my visit to his office came after being seen by the Dentist, Urgent Care, Primary Doctor and Eye Doctor all for the same symptoms which incuded severe ear pain and pressure, dizziness, blurred vision, headaches and left side head pain, pressure and vertigo. I had been waiting for this appointment because I had been suffering for quite sometime and been given antibiotics from each specialist only to find the symptoms still there. Seeing an ENT was imperative. My visit with him on 3/6 was very hurried. It lasted 10 minutes and he suggested tension headaches and called in steroids, Musinex and expensive nasal spray that was not covered by my insurance. He also requested a CT (sinus) Scan. The meds didn't work and I ended up in the ER on 3/17. After several calls to his office to expedite Sinus CT Scan I finally had it done on 4/9/18. In the meantime my GP referred me to a Neurologist when I explained what was happening with ENT. On 4/19 I saw the Neurologist and expressed frustration about my ENT and his lack of attention. He was able to log in and see my results were in from CT Scan. He stated Dr. Nash needed to go over them with me. So again, I tried to contact the office but to no avail. It is not fun waiting for CAT scan results so I finally had to drive to the office to get them because Dr. Nash wouldn't call me back. It took another week of calls to finally get him on the phone and at that time he said I should get a Myringotomy in his office (puncture hole in eardrum) or I could try one more round of antibiotics. I opted for the antibiotics and when that round didn't work I called back to schedule the Myringotomy as I couldn't take the pressure and pain anymore. I was able to get Samantha, his staff member on the phone and she said she would call me by the end of the day (Monday) to give me a time for the following Monday's Myringotomy. 5 days went by and I heard nothing. I called throughout the week and no calls back just an answering service. Finally on Friday Samantha answered and said Dr. Nash had changed his mind about the Myringotomy and for me to see a Neurologist. WHAT??!!?? In tears now, I asked to please speak with him and was told he wasn't in but would be for a few hours on Monday. She said she would have him call me to explain why he wanted a Neurologist to help me when the issue was with my Mastoid/ear and why he changed his mind about the procedure. I never heard from him again. I called multiple times and left multiple messages, and the office was always closed. This week I tried calling to find the number disconnected! During this process I googled reviews for Dr. Nash and found several to be quite similar to mine. "Dismissive, never there, prescribes expensive meds, bad experiences" etc.. I personally have never had to a call an office over 30 times to make an appointment, go over treatment options and the fact that I had to drive to the office to get test results because he wouldn't call me back or take time to see me is not acceptable. When you are on in pain, you hope your specialist is going to have compassion and consideration and I did not experience this. Please, do yourself a favor and go anywhere but this ENT! The only positive out of this experience is that his staff member Samantha is very sweet and did everything she could to make up for the lack of care/concern I received from Dr. Nash. read more

I have used Dr. Nash's services for about five years. During that time, I have been generally pleased with the assistance he has given me with my hearing. However, an appointment of mine with him was canceled by his office in April 2018, and I was unable to reach his office by telephone through early July 2018 (voice message said phone was disconnected). The office appears to be perpetually dark. I found another telephone number for him on the website, lqent.com, and the lady who answered promised I would get a call back, but I have not. My two-star rating is a compromise between gratitude for the earlier good service (four stars) and the total collapse of services recently (zero stars).
